I tell my boss certain areas are very unsafe but he didn't care

no sign ,employee parking only, security guards are very disrespectful

Still take to long to load you. I had a 8am appointment, arrived at 7:20am. I got called back at 11pm. I gave them a 3 because the staff is friendly and at least the girl in the office warned me this time that it would be ready anytime between 6-11pm. So u can bobtail to the Love and do your 10 hour break

We unload hogs here 5 days a week. Very few of the works speak English. Their rude! Always miss counts and gets pissed off when you demand a recount. And get rid of the damn yellow poles!!!

Lots of rules , and they don t know none of them and they don t really care. Lots of lazy workers . 4 hours to load .

So this was my first time coming here and with these ignorant procedures, it will be my last!! I was told by the mid morning guard that because my trailer was not loaded yet, that I could not drop my empty trailer... yeah, dumb, but it gers worse. I was given a phone number to call and check on the load. So I called, I asked how long it would until it was loaded? She replied I have no idea but it is in a door. Ok, I will take a 10 hour break and come over some time afterwards. I get there with my clean trailer that was washed out by my previous customer but because I have no receipt, they wash it again. Waste of water and money but whatever. Then they make you bobtail to look for your trailer, write down the temp setting and seal number then bobtail back to the office to give them the paper with that info and sign stating that you won't slide your tandems and then get your bills. Then go back and hook up to the trailer and leave. Well I slid my tandems there anyways because I would have been way overweight on my drives, not to mention over length for bridge law the second you hit the street. In my 25 years OTR, I have never seen a more complete waste of inefficiency as this place is.

After 11 hrs they will tell you, you have to give them 45$ for trailer wash. And broker tald me, it's will be Turkey but they don't have here anything else except the pork. If you ask them that you're not going to carry that, then you have to pay them another 150$ for unloading that pork. Good luck with this cheaters guys

Today was good security officer was pleasant, which is nice to see. And the office staff friendly.

Aside from HPI, Its the worst part of st. Joseph! Wasteful with money, and takes advantage of this great town! They should move out of town and never come back!!

My experience here was phenomenal.
Everyone from the guards to the office personnel were very nice and explained the(easy) process to me.
You dont have to worry about your trailer being clean or not. They'll wash it for you for $45. Even though there's a truck wash down the road this made more sense to me. No wait, I can drop and leave.
They take cash, it has to be exact if paying with cash. Efs Checks and credit card etc. No need to get out your truck at guard shack either they come out to you. No need for any safety vest. You'll need to slide your tandems at guard shack. The paper the guards give you to bring to shipping office make sure to write your number on it clearly and they'll call you when your load is ready to be picked up. You cannot stay on their property. Once you get your call that's when you pay for your washout. And you'll need to go to your trailer and write down the temps (current and what it's set at) seal number. Then go back to shipping office and get Bill's and head on out. No long walmart style walks to the shipping office or non of that business. I was truly nervous to go here reading the previous comments but I had one of the easiest and friendliest pickups at this triumph foods. Will definitely come again. Just follow the directions guys and be kind.

Horrible place to deal with. You never know if they will decide to do their jobs and load your trailer or just mess around. The office has a smart mouth and is very disrespectful. They are quick to chew you out over nothing and smart off for no reason at all. This place needs all new workers that actually know how to do their jobs

Reviews are a little bit hyperbolic. It wasn t as bad as I thought it would be after reading them. They had my load ready when I arrived, no wait. They have you slide the tandems at the gate, the lot is thin asphalt, so understandable. Overall, not too bad.

Stay awayyyy !!! Fcfs facility, in at 4h22 am ,it's been almost 14 hrs now (6pm) N still not called yet, very bad company, smell, wait time ,service, location. ....will never b back here again.

Amy personally me. They like that kind of work because they are very well paid and they give you many benefits.

Pay is competitive and supplies are given there plus cafeteria is good and assortment of food, drinkn and people to socialize with that are from all ranges of ethnicities

Hope you're ready to wait and there's no onsite parking you have to park across the street or if you're lucky park at the truck stop down the street... No restroom across the street... Was told it should be loaded in a few hours still waiting coming up on 20 hours... Hopefully I won't ever come back here again!

Arrived at 8:05 am to pick up preloaded trailer that had a 5:00 am delivery next day 26 hours later still here waiting on products they need to finush. I urge my carrier to stay away as rhey dont want to pay for layover and detention

Rude people,,,checked in at 12:30 lunch time now is pass 11 p.m. and still waiting for their phone call to pick up loaded trailer cause you are not allowed to wait in their yard,,,,sad place overall

REFUSE TO HAUL ANY LOADS from this company, way to many rules, (see review below) and they make you wait 7 hours to load your trailer. Horrible way to do business. I will refuse any and all loads from this place in the future until I hear they get loads out quicker.

