Beautiful venue. Small, so every seat looks great. Beautiful, elegant design. Great acoustics. Red Bank has probably dozens of good places to eat, there's scenic views and it's near the Parkway. What's not to love?

One of the best values and benefits of Central Jersey. Many of their originating shows move on to Broadway. Professional productions with primo talent. Beautiful theater with loads of dining choices within walking distance. Easy parking and only two short blocks from NJ Transit rail station Clearly one of New Jersey's best kept secrets

Loved the tiered seating. There are no bad seats. Play terrific. Nice seating area with tables and chairs before you go in. Homemade goodies for sale. Only problem is limited parking. And it is a major issue.

I saw a play, Ropes, with amazing actors, as part of a trip from my school. I asked a lot of questions, and I actually had the experience to meet the actors, which was very valuable. The educational staff was very nice. It was pleasant also because I am a senior in high school and I am still introduced to new things.

About Two River Theater Co.

Two River Theater Co. is a professional, not-for-profit, regional theater company that has been producing plays and educational programs for audiences of central New Jersey, United States, and beyond since its inception. The company was founded in 1994 by Joan and Dr. Robert M. Rechnitz with the aim of bringing high-quality theater productions to the community.

The Two River Theater Co. is located in Red Bank, New Jersey, and houses two theaters: a 350-seat main stage theater and a 99-seat black box theater. The main stage theater is an impressive space that boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems as well as comfortable seating arrangements for the audience members.

The black box theater is a more intimate space that allows for experimental productions to be staged in an up-close-and-personal setting. This smaller venue provides an opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their talents while also giving audiences a chance to experience unique theatrical performances.

Two River Theater Co.'s mission is to produce exceptional theatrical experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and community engagement through artistic excellence and meaningful conversations with its audience members.

The company's productions are diverse in nature ranging from classic plays like Shakespeare's "Hamlet" or Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" to contemporary works like Christopher Durang's "Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike." Each production features talented actors who bring their characters to life on stage with passion and authenticity.

In addition to producing plays, Two River Theater Co. also offers educational programs designed for students of all ages from kindergarten through college level. These programs include workshops led by professional actors or directors who teach students about acting techniques or playwriting skills while also providing them with opportunities to perform on stage alongside professionals during select productions.

Two River Theater Co.'s commitment to education extends beyond the classroom as well; it offers free pre-show discussions before each performance where audience members can learn more about the play they are about to see from experts in various fields such as history or literature.

Overall, Two River Theater Co.'s dedication towards producing high-quality theatrical experiences coupled with its commitment towards education makes it one of the most respected regional theaters not just in New Jersey but across America too!
