Wow, what a great place to visit. Our grandsons entered the museum with us @ 0930 and did not leave until the doors were closing. We saw what seemed like hundreds of real planes, watched 4 IMAX movies, and the two of them got to sit in the cockpit of a Navy A-4. Great day !

Amazing Musuem. Plan to be here for most of the day. So much to see. Due to COVID...you can't go inside of the planes but there is still plenty to see. The sim rides are still open. My husband just retired and he enjoyed it immensely. It is worth multiple visits. Wear comfortable shoes.

A truly epic attraction that has free admission! There are aircraft here that you can see in person that were famous from previous milestones and wars. Make sure you allow for plenty of time as the museum is bigger than it looks from the outside.

I was happy to take my husband there between his knee surgeries because he loves the place. I only wish there were more things about outer space. My biggest complaint is that there are not nearly enough places to sit down. I have severe Fibromyalgia and the day wasn't a good time for me at all. But I wanted to make sure my hubby got to see it again before his 2nd knee surgery. Enjoyed the display about the Holocaust, something we should never forget.

I love planes. Especially the ones with a story like the Memphis Belle. There is so much History here, it's hard to see in one day. Every body needs to see the B-29 Boxcar bomber that ended W.W. 2. And the Admission is Free!!!

Free and easy parking for my travel trailer, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly volunteer staff, food is not as overpriced as I'd expect at a museum cafe, and the exhibits were both numerous and awesome. Lots of historical significance to be found here.
Free admission is pretty cool and the grounds outside of the museum are well cared for. The whole area was clean and well organized.
Definitely would visit again!

Amazing. Eye popping. Unbelievably awesome place. Every cool airplane there ever was is here. You seriously need more than one day to see everything. Several times you stand next to an item or in a place where you can feel the history. Every American needs to see this place.

We love this museum! We spent about 7 hours here this weekend. Our kids are 5 and 2 and they loved the interactive exhibits! There's a lot more than can be seen in one day. The tours are superb if you have the time. They have a bag check at the entrance and I wasn't hassled about my diabetic supplies which I consider a big plus. The gift shop is also very extensive and has items for every price point. If you like learning, this won't disappoint!

A remarkable museum that details much of the development of air and space as it pertains to the United States Air Force. The volunteer staff are very knowledgeable. The collection includes aircraft of all eras. I truly enjoyed this museum and plan to return.

Must see if you haven't already. Allow a full day as there's a lot to see. It has history back to WWI all the way to current. They have an awesome collection of airplanes. The volunteers are very helpful. If you like reading about everything you could probably spend a week there.

It's great to have the largest aeronautics museum in the world just in our own back yard. It was neat to finally get a chance to tour their new building featuring the historic presidential aircraft. We got to walk through the aircraft for FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, and JFKs aircraft. Also, we took a walk-through of the scale model of the space shuttle. What brought home the enormity of the 747 is the fact that the space shuttle, which is HUGE, has to be piggy backed on it for transport. If you have a whole day and good walking shoes you really should go for a visit if you love history, machinery, and aviation.

Very nice, good place to learn history, the original aircrafts, air force one that brought home President Kennedy after his assassination, the planes that dropped the bombs on Japan, first plans, world war one to present, great way to share with the kids. And its all free. Call to check hours.

I really wish I gave myself more than a few hours to visit! I really feel like I could have been there all day and still not make it through it all. If you are an early engine geek like me or a history buff or even someone who just wants to gaze in awe at the scale of the place, this needs to be on your must-visit list!

For all things oriented to military space and aviation, this museum is an astounding experience. There is so much to see here that I always find something different when I visit, and I've been here several times. This is a very large museum. If you want to spend the time to carefully see all of it, it will take a few days to accomplish. Most of us plan on spending a few hours here at a time. Travelers please take note that there are many hotels nearby and even making a short stop here is worthwhile. There is no admission fee.

Such a massive, well-maintained collection of aircraft, vehicles, and other military artifacts! The descriptions are very informative, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The museum itself and its facilities are very clean. There is a food court and a gift shop. There are benches scattered around every room for those who need to rest for a while, as this is a very large complex. Everything is wheelchair accessible, I believe. Some planes are open for people to walk through, which is a very cool experience. Most are not wheelchair accessible though, and the walking space in most are fairly narrow, so it may, unfortunately, be difficult or impossible for larger people to take part in the experience. There are also some planes/plane cockpits that can be sat in, with a few stairs leading up to them, and two kinds of simulator rides (extra fee for the simulators). The museum also has some temporary/rotating exhibits. For example, the Memphis Belle was on display when I went last, along with the AR D-Day experience. Plan for it to take several hours, or even a whole day, depending on how fast or slow you want to go. If you have small children, I recommend bringing a stroller, and if you have limited mobility, I recommend a scooter or a wheelchair if you plan to explore the whole complex at once. Overall, an amazing museum. If you are a military history buff or an aircraft lover, you will love this experience.

I have had the opportunity to visit many airplane museums over the years, but this one has been and continues to be one of my all-time favorites. Their collection is second-to-none and contains many fantastic and beautifully preserved airplanes. If it is safe to do so and if you have some time in western Ohio and have a couple hours to look at some fantastic airplanes in Wilbur and Orville Wright's backyard, this is the place to go!

Unbelievable collection of aircraft history. The air story of our nation is expertly woven together and creatively presented. One of the best museums I have visited anywhere in the world! It was not crowded and there were many volunteers to give expert information and tell stories.
