Turf Valley Resort Conference Center & Day Spa Review

Wonderful experience. I was there for a wedding and they were very accomadating to the size of the wedding.

I went here for a conference. The meeting room was large enough and acoustics were fine for everyone to hear. The food was pretty good but would have preferred buffet style for more options. It was an overall good experience.

My son got hired here...great opportunities!!! He has autism!

Very nice venue. We're looking forward to our company meeting/retreat next month.

I attended a conference here and the venue, food, and service were great! I especially LOVED the desserts.

Wonderful evening at the grill. Had hummus and their citrus shrimp. Great setting overlooking the practice green.

This review is solely for my dining experience.

Food: My soup was underwhelming. Tastes like frozen, reheated food, rather than made from fresh vegetables as stated. Or maybe it was overcooked. The potato wedges were too salty
Atmosphere: It was nice
Staff: I came near closing and my waitress was visibly rude about serving me and a friend. Her manager/someone in charge told her to serve our table, and she groaned loudly before stalking to our table and putting on a fake smile. We could clearly see her previous facial expression (she wasn t even discreet about it). Ruined the whole meal.
Price: A little pricey for how average the meal was

Came back here for mother's day brunch to commemorate it being where my father who passed away recently took my Mom last year. The food selection was ok, but the tables were sticky and the wait staff said it was because of a citrus based cleaner they were using, the floor was even sticky, & the dishes had crusty bits of food still stuck to them. We won't be coming here again, it's unfortunate, I was hoping for a good experience.

The rooms were nice but the amenities given to the event were severely lacking

This is a really nice hotel and golf resort. Clean, updated rooms and great service.

We we're here for a work event of about 600 people. I was one of the volunteers from our organization who helped organize the event. The staff were spectacular and reacted quickly to our swiftly adjusting needs. We had one room turn over 3 times in one day and they did such a good job of it that one of our employees publicly recognized them. The food was good and never empty. The staff was responsive when guests asked questions. For those that stayed overnight the accommodations we're lovely.

The grounds at Turf Valley are gorgeous, the staff is very helpful and pleasant, the decor and banquet rooms look great. Most of the food was good, but some things were a little bland. At first, the Terrace room smells a little musky, but it isn't overbearing and you get used to it. Overall, it was a great place for a large company event and would go there again.

The first room was not clean. We were moved to another room with a handicap shower unlike first room we had. Samuel was nice about moving our stuff 2 times. We should have received complimentary room for our inconvenience. Clearly they are not sanitizing rooms appropriately. There was nothing marked to indicate room had been sanitized with COVID19 still in effect. Nakeisha was great customer service. Since first room was unclean I sanitized our room additionally brought our own sheets and towels and disinfecting stuff for furniture and entire room.

My bridal shower too place at Alexandra's Sunday brunch. The private room and coffee station we lovely, and brunch was great!

Attended a special event here and gotta say I wasn't very impressed with this place. The food was average at best. The appatizers were below average. The wait staff was ok but the folks at the bar obviously wanted to be somewhere else. I would like to give the 2.5 and think three stars is a reach. I would definatly not recommend Turf Valley.

Beautiful place with wonderful food & a great staff!

Terrible place. We were woken up multiple times in the nights by drunks yelling in the hall. One time they pulled a fired alarm and we all had to leave. The hotel made no attempt to do anything about it or make good with the other guests and just said "Some things are beyond our control."

This place is warm and inviting. The bedrooms are very large and the Jacuzzi tub is the best!

I stay here every year with friends in May. Is a love place. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the restaurant is amazing and the staff couldn't be more friend!

Turf valley is fantastic. I mostly use the indoor saltwater pool. It's great.

Attended a work conference, gorgeous grounds and nice facilities and wish I could've taken advantage of them more. Service was all fine as well. Good experience all around.

This is my go-to spa for my deep tissue massages. Such a calm atmosphere, and I haven t had a single masseuse that I haven t absolutely loved. I ve been going here for about 8 years, and have consistently had wonderful experiences

Very, very efficient staff, delightful. And. As a vendor who provides theme decor, they were most accommodating.

I attended a wedding expo at Turf Valley and they did a great job with the layout, food and service. My fiance and I had a wonderful time.

This resort should have a warning label on their website that you will not get any rest! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing get away, look elsewhere! It would have been quieter in Vegas! There is no insulation so you can hear everything going on next door and the doors all slam so loudly you can hear when everyone on the floor is coming and going. We got very little sleep due to inconsiderate guests partying and screaming all night. We even switched rooms to get away from a crew of drunken 20 year olds next door but didn't make out much better anyway. So, it's not family friendly or quiet, but got 2 stars for the amenities. Will NOT be staying again!!

I attended the Howard County Chamber's Annual Meeting. Turf Valley always does a great job, good service and lunch was tasty!

It's a beautiful location, and the staff is always helpful. Golfing is great, and it's close to home for me.

I found the resort to be very accommodating. Beds were comfortable, the wedding staff was great.

We love coming here for a staycation. My kids love the indoor and outdoor pool and having food served to them. I enjoy coming to the spa for a massage or facial.

I've never had such a pleasant experience anywhere else in my life. My friend brought me here for a Christmas present and we had such a wonderful time. Jessica did my body treatment and was very kind and respectful and made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing and was so sweet. Sun did my facial treatment and was very knowledgeable and told me everything she was using and what they were good for, and then gave me a facial map afterwards for what I should use in my own face routine! I don't have enough good things to say about this spa, everyone working there is very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up and 5 stars hands down.

Food is good, but service is left wanting. Some servers are excellent. Others, you can find better servers at your local McDonald's.

The loop trail is NOT a loop. The food has been excellent though!

I attended a wedding event this weekend. Everything was well put together, the food was fantastic and the staff were ever present, helpful and unobtrusive.

Very comfortable rooms. Terrific, easy to use wifi. Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Stellar grounds to walking and jogging.

Fan-freaking-tastic. Would be happy to come back for any sort of occasion.

Attended a wedding here. Lovely location with ample parking, and the hotel rooms were very nice.

Beautiful hotel, amenities. Conference room was well lit, clean, food was delicious. Lobby and pool area were lovely.
Signage and direction were a bit confusing. Wasnt sure I was in the right place at first, but did easily find where I was going. Security is next to nil, tho. No one asked me why i was there, no one checked IDs. Felt like I could have simply walked in and started using amenities without answering to anyone. Was a lovely day for a meeting and cookout, tho.

We went here for a wedding. The decor is good but I would compare the food to that from a high school cafeteria.

I had probably the best steak I've ever eaten, and the plates looked amazing. There was a live pianist, and the atmosphere was wonderful. With that being said, it was very easy for my wife and I to spend over $100 without really trying, and I'm not sure it was really worth that much.

Very nice resort and golf club. We recorded a wedding here today and the grounds were kept well. The food was great also. Very nice time with friends and family today. All the best

There's no direct ramp to roll luggage and bags. The front desk staff weren't friendly. The rooms are out dated. Small televisons, no refrigerators or microwaves in the room. I was in Room 324 and discovered bugs in bed (submitted photo for proof). There was ear wax on one set of sheets. I was moved to another out dated room with one single apology nor an upgrade -- just keys to the room across the hall. I would avoid this place because the standard holiday inn has more amenities than here.
