Very clean and the staff are very helpful. I went to the casino with a friend and we found it pretty enjoyable. Definitely one of the top casinos on the boardwalk!

Neat atmosphere. Nice bars and restaurants. Shops and counter food selection seems really diverse. Glad to have this open up.
This was one of the worst times I have in my days of being alive in which my life was almost taken from me eating at the cafe I had some kind of paper that comes prepackaged from delivery of salmon so yes you know it wasn't fresh the guy took the proof so fast that I didn't even have time to take a picture of it so people please watch what you eat there.
it's a great place for a gate away with your sweet heart
Nice hotel. Spacious room with a minibar. Unfortunately there is no free WiFi.
Great casino, drink service was alittle slow but it was a busy night
It was beautiful lovely lively it was great atmosphere I enjoyed going there to see Lionel Richie concert it was wonderful.
Cool casino. Lady Luck found me for a few minutes but I mudt have annoyed her as she left abruptly. Casino was fun.
Nice clean hotel with a lot of amenities . Room rates can t be beat and it s right on the boardwalk.
Didn't win any money but nice place. Smoking is allowed.
Only one star because for parking they get $ 20 that's an abuse The other casinos charge nothing more than $ 5 I don't recommend it
We just got back and stayed one night and what a great time we had! Nexa at the front desk check in was a sweetheart and Jason helped with a minor issue we had but i can say how great the people are there. A+ to all the staff!!! While they still have some hiccups here and there sine they just opened, they are addressing them and going above and beyond to correct them. The casino is very nice and the food is great. Love the music! Keep up the great work but loosen up the slots a bit. Just an FYI.
It is a very big, great looking casino. But the workers were on strike, so we decided not to support a bad employer. If they would treat them more friendly, we would love to come back!
Dated but beautiful items adorn the casino. Went to play poker, but the poker rooms smelled absolutely awful. Never went back.
Huge place with theaters, restaurants, a huge casino, etc. Directly on the boardwalk. Location very well maintained and very modern ... The machines of the casinos seem recent or in excellent conditions. As there are places for smokers, expect to be on the go but at least there are non-smoking sections ... Everything is very expensive ... A must in Atlantic City!
Stay for two nights at great time. Service was good and room was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful Remodeled after Trump let it fall. Nice restaurant nice amostphere
I was a tad bit upset that the waitress chose to sit us at the tables in the middle of the floor instead of a booth at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlantic City. I even asked her for a booth and she just replied that they were all filled. Yes!! Well I can see that, but she just continued to seat people in available booths as they became available as we watched. It was no big deal really but I think it irritated me more than anything. The food was good though. We'll even be back in a couple of weeks for a stay!! We'll try again and see what we get.
What a cool casino!! Beach and boardwalk access. Close to steel pier and area bars. Live music everywhere. And the memorabilia is incredible! Definitely worth a trip!
Gross. Not surprised though seeing who it's named after.
They say first impressions are everything- and that is not a good thing for the new Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. I was a two decade long visitor when it was the 'Taj' so I'm well aware of the aspects of the property . Strike 1- I booked an Ocean View room over the phone almost a month in advance, this was confirmed no less than 4 times. I arrived to a view of downtown AC with no view what so ever of any water. There was no real apology, this is the 'Classic King' that you were 'charged' for... emphasis on the later part of the statement- we aren't saying that you booked this room- but we didn't over charge you so don't complain about it... I suspect my room was downgraded to charge more to someone who wasn't using a discount. Strike 2- Check in took almost two hours. How with a top line concert scheduled, and an air show bringing in hundreds of thousands of people (whole families with many more impatient kids), with people paying much higher rooms rates do you have just 4 people working at prime 'check in' time? There were 14 stations, but only 4 being used. There was lots of complaints filed- they again took the attitude of 'what are you going to do.. leave? you will wait while we are understaffed'. I self parked and had to drag my bags down two sets of escalators- no elevators down to check in as they ditched the old 2nd floor check in for the South Tower that used to be available. Still did better than valet parking which took an additional 30-45 minutes according to the couple next to me in line. The bell boys were also really far behind so we decided not to give up ours bags despite the hassle of the escalators. Strike 3- the LOUD music throughout. Ok I know what you are thinking... it's the Hard Rock! how can music be an issue. The music itself isn't the problem and I love rock... but decibels that gave me a migraine and created chest pains in some in our party, it is too much in areas that you can't alter or escape... like a check in line from HELL. The live bands should never be so close and so loud in such areas packed with people who can't actually leave or move away when it is too loud. The check in employee couldn't even hear me speak- just gesture to my ID, credit card, and then the signature pad. We might as well have been using sign language- I doubt he had much by way of ear drums left working where he was.
So what did they do well? The rooms are as quiet as they can be. You can't blame the venue for people yelling in the hallways at 3AM or screaming drunken idiots throwing curses towards a few kids because they were 'in the way' to the elevator... that's just people, but security really tried to make things better and be more of a presence when needed to deter such things. The concert we attended was worked like a well oiled machine (which makes check in all the more insulting since they clearly know how to do it right). The security, ticket check, the concessions, seating, cleaning, and overall management was what I'd expect from the label 'Hard Rock'. The memorabilia is also fantastic. The gambling areas were well covered with employees that knew what they were doing. Food is overly expressive but didn't feel like a rip off with the quality and taste. Nice for a splurge meal or two but couldn't afford it for long stays. Still the boardwalk offers plenty of options with a little walking. So visiting the Hard Rock- I give the stars and it was worth it to gamble or see a show. 'Staying' at the Hard Rock- I think I'll be looking elsewhere as I don't know if a second chance was earned during this stay.
