Check WHERE they send your passport! And if they said that you need to come and pick it up MAKE SURE they put a special sticker on your passport! They told me to pick it up at the consulate the next day (we were in a hurry because of my husband's work) and they sent it somewhere by a mistake!!! So be careful and good luck!

I had a positive experience renewing my L1 visa here. This consulate is located in a convenient place that is easy to access and well managed. Security is standard, electronics are not allowed. Takes time getting to the interview window but that is true for most places. The officers are experienced and the overall process is smooth and hassle free. I was able to collect t the passport the next day at the time mentioned.

The officers arrested me for jay walking. Then proceeded to steal my $350 watch, my hero braclet honoring my deceased brother, my $180 Northface backpack, my passport, my wallet, $300 dollars, my VA health care card, my debit card, my drivers license, my belt, my shoe laces, my hygiene bag with my prescription medication for seizures and PTSD, my Apple phone and my Apple iPad. I have never felt with such corrupt law enforcement officers in my life. And they never gave me a yellow slip of paper to retrieve my my items when I was released several hours later. I will be contacting the consulate and any additional agencies to report these officers. Not to mention that this is the second tie that they have stolen my personal items. I am requisition that my items be returned immediately. The items stolen previously were another Apple phone, my shoe laces, my belt and another Hero bracelet. I have contacted the consulate already and was given the number to the police consulate. As soon as I am done with work today I will contact the police consulate as well to file a formal report. Thank you.

They kept telling me I needed to send an email and I kept repeating I did already. They would not listen until I told them what email I sent my request for information too. I felt like they didn t listen or want to help and just wanted to get rid of me. They wouldn t even allow me to us the restroom. But Security was nice and professional when I asked questions. Nightmare experience due to bad communication and customer service skills.
