Great space, and spectacular production value. I think that some of the ushers were volunteers, which is great! However, the training needs to be improved, because when our party ended up being separated because of other patrons sitting in some of our seats. It wasn't a huge deal, but I would have liked to be with my whole group throughout the performance.

Great venue, nice modern building, convenient parking lot. We had a great time at a summer jazz cafe series. Some of the world's top bands! The only let down is the 5 dollar folding chairs in the cafe might work ok for a kids day camp afternoon playdough, but get uncomfortable for a 2-3 hr concert.

We generally love the shows at Two Rivers. Unfortunately, the current show is very weak. Pamala's First Musical feels like fan fiction for Broadway. It may be suitable for younger groups to put on, say at a performing arts camp.

The performers were great, with strong voices and great dancing. It felt like their energies and talents were wasted.

This was Wendy Wasserstein's last show and Cy Colman's last show. I fear that there was too much invested emotionally to let it go.

Every show I have seen at Two River has been amazing. They have produced revivals that have out done original productions. For example, their production of Camelot was inspiring. The the direction was modern and upbeat. The play was multicultural my cast with highly talented actors. The set was smart and beautiful. All productions have been equal to that of Camelot. Two river also has an fantastic education program.

Beautiful facility, but we were annoyed that the restrooms were closed at the end of the performance, which made for an overall unpleasant end of what should have been a pleasant evening. Thank God for WaWa down the street and its open restrooms!

What a little gem! Great architecture / fantastic performance space that helps to anchor the neighborhood. As a newcomer that s been to many plays in NYC, the production/performance for Love in Hate Nation was well done! I truly look forward to seeing more performances at Two River & spending time in Red Bank. All personals were friendly.

Absolutely love this theater! I go every year to watch an August Wilson production and I enjoy it more and more. The staff are friendly, the theater provides a great view no matter what ticket/seating you buy and the actors are amazing.

This is such an awesome community theater. I took my son here to see a musical and signed up for the email list. And I'm glad I did! They host family events and keep you updated on upcoming shows.

Today they had a free event to promote their show Journey to Oz. Many children and families showed up, however it was not at all hectic.

About Two River Theater Co.

Two River Theater Co. is a professional, not-for-profit, regional theater company that has been producing plays and educational programs for audiences of central New Jersey, United States, and beyond since its inception. The company was founded in 1994 by Joan and Dr. Robert M. Rechnitz with the aim of bringing high-quality theater productions to the community.

The Two River Theater Co. is located in Red Bank, New Jersey, and houses two theaters: a 350-seat main stage theater and a 99-seat black box theater. The main stage theater is an impressive space that boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems as well as comfortable seating arrangements for the audience members.

The black box theater is a more intimate space that allows for experimental productions to be staged in an up-close-and-personal setting. This smaller venue provides an opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their talents while also giving audiences a chance to experience unique theatrical performances.

Two River Theater Co.'s mission is to produce exceptional theatrical experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and community engagement through artistic excellence and meaningful conversations with its audience members.

The company's productions are diverse in nature ranging from classic plays like Shakespeare's "Hamlet" or Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" to contemporary works like Christopher Durang's "Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike." Each production features talented actors who bring their characters to life on stage with passion and authenticity.

In addition to producing plays, Two River Theater Co. also offers educational programs designed for students of all ages from kindergarten through college level. These programs include workshops led by professional actors or directors who teach students about acting techniques or playwriting skills while also providing them with opportunities to perform on stage alongside professionals during select productions.

Two River Theater Co.'s commitment to education extends beyond the classroom as well; it offers free pre-show discussions before each performance where audience members can learn more about the play they are about to see from experts in various fields such as history or literature.

Overall, Two River Theater Co.'s dedication towards producing high-quality theatrical experiences coupled with its commitment towards education makes it one of the most respected regional theaters not just in New Jersey but across America too!
