This place looks awesome we hung around outside down by the river. My daughter needed to use the restroom (5yrs old) and after asking the valet nicely he said we could use there's. After watching the guys at the valet they are awesome very polite and enthusiastic. The inside of the building was beautiful. Can't rate anything other than that we did not stay there.
Top notch hotel with plenty of good bars, shops and restaurants inside. Also the river front view from the hotel is breathtaking. It is expensive but worth it.
Prime location, modern rooms, stunning views and great service. Lobby could be a little nicer but overall a good option if you want to be in the center of it all.
Outstanding accommodations. The bar was set high here and has been met. Lets just say we've stayed at dozens of Disney resorts and none have come remotely close to the service and experience Trump Hotel Chicago has provided for us during our 4-day stay. This was our first stay, but won't be our last. Hope to be able to experience other Trump Hotels around the world.
You might expect a 5-star review to focus on the amazing rooms, the first-class service, and wonderful amenities. That is a baseline for luxurious hotels so no stars for that. The 5 stars are for the Front Desk staff who didn't just check us in, but cared who we are and why we were in Chicago; the bellman who learned we were going to a place that was close, but just a little too far to walk and called the hotel car rather than a taxi to drive us; or the hotel manager who talked to us with a genuine interest. The 5 stars are for the Trump team that made us feel so much more than welcome.
Nice luxury hotel. Attentive staff and nice rooms. The health club is top notch, and the spa was very relaxing. We stayed in a spa suite with very accommodating access to the spa and gym.
I had drinks and appetizers at Rebhar. The chicken sliders were amazing.
Awesome experience. Personally I feel like it's one of the most beautiful buildings in Chicago. There was a Lamborghini huracab parked out front. Drinks and food were great. There is shopping and sightseeing near by.
Went there for the mercy home gala. The hotel was really nice and it offers some of the best views on the river.
I was there for a full week. The standards are the highest in every single details. Refinement at its best. I travel a lot and this is definitely the best hotel I ever stayed in.
The rooms and service are great here. Location is very well situated with nice restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance.
Excellent customer service! Massages were very relaxing! Will definitely be back!
Horrible GPS reception for Pokemon GO. Lost a raid pass here.
Perfect hospitality is a source of information. Everything was clean, calm and relaxing! Moth
I received ESCALADE for use in my neighborhood.
I've been to a lot of 5 star hotels, this place is unreal, amazing. Nicest staff I've ever been around. The room and amenities are world class. The gym in this place is better than your average health club.
It was amazing, I felt like a king while staying there.
Staff amazing great food and friendly service cannot be at a better luxurious hotel!!
Say what you will about the man, but Trump Tower is, to be fair, a marvelous attraction, so let's leave ideology and politics aside. It is undeniable that the Trump brand is quality, appealing to those of wealth and taste, even if the man behind the brand often lacks the class and refinement one ought to expect with such wealth and taste.
Architecturally, some might criticize that the building is unnecessarily phallic, but I find it ironically appropriate. This building is essentially a giant d!ck, just like the man it was named after. (Sorry ladies!) All joking aside, this edifice is interesting-looking and unique, not a bad addition to the Chicago skyline. Trump Tower is the defining landmark of River North, and, together with the John Hancock Building, of the Near North Side. While we can point out the ego inherent in naming such a building after oneself, better ego than shameless greed, such as that of the proprietors of the Sears Tower, who wh0red out to the highest corporate bidder and renamed a cherished Chicago landmark.
My rating is based principally on the terrace experience. The setting was relaxed, drinks were expensive, even somewhat overpriced, but that is understandable given the reputation and target clientele. There is no better place to view the fireworks, outside of Navy Pier of course.
I had a great experience. The check in was easy. The room was clean. The food was good. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice. The staff was easy to work with. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again.
The place itself is a beautiful landmark in Chicago.
I just passed the sidewalk and that was enough to be enchanted! It can be seen from various points of the city.
Nice place, but parking will cost you 30 dollars if you go 1 minute past an hour. Very expensive to park all day.
Probably the most fantastic hotel experience I have ever had!
Beautiful decor, great smell. Loved the views from terrace and herb garden.
Great, central location in Chicago with spectacular views of the river. Everything is incredibly expensive, even more so than other local establishments, but I suppose it is to be considered with the brand and building. The quality is high, but I'm not sure the value is there. A decent choice overall.
