Great place to be!! They have plenty of indoor and outdoor attractions for keeping cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Love the misters and water fountains but I do wish there were more of them. There's almost none after the front entrance and before the kingdom

Love the attention to endangered species and doing the best they can with newer exhibits to give the animals s more natural habitat. Zoo keepers were friendly and fill if interesting information. Also nice to see do many ways to learn about the animals, not just see them.

I was really impressed with my recent visit to the Tulsa zoo. They have renovated some of the exhibits and it appears as if they plan on renovating more or at least plan on it the near future. This is great for the Tulsa zoo. Maybe even expanding the the park and updating the transit system would be a great addition. I gave it 4 stars considering the zoo just hit its 90th anniversary and is starting to slowly but surely come alive again. Once it's fully renovated and feels like we have one of the top zoo's in our region, I will gladly give it 5 stars. Keep up the upgrades!

Great place for singles or families to visit. They keep remodeling and improving the animal's enclosures. Get the annual pass saves money and helps support the improvements of the zoo. The pass can be used at the OKC zoo as well.

First time at this zoo with my family. We really enjoyed it! Alot of different animals to see plus more. I like how they have exhibits inside so you can cool down from being outside. Also the sidewalks are in shaded areas at times, so that makes it nice. We got to watch the sea otter show ! It was cute ! The zoo is a good size. Not too little, not to big.

ONLY 40% OF ANIMALS WERE THERE AND IT'S NO SMOKING PERIOD.
I would've chosen another place to go yesterday if I would've known that they didn't have most of their animals. They should atleast tell you before you buy your ticket that almost all the animals aren't actually there. Most of the coolest animals weren't even there. The other thing was that they brag about having 85 acres of park, but they can't a quarter acre for a smoking area? That sucks. It was pretty much a waste of time, looking at a bunch of empty cages and having nicotine fits. I'm glad I didn't just drive to Tulsa to go to the zoo or I would've been severely disappointed. I should've just saved my time and money and played the games at the bass pro shop there.

I brought my kid here for Hallo-zoo-een. It was packed and we waited in line for about an hour and a Half. It was dark so the animals weren't out and we walked the trail for candy. If you go for the event I recommend getting there very early because finding a parking spot is difficult and if you're not a member you will stand in a long line waiting.

I grew up in Tulsa so have been to the zoo a zillion times. Whenever I feel bored or need a mental lift, or time for thoughts, I go take a pleasant stoll through the zoo. I leave with a smile and problems don't seem so big. The animals are great and exercise is good for the soul.

Tulsa zoo is a great place to take the family, especially if you purchase a family pass for the year and go multiple times, which is the most cost effective way. You can spend all day at the zoo before you've seen everything. Very clean, and most of the zoo relatively modern. It's a very popular place so it gets busy over breaks and weekends.

The construction makes the zoo nearly unable to navigate. Additionally my wife was pregnant and thirsty and we could not found a wager fountain anywhere. I will amend my review when the construction is complete.

I love this zoo! There are some zoos that are so spread out you just can't walk it all in one day. This zoo has all the animals other zoos have but its laid out in such a way that there isn't quite as much walking. There are llaenty of buildings to get in out of the sun and there's a huge playground. There's a petting zoo, a train, and a really nice merry go round.

I go to this zoo all the time and would recommend it to anyone.

The zoo itself was awesome. The exhibits that were actually open were, anyway.he train wasnt working and after waiting a half an hour, with a very road long trip back to Missouri in front of us, we asked for our 40+ $ in train ticckets to be refunded. She said that she could not and they were good anytime. We showed her drivers license showing we are mid-Missouri residents and she still said, no sorry. We stated they should have told us they were non refundable at the time of purchase. No response. Based on getting screwed out of 3 round trip train tickets, that we could not use due to no fault of our own....won't be back.

Today we had to make reservations to enter the park. That was understandable. However when filling it out, it wasn t CLEARLY posted on how to select our time slot, so we made a purchase for 3 adult tickets one child and one infant. Realizing I hadn t selected a time, I called to ask. I am told my ticket is non refundable, however they are reserving our ticket for next time since the time Slot wasn t ideal for our Whole family. We get there at 2pm for our time slot, by 4pm they had taken all the animals back inside and we couldn t see them. There was no maps to be handed out and the maps they had on site weren t very clear. No where on the website was it posted that both the kiddie park and petting zoo was closed, which was disappointing because we drove from Kansas to pet animals, when we could have went to the caney zoo instead. There were several enclosures with no animals at all. We seen no tigers/lions, no rhinos, no reptiles, the rainforest was closed, but that one was actually listed on their website that it would be. I wouldn t have left a review at all, however apon leaving on Labor Day of 2020, the boy working the exit was so rude when I mentioned updating the website I felt the need to let other people know.

A lot of precaution were taken because of COVID and we understand that and appreciate it. I just wish we would have been made aware before packing up our children and taking that drive.

First time in ten years that I have visited this zoo. Disappointed the Polar Bears are gone. A lot of animals have been moved due to the entire zoo being upgraded but all in all a great place to visit. In a few years I believe this to be a premier zoo in Oklahoma

It's a nice zoo and we picked a good day to go and were able to see many of the animals. I would say that its also really clean. But its not a five star zoo because its a small city zoo that has no money and the facilities are dated. There are a few bathrooms but my recommendation is plan your visit well if you need one frequently but don't use the hokie map cause they are inaccurate. Bring a picnic cause there are plenty of places to enjoy and they dont mind at all.