When dispatch told me where I was going I almost turned the load down. I hate coming to this place their rules are ridiculous and if you don't know them they act all indignant about it as if you should just know their rules.
On top of that every time I have ever been here to pick up Freight I've had to wait for hours on end. And if you do have to wait they kick you off property.
All of that coupled with the fact that the staff are just generally rude and dismissive. I've came here in a great mood and after interaction with the people here left in a bad mood. They're good at one thing, making your day suck.
7 hours so far waiting for a load that was supposed to be a simple drop and hook.
I think I'll turn this place down in the future.

If You Haul bulk items out of this place you better make sure that you have good scales on your truck you can get your gross weights but not splits and once you're loaded heavy or not it's your baby

This place sucks! Lowest service ever! Was waiting to get loaded for 8 hours and after loaded had to wait 2 hours for bills! All they answer is : "I don't know ". And the restroom stinks! Don't waste your time loading here!

12 hours to get loaded and had to drop trailer and pay them to move my trailer in dock why?

Expect long waits slow service excessively heavy load and stupid looks when you go back to get the load cut because of overweight. Otherwise great place truck on .

22 hours to get loaded and guess what. 2000lbs overweight. Good job guys.

Been sitting here for 24 hours everybody here is mean and disrespectful no courtesy for drivers at all.

Guy at the Guard shack was cool. Ladies inside was nice also. I was a drop and hook.

They have no problem wasting your time. Very rude in the office. Security and load out was decent. They seemed upset I was there to pickup a load like it was my problem.

I give less than one star. This place needs to be destroyed. I had my trailer washed out before I came in. They still charge me 45.00 for wash out and for their yard people to move it. Just ridiculous. I dropped my trailer off at 8:00 am Tuesday morning and it s 11:00 am Wednesday and still waiting on 13 skids

Check in with security (they're in no rush) by;
*Starting reefer.
*Sliding tandems to the rear.
*Open trailer doors and lock them open.
*Sign security's clipboard.
*Drop trailer on wash bay (leave a slight gap between dock and trailer).
Check in with shipping and get your trailer assignment number, go find said trailer and go back to shipping with seal number and temperatures, go back to trailer and hook up.
*Do not move your trailer until you have your paperwork.
*Do not park in the middle of the yard.
*Do not slide your tandems on the premises.
*No parking on premises.
*No bobtail or truck parking across the road (long time customers will know where I mean).
*Yard trucks have right of way (seeing as they're doing 30mph bobtail or spotting).
*Do not break the rules.
*Follow all the rules.
*They love rules!

Unfortunately, the duration of loading meat that is transported to Mexico is up to at least 8 hours of waiting ... they cannot improve production due to the excess of Orders for these places.

If I could rate the hiring staff a 0 I would. They have contacted me several times through text messages to get me hired on. Here it is 2 months later and interviews as well and nothing but the same run around. Continuously lie to me about this hiring process. I have 2 years experience in the pork industry and have worked for seaboard, who owns 50% of this company. Also have worked for triumph years ago with good background. If you are a felon or cant speak english this jobs for you.

Good place to make money if your willing to work and dont mind the smell

Ridiculously rude shipping staff and very unprofessional. We can count on being treated with little or no respect at this place. If we didn't have forced dispatch, we would never haul for these folks.

WARNING: DO NOT work here. The only thing this place cares about is money, they could not care less about the employees.

No facilities for drivers, no place for safe parking, drop at 3pm -hook up at 2am, don t trust your broker...

After reading the other reviews, we were leery on how it would be. However, everybody from guard gate to office people were very courteous!! Load was ready, not overweight and we were in and out within 45 minutes of arriving. Pleasant experience.

Avoid if you can
#1 you have to slide the tandem before you enter
#2 you have to separate the truck
#3 you have to pay to move your trailer around
#4 you have to leave the property and park somewhere
#5 when they call you
You have to find your hidden trailer
And write the temperature information and come back
Get your paper and don't slide the tandem inside the property
Slide it on the city property to
#6 no sign for truck entrance
#7 no sign for shipping department

Poor direction given then gives attitude to drivers that received bad directions very bad customer very bad customer services ! Shipping department !

Came 4:15 am, at Saturday to find out that my load will be ready MAYBE Monday if some one selling product what is not ready and doesn't exist time of the sell, it is criminal offense what is this company stand for!

Not at all happy about the constant waiting. But, then again, I'm a truck driver, that's what I do 85% of the time, WAIT!

This place is a joke. Poor communication through the entire company. H.r. and the company are on completely different pages. Nobody knows what's going on. A specific person in H.R. Karen McDonald takes her personal problems out on employees and gets pleasure from it and they allow her to do it. They take advantage of foreign employees. Very sad dirty place to work or do business with.

I pick up here a lot. One of the better meat plants to load out of. Courteous staff, paved lot. There are two small fuel stops near by, and a Love's and Bucky's about 7 miles away on I-29.

Typical place that gets truck drivers. Even tho everything they have coming and going is done by truck. They should be worried that no one will come anymore to a place where they are treated this bad.
