An ok aquarium (pun unintended). Includes several of the most expected aquarium features like a shark tunnel, pet the sea star sections, and the Finding Nemo homages. Appreciated the native Oklahoma species being displayed. The exhibits were pretty thoughtfully designed. Would like to see the South Pacific exhibit when it is done, might be the missing piece I was hoping for.
Cool place and a lot of animals to see, but the prices are too high. It should be about half of what it is.
I took a group of friends, and the facility was set up well, but quite a bit of exhibits were closed. We were really sad we didn't get to see any of the Shark exhibit.
Okay for the size but a little pricey. Only entertained my 18 month for about a hour before she was bored. That's with paying to feed the rays and turtles. Wasn't able to stay long enough to see any of the feeding since there wasn't enough for her to look at between the times.
Great place. Grandson enjoyed seeing all the different fish
Great experience! There was a variety of different exhibits including river, lake, and sea life. We got to touch a lot of different aquatic creatures and even had a chance to feed sting rays and turtles. The place was kinda small but still offered about 2 hours worth of entertainment.
It's an aquarium, it's hard for such a place to not get a 4+ rating on any of my present/future reviews. As a big fan of the ocean and all the different creatures it holds in the dark, this aquarium houses a highly pleasing variety of them. Scheduled shows throughout the day allow one to learn more about the creatures, or in some cases pet them! Very good, family friendly, educational place!
They have done an amazing job! It was a 1000% better than it was 5 years ago when we went there. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our kids loved it. They have areas setup for touching the touchables and an area outdoors for them to play as well.
A first rate aquarium, with something for everyone. Bring your best camera, I have so many great photos here. Access was fine but a sidewalk along the front parking row would be helpful for families with strollers. The ticket booth being in the middle of the vestibule gets very congested, why they don't create something in that giant unused entry hall to sell / take tickets is puzzling. Restrooms are located at several points along the path.
Great experience, kids had a blast. It's well laid out, so its not too crowded. Wish there were more cave-like areas to view fish, but there is one for the sharks.
It a must go see!!! It was a very nice and clean place! Great Staff and friendly environment. Fair prices for everything. We will return.
Nice place kinda expensive, didnt have any turtles except snapping turtles, but has plenty of other sea life including sharks though
Food kind of pricey. Eat before you go or after. Nice gift shop. The shark tunnel was amazing. The other exibets were OK.
The aquarium is excellent, perfect for a date or some time with family (it's more geared towards children in a sense, but the staff are quite informative). No matter how old or young you can find yourself learning something new about aquatic life. Check out the shark exhibit, it's pretty cool. There's also a large tank with a sea turtle too, you don't want to miss that. They also have a gift shop, at least two exhibits where you can feed animals (turtles and rays), and the staff are very hospitable. My only wish is that there was just a little more to see.
For what it costs starring at age three, you think they would have a family bathroom NOPE! The manager said 'complain" to the city. This place was built in 2003 so it should offer much more accessabilty than it does for the cost.
You can spend countless hours here and not get bored. There are an abundant amount of animals at this locations. Very beautiful experience to spend with family, partner, or children. Other, then the animals there is a nice gift shop with nice items and they even do face painting.
I love coming here. Lots of kids but I did go on a Saturday afternoon. Still it was nice.
2nd time to go (1st time was in 2010) & loved it both times! They've made some nice improvements & looks like they've got even more coming soon!
Enjoyed our visit, had fun, the kids enjoyed all the exhibits! Staff was friendly and answered question!! Had a great time!!
I love the see tutles and the sharks who knew there could be so many teeth they loose
Amazing displays, a bit crowded, but that is because people love the place. Only one of its kind in the area.
Very educational and fun! Something different to do and indoors!
Great Aquarium experience! The Shark Aquarium was awesome!!
Excellent experience! Good entry price! Comfortable, beautiful and clean!
I really the shark tunnel cause we went there on December 5th 2017 it was really fun I've a good time there
Having visited much larger aquariums this one is on the small scale and even if you go at a leisurely pace you will be done within a few hours. It has several opportunities to touch or feed sea life. The price is a bit high but we went as a group so that helped.
Paid for a one time visit; it was worth it. Can easily make it a 3 hour visit. Lots of opportunities to touch live animals: sea stars, prawns, sharks!!!... really nice and affordable gift shop too.
