If you join the Global Entry program (and if you travel internationally at least once a year, I strongly recommend you do), this program will pay for itself many times over. You are required to conduct a face-to-face interview at an international port of entry, or you can go right to CBP headquarters right in the heart of Washington, DC. Save yourself hours of transit time and go straight to the head shed. Appointments can be made until 8pm, and it only takes a few minutes.

Their hours have been drastically cut. Went in for my global entry interview and discovered they aren t open on Saturdays at all anymore, and they reduced weekday hours to 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
