Twisted Palms Lodge and Restaurant by Zanzibar One Ltd Review

Accommodation for 3 stars, shower and toilet for 2, restaurant good but what is so wonderful it is the beach which with a bit of luck, and we had it will be just yours.

Nice view. Good service. I have visited in restaurant only.

Kept on going back. Unpretentious with lovely staff and food.

Good kitchen. Reasonable prices. There are seafood. Great view of the ocean, admiring which you can drink a bottle of beer under the lobster or shrimp ....

Normal deuce (troika), good owner, helped with renting a car and in other matters, helpful staff, good food at reasonable prices :) Resting in November 2016 Cleaning is regular and fighting insects)) Zlatko organized us the guys who accompanied us on the local disco, it was interesting,)

Great place, feet in the water. Clean rooms, personal and very welcoming bosses. Very good restaurant! I advise for those looking for calm and want to relax!

Just what we wanted, beautiful beach, great fresh food, friendly staff.

Nice grilled fish and good location out on the beach for the restaurant. Didn't stay in the guest house.

Disappointing.

On the plus side, good location - right on the beach. The area is quiet and laid-back - much less touristy than nearby Paje - but there's still a few places around to eat, lounge or have a drink

For the rest, we stayed for four nights, and the staff were not planning on changing our towels even once. When we asked for two fresh towels, it was apparently mission impossible. So was getting a cold bottle of water. Or cleaning the tables at breakfast. Basic stuff. Overall, the staff don't care at all, and the property is poorly maintained and doesn't get the care it needs. Staff would rather sit on their phones all day than fix the broken beach chairs, stock the fridge, or any of the million other fixes/improvements they could be making. From the other reviews, we get the impression that things might be better when the European owners are around, but we gather this is pretty rare these days. So I wouldn't take the chance and definitely avoid!

There's much better options nearby, at the same cost or cheaper.

Great position, clean, sleeping with sound of waves, beach perfect with sand like flour. Food tasty and fresh. All stuff-crew in command of Capt. Zlatko will make your vacation perfect. Big thanks for them

As the hotel is not familiar with this place .. because their restaurant is the best as for me cuisine with seafood .. the owner of the institution Ivan from Croatia is not hypocrisy with the visitors. The kind person .. always made concessions. In different situations) the prices are quite adequate .. for 20-30 dollars a couple can be excellent dinner)

If you want the real Zanzibar experience, this is the right place. The bungalow is right at the beach with a nice little restaurant and a lounge area. The staff is very polite and professional. And the food, omg soo good, fresh from the sea. I really enjoyed the intimacy of this place. Only thing that bothered me is bathroom with no door, only a curtain. If you are expecting a 5 star accomodation, then this isn't a place for you.

Its a good place dat you can enjoy and feel good all the time, good and delicious food and nice people. I really like this place.

The resort is located in a beautiful and quiet place. The ocean is close in the afternoon. White, fine sand beach.
Accommodation in a simple style. They take care of cleanliness by example. The food is absolutely luxurious. Sometimes something happens, but it is necessary to approach it according to local possibilities. It's just Africa. It's complicated with the goods, but it's even more comfortable.

The resort is picturesque, nicely located, the houses on the beach are better, there is no heat like the pool. Minor reconstruction would not hurt, but how much time you spend in the house ... To sleep and basic needs is enough. What I would like to highlight is the local cuisine and staff. Meals great, tasty and especially always fresh and deliciously flavored. Staff amazing, young, friendly people, all very nice, helpful, funny. Just like Chady's manager (I don't know how the name is written, we called him Ched). A little problem is the ocean, which is usable for swimming only at certain times when there is no outflow. And this changes over the months and weeks. However, even this does not let this amazing stay be poisoned. If that is possible on my part, I'll be back here as soon as possible.

Bomb Operator 10/10 Rooms 9.5 / 10 Food 9/10 Just because two days there was only 3 meals to choose from but it was also possible to survive :-) Cheap trips from Bruno and Lion and believe that they will get everything completely all Zanzibar is hakunamatata (all fine). I recommend.

The most pleasant place on Zanzibar ... for every recommendation ... food excellent, staff friendly ... intimate atmosphere and we'll be back ...
