Staffordshire Council, Wombourne Leisure Centre Review

Nice local place to do some exercise. Friendly customer service and good sized car park. It's a good place to play sports. However, what do we teach youngster today. Drop your litter and pollute the earth. Please can you put your plastic bottles in the bins provided. Otherwise, your mess impacts on other using these facilities. The culprits have listened, not much rubbish on the fields since last time. Keep it clean.

Limited disabled changing, once one person is in that's it. Changing rooms were much better before they changed them. It also now always smells of urine

Went to see my nephew play football a really nice place indoor swimming pool which was nice till one of the girls said they took the bar out to replace it tut tut

Good workout classes. Friendley staff. Clean condition. Airy light gym

I have been going to this pool on/off for a number of years, until recently .
Over the past 4/5 months or so I have experienced a poss allergic or reaction after a swimming which causes me to sneeze and experience cold like symptoms ( made me quite ill last time).
I enquired the reception if there has been a change of chemical used in the water, the manager said no/didn't know but will inquire and email and answer, she hasn't that being a month or so ago.
A college on mine has the same issue and whilst I am not accusing any one it would have been good customer practice to inform me with any news.

It's a good gym with plenty apparatus and it's not that busy at the weekend

Facilities need upgrading. Darryl smith coaching is first class and would fully recommend

Vending machines don't always work but it has a viewing area

A bit dated but has a great swimming pool and showers work.

First time here for a very long time. I took my son to trial for swimming lessons. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pool and side seating I couldn't fault. The instructors were brilliant. Overall very good experience.

This is a very good baths. It is quite dated but it has a lovely pool and even more lovely staff apart from a few grumpy ones

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Will help with anything just ask.

It has a good pool, friendly staff and decent prices for what they offer.

Used this leisure centre a lot over the last 30+ years. We have used the gym, the pool when our kids learnt to swim, birthday parties in the big hall, weight training and only this week we tried the toning tables... Well we are getting on a bit now!
Fantastic place, great service great prices and some carparking if you need it! But why would you drive to the gym?!!?

I went there to do some work what I saw it was busy but it need update

Called to check what time swimming finished this afternoon and was told 15:30. So I ordered a taxi and we arrived at 14:30 only to be told that we had been misinformed and swimming finished at 14:30. Result, 3 frustrated teenagers and 1 furious mum. No apology and a ruined afternoon - not to mention a waste of a taxi fare.

Not a bad place to take children swimming however male changing rooms are little tired looking and 20p not refunded for use of a locker is shambolic.

Great facilities! The new gym is fantastic and its never too busy.

No where to park all the teachers in the nearby school park there inside is grubby dull and boring but it's cheap

Nice relaxed atmosphere, brought my children here who now take their children.

Pool was wonderful tonight for Aqua. Great session.. brilliant staff both pool and reception.
