Truly a horrid place fully of equally horrid people. I am trying to make a VISA for my Russian grandmother, and I already paid the fee of $160 and filled out an application. Finally, today I found out that there are no appointments in Yekaterinburg, Moscow, or St. Petersburg. My grandmother is not in great health and I have not seen her in years, I cannot believe of the cutbacks that this department is making in Russian embassies for political purposes. They claim that this is because of Putin or a rigged election (funny because America rigs other countries' elections all the time), but the only people suffering are the people living in those counties. Shame on all those who actively participate in these regressive policies!
