This is the TOP of the drawer for museums of this type. We have only a slight knowledge of air planes/aircraft, but thoroughly enjoyed visiting this great museum. It is FREE to enter with appropriate charges for movies & simulators. There are plenty of staff & volunteers throughout, places to rest, bathrooms, a couple of places to eat. We spent about 4 hours and that only touched the surface, but we still enjoyed the visit.

Cant like this enough. This is a must see if you are at all interested in aviation or space exploration. Could spend days there. The place is huge!! My wife enjoyed the history represented by the collection of Air Force One planes. The experimental aircraft on display were fascinating. Take good walking shoes, the exhibits are immense.

This place is INCREDIBLE. They've managed to find nearly every aircraft you could imagine in there. From the ME-163 to a B52. I didn't have pay a dime, either. I am very proud of what they're doing here.

My family and I go here every year. You can't ask for a better time, that is for free. We usually leave early to get to the museum by 10 or 11. This gives ample time to go through the museum. Trust me, you'll need all the time you can get. There's so much to see and experience. We love coming to the US Air Force museum.

Easily the best collation of military aircraft in the country. Plan on spending all day to quickly walk through or two days to really look at everything. The new hanger is awesome. Just seeing the XB-70 is worth the drive.

Such a wonderful collection of the great history that is our Airforce. While I was only able to spend a couple of hours there, I will certainly make a point to come back when I am in the area again next year.

The museum is huge and there is a ton of information placards. You can easily spend an entire day here and multiple days if you are a military buff and want to spend time in each area. The museum does a good job at dividing the aircrafts into timeframes and war theatres. I would also recommend taking a tour. The vets here really know their stuff.

Totally amazing and free! Had every plane I could think of and more. Well organized by era. Walk thru the Air Force 1 plane that took Kennedy's body back from Dallas. Drones, jets, ICBM's and biplanes, oh my!

Great museum. Some true highlight exhibits, you could spend days here and not fully experience. Free admission is great, food within is reasonably (if not a little better than) priced for a museum, and the gift shop is fantastic.

There are of course things that could be done to enhance the experience, but it looks like the museum folks are actively working to improve the space.

One of the best museums anywhere. THE best museum if you like airplanes. Free, and you can spend as much time as you want there. You can walk through quickly and be out in a few hours or read everything and admire every plane and need a few days. Highly recommended if you're in the area and if you like airplanes or military history it's definitely worth the trip to Dayton. World class.

I was here when I was younger with my grandparents, and now I was able to come back with my wife and son. This place is bigger than I remember, but not a dull moment. I can't believe we had 5 hours of entertainment for free. If I'm ever in the area again, I will return.
