Nice concept, choice of discs coming out a bit from what we can usually see

Solid selection of hip hop and rap, experimental and movie soundtracks. Staff isn't great, but their bundles are exceptionally priced.

Good service, tight shop. Prices are a bit high, but whatever, service makes up for it.

Great environment. Workers were friendly and helpful. Music playing sounded great. Was visiting from out of town and this was easily my favorite. Would highly recommend

I traveled 10,000 km. To buy capsules and the generous catalog offered online. I had NOTHING. In addition, the employee seemed more interested in seeing the fret to the girl who was checking the punts than in giving me a ball. A disappointment of the size of the route from Buenos Aires to NYC !!!

a brilliant and very clean place. record stores often turn out to be dark and dirty, as if the music should not be taken care of and ordered. but it doesn't have to be that way. this shop indeed no! they have a nice choice of turntables and speakers, plus a few dj headphones, mixers and digital instruments. there is a little bit of everything in the vinyl department. especially some rarities that are difficult to find

Coolest record store in the WORLDDD!!! Been a fan since 2002 and still am!! Friendly and knowledgable staff. Dunno why anyone would give them a bad review. They prob went to some other store and thought it was Turntable Lab. Haters gonna hate i guess.

The experience here was dope, nice cool selection of vinyl and gear for the DJ or audiophile/ turntable user. Customer service was great, staff seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I d definitely shop here again.

This is where you go for high end or designer record gear. The staff is world class in knowledge and the products are top of the line. Less of a fun place to dig for old records and more like a pristine museum of turntablism

Always on point. New store is gorgeous. Parking is not too bad now. Selection is always one of the best in Manhattan as far as hip hop goes. Can't honestly speak about other genres since I haven't bought any other at that store. I've bought MANY classics off the shelf that I have t seen anywhere else except online. Staff is super friendly. They try and help best they can. I give the place 5 stars. I def dig all around Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. This is in my top 5.

Very disappointed with my second interaction (the first was to buy a phono amp online) - I called looking for advice from the "knowledgeable staff." I told the phone answerer guy I want help with a new table and would pay for their consultation and solution. I made it clear nothing was broken, I just am not satisfied with the sound. The phone guy's response was to tell me he had a "lot of cartridges. I can show you the specs and you can buy one." Not helpful in the least. Very disappointing, in fact, from a store calling itself the Turntable Lab. I didn't bother mentioning I bought the phono preamp from them, as he clearly has no interest in helping me get better sound from my 'table. I'm only bothering to post this in the hope that he is the anomaly and someone at Turntable Lab who believes in customer service will see this and reply so I can get the help and sound I'm looking for. Otherwise, I can't see a reason not to return the phono preamp and go to another store. Fortunately, there is a selection of conventional stereo shops and other turntable focused shops who might actually want my money.

Bought a great set up from TTL. Unfortunately 2-3 months in the motor to the record player broke. It s been over two weeks of emailing without anyone calling or resolving the issue after spending a decent amount of money on the turntable. Disappointed in their customer service to say the least. Would not recommend dealing with them.

Great selection of new wax, tables and accessories.

Ran into the turntable lab for some last-minute RCA cables I needed for a gig. One of the associates Zephyr a who is also a DJ was super helpful and I was able to be in and out and within a few minutes

My main reason for visiting was to browse and purchase records, therefore, I am cannot comment on turntables and other peripherals though the range looked extensive and well presented.

As for the records, genres clearly marked and marked at affordable prices (averaging between $17.95 to $19.95). The bargain/second hand section although small is definitely worth taking a look at. I was given a discount due to the volume of records I was purchasing (expect the ones from the bargain section but cannot complain given the two I was purchasing were $10 each ). You can also listen to records before purchasing though for sealed items you will need to ask the staff first.

Staff appear friendly though I would have liked some more interaction which would have made the shopping experience more wholesome. I recall one member of staff who was checking records back and forth on the shop floor and could not help but feel I was getting in his way!

Minor quibble aside, I would certainly visit again.

Just been to NYC and wished I knew TTableLab were on the doorstep as would've loved to see the store. Ordered Gorillaz Demon Days LP from the UK (always wanted this on vinyl!) and it arrived in super speedy time. Had contact with these guys a couple of times and seen exemplary service each time. Will have no hesitation ordering from you again in future - superb record shop, hope you continue to thrive on such excellent service

The Manhattan store is closed. Please consider before trekking into the city, because I saw nothing about this while planning my trip. Disappointed.

This place....great for turntables, DJ accessories, vinyl, listening stations. Service is great and location is good for social too! Every time I go I dream of becoming a world star DJ

this place is your discogs want list manifested, such a nicely curated collection. and they have tons of vinyl accoutrements, speakers / players / headphones, & cool little audio synths and gadgets too. not super crate diggy as it's mostly new releases, but still 100% worth a stop if not for music then to beef up your setup

Come for the turntables, stay for the record collection. Clean, classy space with free listening and a nice assortment of techie goods

Great selection mostly new vinyl. Not a HUGE selection, but decent. The store itself, the vibe and the staff, make up for it. You're always bound to find something cool here.

Sent me a damaged record. Post office labeled it as being received damaged and they refuse to send a replacement with a return label. I've waited since Feb already and they expect me to pay return shipping and wait even longer. Poor customer service...

Very little choice. I was looking for the last of Bruce Springsteen but nothing. I asked him for another one but neither did that. mah

I bought a record player/speakers and had issues with the sound. I went back to the shop to get some guidance and when I continued to struggle, Ivan offered to stop by my place and take a look. Within 5 minutes, he fixed everything. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Helpful staff helped answer all of my questions and concerns with equipment. Good mix of vinyl to shop through too!

Excellent selection of records and equipment. Knowledgeable but not pretentious staff. Seems like a great store for enthusiasts and is a great store for more recreational vinyl listeners like myself.

Brought me back a lot of memories when I was digging...bit I must warn you...the place is pretty pricey...be prepare to bring paycheck with you.

I tend to come for their selection of deep house music. I truly love this place they possess a knowledgeable staff. They have the gambit of genres. They have a good selection of vinyl whether rarities, reprints or new. They approach The late producer Jdilla. That within itself is respect. The pics are from a 2016 visit, I've been back sooner tho. I just purchased better turntables recently. I wish I had them than. I would've got that stark reality vinyl. A great place. I think I'll go 2morro

Decent but medium-sized selection, fun record store day events, and a great place to view turntables before purchasing. I've spent way, way too much money here, and proudly wore my TTL black tote throughout the city.

So it was jarring when the staff lifted my TTL RSD tote with my laptop off my shoulder, without asking, and giving me a tag to pick it up later. I looked around, and every other shopper still had their tote or backpack. I'd been singled out! Nothing leaves a worse taste in my mouth than being targeted for suspected theft, especially after having been a repeat customer. I go to a record store as much for recommendations and good vibes than anything else, and TTL is no longer that place.

I haven't made it to their store, but ordering a new turntable through their online store worked out great! Fast shipping through FedEx and I'm delightfully spinning as I type this review. The only improvement I would suggest is that they give their online consumers a heads up email when something has shipped.

Staff was about as joyful and pleasant to share a room with as a socially retarded high school student and about as knowledgable as a pretentious teenage girl that read an Ayn Rand book for the first time in her life. I would not visit the turntable lab for practical advice on anything related to vinyl if it were the last record store in the city. I suggest you pick out your records and leave, the people here are complete snobs.

Friendly staff, nice selection with a wide variety. Equipment is sold here as well which is nice.