Everything looks perfect and sems to work perfectly until you actually stay here. Tier 1 construction materials, a very welcoming staff and a very clean room makes this place totally worth it. The problems this hotel have are the bathroom doors which slide and there is no way to lock them, plus they don't really seal properly so cold air comes in when you are getting a shower, there is no door in the shower either so this problem gets agravated. Then the window's curtains are electric, but the buttons didn't worked so I couldn't open them. Floor 17 is where the meeting rooms are and there is a regular sized door which connects you to the rooms which is confusing. Pool closes too early 10pm and if you choose self parking there is no in and out privileges, plus the machine to pay the parking is in the side of the building for non guests, so you need to walk outside to pay the ticket which is very frustrating in cold or rainy weather. And my car had a better view than I had in my room. On the positive side, this hotel is full of gadgets, safe in the room is bigger than average, there are 3 phones in the rrom (one next to the toilet, very convenient) there is a TV in the mirror of the bathroom and the shower from the spa which has a touch screen to control the temperature, lighting and location of the water coming out are very nice additions to the user experience.
The most wonderful & sumptuous hotel I've ever stayed in!!! The view from my hotel room was gorgeous and I wasn't even on one of the highest floors so it was an overwhelming experience. Also the staff was excellent and they always left such lovely & motivational notes with famous quotes. I definitely recommend this hotel, if I go to Chicago in the future I will book a room here again 5/5
Everything about this hotel is top notch. Great staff, great rooms, & great location
Visited The Terrace bar only for few drinks and desserts with friends and family. 4 stars out if 5 ! Drinks ware good and desserts ware excellent. Removing one star because my wifes cappuccino cup came with old lipstick marks.
If you are looking for high quality service and exceptional views, there is no better hotel in Chicago then the Trump Hotel.
Luxury at its finest, amazing service, impeccably clean...
Stayed here a couple times now for work trips. Our home office is nearby so we have a corporate rate. A good place to stay for quick trips to the area.
Beautiful room, gorgeous shower. Very clean and wonder polite staff. My only complaint is I expected and quite & larger restaurant. Wobbly table indoor terrace with a limited menu. Went back to room as the in room dining menu was much better. Food and service to room was wonderful. Yum!
Location is good. You can see the hotel on a boat tour. Lobby is small and I have was given no additional information other than my room number. The suite is nice, and comfortable. I wish there is an easier way for me to quickly figure what's available at this hotel.
Best view of the river!
Specially for St Pats...
Traveled all the way up from Missouri. By far the best experience we ve encountered at a hotel. Staff was well organized and mannered. Staff genuinely cared about our stay and recommended great restaurants. Everything from top to bottom was shiny clean in our room. Breathtaking view of the beautiful city from our room. Highly recommended.
Nice service and great views. Especially of the fireworks across the river. Drinks are pricey.
When I moved to Trump Tower, I was hoping to receive the best in luxury, comfort, and service. The messages are nice, but the service in general here is atrocious! The head of the front desk is a patronizing snob and mistakes are never their fault; the security men are unorganized and beyond rude. Excluding the doormen and the people in the spa/gym who are wonderfully nice, the only positive thing I have to say about the employees at Trump Tower Chicago is that they are consistent.
I would think twice before moving in here.
Nice place. Bathroom as a space-saving feature (tub in shower stall) I'd like to incorporate in my house.
We adore visiting Rebar whenever we're in Chicago. Everything is superb from drinks and food, service, ambiance and environment, the view is awesome.... Love this hotel and love Rebar.
Super nice staff, very nice hotel and location. And the pool is Great !
The building and its architecture was very nice, and the staff were helpful.
One of the worst hotels I've been to got the worst service ever never will return to this hotel again I don't care if they paid me to go back there I will never ever step foot in that hotel
Nice, easy to access location in the heart of downtown Chicago with a professional staff of employees
Didn t stay at the hotel, but did take a look around inside and it s gorgeous!
Why do people have to be so political? There is no way this hotel is anything but 5 stars. Reasonable price. Perfect location. Stunning. Superbly professional and diverse staff. Heck, they give you a hot towel when checking in and walk you to the elevator. It's those extra touches. The room we had was amazing. Fireplace, kitchen, etc. Ordered room service every morning and they set it up in our dining room like a restaurant. They even have a 2 Michelin star restaurant which is pricey but worth every penny. Trump Chicago is amazing and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
Had drinks on the 16the floor outdoor area. Cool ambiance and good service. Little overpriced, but definitely a fun way to see some of the city differently.
Horrible service, had to kill two spiders and a fly before I could get some rest.
The stay was excellent the entire TCH team made it a great night for my lady and I. Everything came out great how I wanted it set up. The team went above and beyond for me I ll definitely be back.