My kids loved this! The shark tunnel was amazing. Another big hit was the huge sea turtle and feeding the snapping turtles. The kids loved getting to hold a python! It was a lot of fun
Wonderful aquatic experience right here in T-town. I could spend hours here.
Always a great experience! Loved seeing my daughter's face light up just like mine when I was younger.
Very inefficient at getting people through. They really need an express line for annual members. I ve been a annual member for years and it s always a pain to get through the line.
It's a great place to visit, but a little on the pricy side.
Loved it! Had such a great time with my girls. The staff was very friendly. The animals are very well taken care of as well. I loved seeing the animals happy and healthy.
Not worth the money. $30 for me and my 6 year old nephew. It was decent. ALOT of attractions were under construction.
Seems bigger on the inside. So many beautiful and informative displays. I particularly enjoyed being able to touch some critters, like the stingrays and sharks. I'm looking forward to future visits and the octopus area that's under construction.
Pretty cool place very pricey! Bring your own lunch!
I surprised my girlfriend with a trip here and we spent at least 4 hours just walking around and interacting with the turtle and all the other fish. It was a great time and I wish I lived closer so I could've taken her again the next day
Lots to see and staff doing great job keeping high traffic areas clean
Best place ever to spend the day with family or just as couples.... Totally awesome
Very nice variety and very good for the kids. But the reason for 3 stars not 4 was price. At 15$ for adults and 11.95 for 6yr old little steep for what you got.
Great entertaining and educational place for people of all ages! Very friendly staff and volunteers too! Lots of fun, take advantage of all the available activities while you are there.
My son just loves the Aquarium. We've taken him here since he was 2 years old and they keep adding new exhibits! Love the new ses turtle exhibit, it's a must see!
We went here with our kids while on vacation. It was a fun time for all! The only thing we didn t like was the touch tank for the rays/sharks. The ledge was too hick for our kids to reach over and touch them, and the time allowed was so short (20 minute sessions) and we stood in line at least 10 min just to even see. Otherwise the exhibits were great! Pricing was on the high end- it was over $80 for a family of 5 with the military discount.
I love it! So many cool creatures to see! My best friend there is the pufferfish. One of the shrimp there aggressively tasted my fingernail. 10/10 would recommend! Also, to the owner, what s your favorite fish
Cost alot for an hour of walking around chasing a toddler
Our experience here was phenomenal! With 3 adults and 2 kids under 5, we all had plenty to keep us entertained. The shark tunnel was a family favorite, as well as the Octopus tank and Sea Turtle Island. I highly recommend the Oklahoma Aquarium for your next family adventure.
It wasn't what we expected! Place is smaller than i thought and all the fish u see here u can find at the zoo. I was disappointed! We drove 2 hours for this smh
This is an awesome place for children as well as adults to visit. I wish we lived closer so a yearly membership would benefit us more. Largest collection of Bull Sharks in the U.S. Sea turtle exhibit
Super fun and interactive for adults and kids of all ages
Love to take my family here, so much to learn and see. We've enjoyed it every time we go.
I loved it! Especially loved the shark tunnel! Would love to see more expansion.
Love this place, so relaxing! Sunday when they open is when it's not busy :)
better than the dallas aquarium in my opinion, clean, spacious fish look happy
Pretty expensive to get in for two adults, wasn't a very large aquarium and was very crowded.
It was really good! I enjoyed getting pictures and seeing fish/animals I had never seen in real life before. And at 3pm you get to touch Ray's and small sharks (none of which are dangerous )
Very clean and fairly spacious. The exhibit as a whole is okay honestly. Some neat interactive spots. There is a restaurant as well. The bathrooms are very well spaced out!
This is the perfect place to go with the family, everyone is so nice and there is so many different types of sea life. They have an area to feed turtles and sting ray. There is a underwater tube under the sharks, very easy way to see the shark life. They also have a stingray/shark petting area at specific times, and a starfish/crab/shrimp petting areas all around at all times. The gift shop is fully stocked.
Lots of interactive activities. Love the shark tunnel!!!
Very nice staff and answered all our questions and pretty cheap
Great aquarium! I've been to many and this one is top notch
