We went on Saturday and it was hot, paid $50+ with 2 toddlers
Generally, it's not worth the money we paid, most of the animals were not in showing places and we moved too much around to find something to show our children.
Maybe if the weather is nicer you could see anything worth paying for.
Also, I didn't know that you pay for every member and it's not like most of the entertainment places that you pay for the children only.
But, there is a nice playing area with 2 slides and 1 tube for your little kids.

They did a good job encouraging social distancing and most were respectful of your space. Everyone was aware when we were waiting to view and would not take too long before moving on. Plenty of places to step off to the side when you need to rest.

It is a very nice zoo,BUT,a few flaws! First off,you get charged an additional $2 per adult in off-season!? Which is strange cause you do NOT get to see the giraffe's cause they are indoors ! Also a few other animals are away for the winter season ,but if you pay for a tour ,then you could go indoors to see the giraffe's!? So i said ok only to be told that my 2yr old is to young for the tour but was told by an EMPLOYEE there that they had a 1yr old the week prior? Also ,eat before you get there cause there is nothing open in winter season except hot chocolate !

Needs a better restaurants . And fix the turtles exhibit it's sad. The zoo was way to over crowded. Theres no organization . The entrance it's not actually guarded so you can go in and no one will ask for a ticket . The safari cars are 7 dollars but there a lot a round you can take one free. The cafe it's a disaster the pizza was bad the lines are uncoordinated the place was to dark and you can actually go get free refills no one notice. Yep even food . Managment need to fix it or poor animals will suffer cause the money ots not getting in and over the years will affect the zoo animals and employees . Over all the zoo aspect it's good. The ponies are sad sad dont let people ride them thats sad.

One of the best zoos in the area. It is a spacious zoo with lots of animals to see for kids and adults. There is also an open fun train that families with kids can take and it goes around the mini lake just a bit outside the zoo. Pretty pleasant views there. There is also a cafe with food if needed. It can be a bit crowded but if you don't mind it or can pick a better time option for your family to visit, totally worth the trip. My fav is the cave with wolves. Hard to look at the animals in cages but they are treated with love there and I understand that this zoo also serves and educational purpose.

My 3.5 year old loved it! It's a large zoo with Lots to see. We has some lines for experiences but nothing so long that he got too bored (Thursday afternoon, 2021 March).
Pandemic: No snacks, couldn't find a place toget drinks, outside of the restaurant. Couldn't pet at the petting zoo. Touch Tank was open but we didn't try that one. Would definitely go back.

We visited in early July (reserved a 12pm spot to enter the Zoo) and it was a great experience! The park was not packed but staff did a great job helping guests maintain with the social distancing regulations put in place. We ended up doing the train as soon as we walked in to the park and it was a very short wait.

This is a wonderful zoo! Clean and well kept. It s a nice size- not too big but not tiny either. The train is a nice touch and was one of my kids favorite things. (Plus the train is included in your admission!)

A good zoo that has a bunch of animals that are up close, in your face, with clear viewing windows. Weekends are busy, but they have overflow parking with a trolley. Bring dollar bills for extra activities like feeding the giraffes or the butterfly exhibit. Plenty of areas to eat with tables. The whole zoo can be walked in about 2 hours, unless you take your time at exhibits.

Loved it, I hadn't been here in about 8 years and I loved the updates! Still as much fun now at 18 as it was then. I also love the sea turtle rehab facility and the sting ray touch tank. Definitely going to buy a membership soon.

Great small zoo for kids they have many common animals people want to look at and even when I went in the rain during coronavirus I was able to see all the animals minus a few acceptions in only an hour and a half.

I love this place. You can totally go though the whole place in 3 hours if you really wanted. They change it up with certain things added. The park is always very clean and there is a lot to see. It's very kid friendly. The animals seem to be taken care of really well.

Great spot for a day trip, it's large enough to have some neat exhibits, and small enough so you aren't exhausted at the end of the day.

They have an amazing sloth in the reptile house who is very active. He was the highlight of my trip.

I go to this zoo because it s local and my 2 yr old enjoys seeing the animals and going on the carousels. My only setback is some of the animals look a little slim and they always look like why are you here!

My family enjoyed the layout and sections of the zoo. Everything was very organized and clean. We would have liked it more if there were more animals and exhibits; the fish, reptiles, and amphibians were very short walkthroughs.

I've been going to Turtleback for several years with my kids (now 4 and 6). It's always a great day out. There is plenty to see without being overwhelmed and the staff is knowledgeable and kind.

It's a nice local zoo, great place to bring kids. They also have more adult-themed events such as Brew at the Zoo occasionally. Never had a bad time here, although it can get crowded on nice days.

Great place to spent time with Family. Need to book tickets online (although I did see people standing in line to get tickets). Closes at 4. Better go right once you enter the Zoo. Have insect repellent spray handy as the place is filled with yellow jacket. Also plan ahead you have waterfront nearby which is open till 7:30. There is a nice play area for kids near the waterfront.