Hotel is the Taj Mahal, with a facelift. Similar to most other casinos in Atlantic City. Our experience was that our floor where we slept was extremely loud. People fought all through the night, and security was called at least twice. At one point it sounded like rooms doors were being knocked down. When alerted the next day, the hotel response was practically non-existent. On a plus side, I learned that Jimi Hendrix used to be in the 101st Airborne.
I went to play the slots. Ordering drinks straight from the machine was the highlight for me!
Went to go to the hard Rock. Had a great time like every other time I have been.
Great casino! Good comps, and the food is out of this world! ! And hey, you have the beach.....
They did a great job renovating the old Taj Mahal. Love the fact you can see celebs gear throughout the commons.
Typical casino setting but DOES NOT HAVE A POKER ROOM !!!!!!! I WONT BE GOING THERE AGAIN
Gorgeous hotel and casino. You can order your drinks from the slot machines as you play.
Room was nice but expensive. Had words with front desk and reservations desk and was totally dissatisfied with the outcome and left rather than extending our stay. We will stay some where else next trip.
Great place. Loved everything other than the band name of this!
Hard Rock Hotel Casino is next level. The casino is completely re-done. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from. Great entertainment and night clubs! We will obviously be going back!
Amazing, clean, beautiful, so much to do! Stayed three nights and enjoyed every single second of my stay.
Clean hotel. Great rooms plenty of music venues. Great shows ample choices of food. Should be your choice of casinos.
The Hard Rock is the nicest Casino on the boardwalk. There are plenty of food places and of course casino games to keep you happy. We saw rock of ages there and really enjoyed it.
Loved it best stay of my life. Environment is very loud.
Its a nice casino area, just unfortunately due to it closing soon, it was very empty and felt depressing being inside
Lives up to the hype... a great club, plenty of great restaurants and if you like to gamble... plenty of parking too
Half way through our visit. For the price it's a great place to stay. The pool is AWESOME, buy you have to pay for the hot tub. I'm a smoker so I don't mind the smell but ALL of the casinos in Atlantic City are like that. I would stay here again.
Great place! Love the live music and vibe! They completely revived and transformed the old Taj. Great concert venue. Highly recommended!
The smoke was too much and we didnt stay long because of it
Loved the layout of the casino.. food court close to when you walk in.. love the atmosphere, the decor snd muaic
On line live roulette betting cool place been a few times lots of $$$ in the remodel well done
It's gorgeous inside. The staff was friendly. They have a lot of food choices. The casino is huge. To p
I visited over there just for an hour and I did not enjoyed much as I never play in casino !! :)
But the decoration was great !! :)
Didnt stay here but loved the place and the energy was real nice and vibrant
Someone needs to go see managers at Harrahs. This buffet ,good thing it was free. I would not have paid for this. Food very limited. Hostesses are waiting on tables. Never seen our waiter. Ice cream was freezer burnt. The pool was a joke. The food at food court was good.
Sound waves
I can't speak for anything other then the sound waves venue. The staff there were awesome though. Its a smaller venue Very close to the stage. 20 dollar tickets great views the sound was ok. Really cant beat it. Great place to see artist. Its a bit cold in the room though. But over all great small room that won't cost you much. You can even leave and come back in. I'll be coming back.
Food was subpar and expensive not much of a menu either. But the staff is terrific
First time here had to wait two and a half hours to get my room because the computers were down so it was not a good first experience hopefully we'll get some perks some comps 4 our inconvenience here until Sunday hopefully the rest of this day will get better
Casino ok but restaurant no. The music way too loud had to leave.
Its not open now. Their were mice all over the place. It got bad right before it closed.
Lost over 150k in one year . First they gave me x card then took it away , told me I was using too much free play with out playing enough. Checked my win loss lost over 158k . What a stupid business decision. Took my business over to golden nugget and ocean casino . Hotel so so hit or miss. Dealers not friendly. Food ok . Goodbye hard rock .
Played a little blackjack...not a fan of the use of a continuous deck. Money wheel was very nice. Some power issues with computers and slots. Nice drink selection when playing. Beers at the bar were a bit expensive.
I were on the 37th floor North tower great view of the ocean, went to Janet Jackson show, gamble, party at night at the bar. GreT place to stay. Will be back.night room service Monica Dunn were great taking care of us. Always see if I can ask for here.
Had a great birthday dinner with my girlfriend and got to see Slash's motorcycle! Definitely a great night out! They even gave my girlfriend ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream and a birthday candle!
Fun. Live music. Lots of restaurants. Famous memorabilia.
I saw a concert at the Etnas Arena and it was awesome.. not a bad seat in the whole venue. Pleasant and helpful staff and also did some gambling. Lots of different slots to play. Had a blast!
Could not be more disappointed in a place. My wife and I were looking forward staying here for our Anniversary and purchased tickets to see our favorite comedian Jim Breuer. Unfortunately the day before our 1 and 3 year olds both became really sick and after taken them to urgent care, they were both tested and have the flu. Obviously as much as we have been looking forward to this night , especially since it has been a year since we have been away together, we were not going to leave our sick children.
We had called a couple of hours after the deadline of being able to cancel with a full refund. However it was still the day before and after explaining to them our situation, they would not refund our money back. I told them I would send them doctor notes if needed or even would accept a credit for another night or switch to another night but no they were not working with us at all. Didn t care and showed no remorse or even a slight interest in helping us given our situation.
Not sure who is in charge there of handling these situations but an epic fail on their end. I will be sure never to book here and to tell my brother who was thinking of getting married there about the type of place they would be dealing with.
