I was given an appointment today at 11am. I showed up at 1030am and waiting 2.5 hours for them to take my car back. After just over another hour they tell me that they couldn't find anything wrong with my car but maybe I would need a thermostat if the issue continues to come back. They were going to charge me 65.00 but after I asked what about the fact I've waited 4 hours today they decided not to charge me. I was highly upset as I just spent 124.00 at this place 2 weeks ago for new brakes. I've went there with both of my cars in the past and I felt this is the worst experience there I have ever had. Like I told them when they sarcastically told me to have a good day...my whole day is gone now. Thank you for getting me in last minute, but after this experience I won't be back. And I'm sure I obviously won't be missed as their customers time is not of value.

I went to Twin County Tire & Auto to have a transmission pan gasket replaced and the price started out at $150.00 then ended up being $220.00. First, my reason for taking the Jeep there was because I could not remove the sealant, not a gasket, that was on it (7+years owning it) and it was in serious need of filter and fluid change. Well when I got it back the muffler pipe was rattling very bad were it needed to be removed so the mechanic could get to the pan and he just left it hanging loosely because he said the clamps were broken. Didn't rattle before :-( Now it isn't even in place, so it makes an awful noise with exhaust fuses getting inside. Also was told it will still leak because the corners were bent when someone removed it before. FYI, if it was removed before I would not have needed to pay someone to remove it in the first place. I not only lost fluid but had to repair the leak myself. Which ended up being a stripped drain plug because he used a power tool instead of hand tightening. All in all I say DO NOT waste your money taking your vehicle to this place because it will cost you more having it done right!

Asked for a front end alignment. Picked up the car and was charged for a 4 wheel alignment. When I asked why they said well it needed it so we did it. I had to pay for work I didn t ask to be done in the first place.

My car needed a jump start and I was next door. An employee here was kind enough to give me a boost for free. Very kind and helpful. This kind of stuff will make me think about coming back here if I needed services.

Good service and repairs. They've had opportunities to be dishonest and try to take advantage. But have always chosen the high road. I personally have nothing but good things to say so far in my experiences.

Very helpful and courteous. We had a flat tire on our RV while traveling and they ordered us a tire and replaced it the next morning quickly. They revealed the tire was faulty or put on rim incorrectly, so we'll be able to put in a claim against the warranty.

Good, honest guys who charge fair prices for their work. Good automotive electricians are hard to find, but if you need it, they provide the best auto electric work in the Twin Counties.

I no longer live in Galax but take my car to Twin County when I m in town visiting and it needs serviced. Travis and Zach are always so helpful to me and my family. They are professional, kind, and always accommodating to my schedule. I would recommend Twin County Tire to anyone in the area or traveling to Galax. They are fantastic!

Had a tire blow out at night in the middle of a 7 hour road trip. Called twin county tire the next morning and they had me back going in 30 minutes.

Had my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 front end alignment done here. Complete front end rebuild just done so it needed an alignment. They did a terrible job I don t even think they did anything. Truck pulls to the left and the steering wheel is sideways. Called and they said they would have the mechanic call me back . This was about 3 months ago I only drive the truck maybe once every 2 weeks or so. I called about 2 weeks after the alignment was done because it was the first time I actually drove the truck more than 2 miles. Would not recommend.

There's no use of setting a appointment up with these people. My appointment was at 11 o'clock as what I was told on the phone when I scheduled it. Then I show up at 11 o'clock and they tell me it was at 9 o'clock. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to these people. The employer's act like they don't want to do anything, and then they have enough decency to ask to reschedule it. You can't even keep the one I did schedule what's the use of another one!

Be aware poor service!

I took a truck and trailer in to have the wires in the plug fixed. The bill was $67.00. I was charged $6.00 for two .25 cent fuses and $5.00 for shop supplies. I was not given an answer when I asked what shop supplies where used?

Many years ago Twin County Tire charged me $25.00 for the same thing and I was happy to pay it.

I won't go back.

They were the only place in town that I could find my tire in stock. They have been good for emergencies over the past few years for me!

Was told they can hold my car until it passed inspection... 19VAC30-70-60. Rejection Stickers says nothing about being able to hold someones property. That is illegal please read up on your statues before telling people this.

Bob is a great asset to your company, as he made sure everything was up to specs before we left, including the spare tire.
