Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver Review

Hands down the best hotel I've stayed in in BC. We stayed here last Christmas for a mini getaway (we live in Hope) and we enjoyed our first night so much that we stayed a second night. Service was top notch and the rooms were new and clean. Details like the huge soaker tub, amenity kit for my baby, and electric blinds added touches of luxury that did not go unnoticed. I especially enjoyed the TWG tea, and they went well with the welcome biscuits/truffles that we received. Being walking distance from Holt Renfrew also made Boxing Day shopping very conveninent. Valet was also prompt and courteous. We look forward to staying with you again this Christmas.

Ate at Mott 32. Food and atmosphere were great. Service for drinks was a little slow otherwise the staff were very attentive and friendly. While pricey I'd recommend trying at least once. The duck which has to be preordered a day in advance was presented well and it was my first time eating duck skin with sugar and it paired nicely. The smoked black cod was presented with a serving lid still on. It was removed and the smoke was wafted away with great fanfare. It was a nice touch. Some of the pieces were randomly spicy while others were not so that was a little weird. Seafood fried rice tasted good. The jellyfish/fungus/cucumber dish was interesting it was crunchier than the regular jellyfish that one normally gets at a Chinese restaurant. For dessert we had Matcha cheesecake which was deconstructed. It was okay. We also tried the Soy sauce ice cream which was another interesting concoction. I'd recommend giving it a try.

We ordered old fashion and mermaids tears. They are great! They also have friendly workers here! Plain on staying at the hotel next time when we come through!

Terrible! Protesters outpside day and night. Be prepared to be mobbed by protesters. Never again. This hotel is "totally overrated " anyways. Not worth it at all.

The service was world class, champagne lounge is amazing.

I would write my own review but I simply can't do any better than what Donald Trump himself said: It s an amazing place. It s a beautiful place, and we re going to make it more beautiful, Trump Sr. stated at the time. It is a very expensive building to build, but I think it ll be one of the great buildings not only in Canada, not only in the United States, anywhere in the world. It s that good.

Room was nice. Good views. Ample size and comfortable. Slightly small bathroom. Service was good but not outstanding. Slightly impolite staff who weren't the most helpful. Would ask for help and questions and they provided a little more than the minimum help or information. The bartenders were good but again not the friendliest I've experienced. Overall it was a good experience and I'd consider Trump in the future but overall it did not meet my expectations considering it is supposed to be an ultimate level hotel.

Stayed at Trump in Vegas and was impressed. Vancouver Trump is awesome. Not cheap but the best deal of similar hotels. Wonderful and helpful staff. Client Service and amenities outstanding. I love President Trump and this is another reason to support him.

Overpriced. Not reflective of quality. Profits from licensing operation go to support foreign despot.

It is okay. But you have to call the front desk to get a toothbrush and a toothpaste.

As with all Trump properties it's beautiful like them all.

We stayed at their executive suite for a night and the service was extremely good. From the moment we walked into the hotel to check out, everything was well taken care of. We even had a gentleman showing us how the buttons work inside the hotel so we know how to access stuff if we nees to.

i spent a brief time at the trump hotel.. Despite my personal feelings and views abiut Donald Trump, I found the experience beyond compare.. The staff were very helpful and their attention to detail was impressive. Well done!

Nice building. Other than the name, 'Trump,' the building is really nice in design.

Great hotel and lovely staff. We ate at the lounge and the food was great! Also the pool area is large and exercise facility is great.

The bar was ok, but had to wait a long time to have a drink delivered. The staff was nice

We had a nice lunch at Mott 32 the dimsum was delicious and environment was excellent. The decor of the restaurant was really nice. Even though it's super pricey it is definitely worth a try.

Amazing room, very friendly staff and close to everything you need.

Despite the unfortunate name association with the current occupant of the White House, the service by the multilingual and multicultural staff was exemplary: warm, respectful, efficient and professional. We paid for an upgraded room that was supposedly larger than the room we were originally assigned and on a high there floor. I'm not sure if the upgrade was worth it considering that it didn't have any particularly special views. However, as to be expected given that this is a newly built property, the physical condition of the rooms and public areas was excellent. The property is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver (which itself is relatively compact and hence, generally quite walkable), but I should note that the main reception and lobby is accessed from a small back alley-like street which certainly undermines the premium luxury vibe that the hotel is likely trying to convey.

Attended a staff luncheon here. It had nice decor and lots of space. The staff moved fast to keep the buffet lines going.

Excellent service from the entire hotel staff. Front Desk person Marlyn and Bell Men Joel made my children feel so special. They do an unreal job at this hotel. Treat yourself and stay here. The location is great to the water and Stanley Park.

Great rooms, but house keeping is based on fixed schedule not when you wish room serviced. Also location and view are ok rather than good.

Impressive yet sterile architecture, somewhat disinterested staff.

Nice atmosphere, very good service and above average food quality on most dishes.

Just received another charge for $99 on my CC. No idea what for. Had wrong room set aside for me and then when I explained I needed two beds they up charged me $100 a night for it even though it was their fault. Spoke to the director of service(Bonnie), and she fixed everything for me and made me feel good about returning.

We stayed here with our 2 kids for 3 nights,very good experiences, brand new facilities, delicious breakfast, very kind staff,we will come again

Not a very good place. I ended up leaving and NOT staying due to lack of interest in the place.

Staff is attentive, fast & efficient. Surprisingly room could have been cleaner.. blood on a bathroom towel, pillow cases were dirty. Candy wrapper on bed. Offers an excellent baby sitting service.

I've stayed here now on at least three separate occasions for professional events and I've never had a bad stay. The rooms are clean and comfy. The restaurants and clubs are great. The staff are first class. I needed a suit dry-cleaned upon arrival but was too late for the same day service. The concierge went out of his way to find an alternate dry cleaner who could get my suit cleaned and back the same day. Very impressive

Beautiful hotel. Modern. Spacious. Clean. Comfortable. Ignore the 1 star reviews. I promise you those folks have never stayed here (and most of them could not afford to).

Hotel signs limited. Hard to find entrances. Have to ask hotel staffs for directions.

I was disappointed with my most recent visit to Trump Tower Vancouver. I was excited because I had paid a little extra for a room with a balcony so I could step outside and enjoy the city. Unfortunately all I could see from my room (which was quite high up) was glass buildings, and Starbucks, NOT the gorgeous mountain views I thought I was paying for. I found the quality of the room to be below what I expected for a luxury hotel. When I awoke in the morning I had itchy spots on my ankles and arms, likely due to the low quality of the sheets (I have a polyester allergy). When I tried to shower the next morning I found that the water barely had enough pressure to rinse the soap from my hair!
I frequently travel for work and stay in cities across Canada and the US. I have to say that I'll go back to my usual choice of the Fairmont next time I'm in Vancouver.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend to anyone that's ever thinking of staying in Downtown Vancouver, lobby is beautiful, rooms are stunning, food was great, no complaints.

Terrible service, the first day we enter the room' it was dirty towel on clean section' sheets were dirty too just tight up at the bed' house keeping did not clean the room entire day' bath room drain was clogged and water went everywhere'' the breakfast lounge staff were rude and unprofessional' took us 30 min to serve hot beverages although the place was almost empty with only few guests'' food was cold and our sunny side up egg never came'' all 6 booked days same terrible experience

Pretty modern looking place but the servers for the event were extremely uncoordinated and looked like they didn't know what was going on.
