Tussey Mountain Ski Resort Review

So much fun to ski and just relax and have fun with the family.

Nice little ski slope. 5 minutes away from State College. Last few years weather was not cooperating. But when it's snows it's really fun place to be.

Clean and respectful staff. Great experience. Attended wings fest here which was a blast!

I went to see the movie in the mountain, it was Moana. Food and drinks were cheaper than expected but the turnout was much, much more than we expected. If you go to this make sure you bring chairs if you want to see over everyone.

Good spot for a quick ski. Not out west, but friendly, and convenient. Good slope!

Tussey Mountain wing fest was a great event. Good food, drinks and live music. Will definitely be attending a few more weeks this year!

I was allowed go down a tube course that already had someone get injured and I ended up with a concussion

Very good place to ski, golf, go racing, its just very fun and in a good area

I stopped to see if I could access a local ham radio repeater nearby. It turns our that I learned that the repeater was directly behind me.

The location was really beautiful. We were right next to a lake and there were some boats and life jackets to do boating. It had a little space with swings for children. Will recommend.

Very small mountain in a very populous college city, only went because it was $5.

Compact area that offers skiing and boarding near State College. Friendly staff, has a snack area that serves burgers, fries, pizza, chili, chicken fingers and other snacks. Ski conditions were good today. Also offer some night skiing. Not an upscale resort but small, friendly and well maintained.

Small but they have some great specials. I've never had to wait for the lift there. The bar at the bottom is decent, and even has Rusty Rail beer on tap right now

Great place to ski, but it's not a large resort by any means, but it's fairly cheap at least. Could use more trails and more snow machines on some of their smaller trials. Lions Run is never open unless we get a large amount of natural snow in the area because they don't make snow on that trail. Although lookout for the ski shop inside the lodge, right inside the main entrance, they aren't owned by Tussey and everything is WAY overpriced.

Great facility and fun place to take family and friends! Lots of activities available from par 3 golf to go karts. Great place to hold events too.

Played the short par 3 golf course and it was very fun. Not many people and for $15 that can t really be beat. Greens could use some work but for $15 I wasn t excepting much. Great bored at home activity.

Friendly service. Good place to visit with the kids.

A nice skate park, mini golf course, batting cages and a Par 3 with driving range. It also has a small go cart track. Staff was friendly.

Tussey Mountain swap sale this weekend as always lots of gear at good prices.

Id give 0 stars if I could. Placed an order...waited an hour. It was never put in. Left hungry

Normally a decent experience. However, we came today, March 19, 2017. The mountain is covered in snow but it is posted that the snow tubing is closed for the season. What is not posted anywhere near where you purchase your lift tickets is that none of the beginner trails are open. So after purchasing lift tickets and rentals, we were disappointed to find that not all of us could ski/snowboard due to the fact that some can only use the beginner trails. When I went to ask why this wasn't posted near the counter where you purchase lift tickets I was treated very rudely by the man behind the counter, as well as an older "gentleman" (I use the term loosely) who came into the ticket area. So as far as customer service goes, from these two individuals, it is severely lacking.

Has alot of great events like Wingfest and movie on the Mt.

A nearby place for some family adventures all-year round. You could almost find a special event every single day.

I had a really great visit here with family. We went mini golfing, go karting and we hit golf balls. To do all of that was not very expensive at all. It was totally worth it for all of the fun we had.

Awesome spot all year around. The colder months offer winter activities with concerts, hiking, go carts, and much more when its warm. If you want a relaxing stroll to unwind or an adventure, this is a good place to start!

Wing Fest. 5 restaurants compete each week with a winner at the end of summer with total votes. 2 - $1 tickets get you three wings. Beer wagons, live music, wine and mixed drinks. Other foods available. $5 to get in. Drinks and other food extra. Great bands each week!!

Wing fest was good, kinda pricey for wings 3 wings for $2. Lines can be long but not much can be done about that.

Update: In response to the owners comment: Champs- $0.50 per wing on wing night, just to name one. Obviously if you go on a non wing night it will be more. However, I would view Wing Fest a type of "wing night"

Not a super hill, but 25 dollar lift tickets for March

It was awesome snow tubing was so fun 5/5 it awesome I really recommend you try snow tubing I love the fire in the ski building it so awesome thank you so much for the passes

Learned to ski here years ago. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Great place. Not just skiing. They have par 3 golf , driving range,mini golf, batting cages, skate park,go carts, catered events, concerts,wing fest and more

It was a breath taking night under the stars to watch a movie with good friends and family. Highly recommend investing some time at this venue.

I went to a community event at Tussey Mountain. The grounds we're nicely kept.

Got married at Tussey and I could not be happier with the staff and venue. They are truly dedicated to their clientele! Christie Hume is a godsend. She was easy to work with, very accommodating and a load of fun to work with. The end result was a beautiful venue, well executed, and absolutely tasty food!!!! Could not be happier and would do it all again in an instant. Best part, I got to ride a go cart in my wedding dress and ride a ski lift as well!!!!! It does not get better than that!

My kids love this mountain. It is what we have in town and I am grateful about it.
If you buy the season pass before the end of May, you could say up to 100 dollars.

My kids love to go to the skate park and mini golf/go-karts. A great way to spend a fun family afternoon.

Fun on the snow tubing slope. Third lane was super fast! Go early for a better price and shorter lines.

Great Bar, they have a small mountain but tried so hard to overcome the lack of snow in the winter of 2020. They made it work.

Was there for Oktoberfest and the only thing to do was wait in line for overpriced food and drinks.

Good service and deals, small mountain with generally poor snow

For a beginner like me it is a perfect place to learn ski. I have come here for a couple of times to do a little of ski with my daughter. She has picked it up very fast but not me. This time I feel a little confident and hopefully, I can do higher slope next year.

Went for Oktoberfest, was a great time! Food, drinks, music were all very well organized. The staff were very helpful, and very organized as well!

Fun place. My son learned to ski here but place needs remodeling and cleaning up.
