Great work done here but the staff was nothing but rude over the phone. I was told 2-3 days when dropping off scrubs to be embroidered, called after 5 days and was told "Yeah they're not done" and no more information. SO if you like calling/ stopping in constantly to check on an order then this place is for you!!

Rude and ignorant employee! The younger one. He shouldn t be hard to spot! He asked me three times what size pants my son needed (while looking at another customer) and he got the same answer three times. Then chose to to tell me his weight and compared it to my sons weight and proceeded to tell me there s no way he was the size I was giving him. I went to get my son what he needed for school not get argued down.
I was in line as the other customers waiting to be attended, but the old guy at the register cut me off and started attending the customer behind me. I told him I was the next one on the line and I was just picking up... and with a bad attitude, grabbed my receipt and called another worker to go on the back to find my order. After waiting for like 10 min. finally, someone brought my order up front. I paid and left, when I got to my car, I was checking on my stuff to see if everything was ok, and there was a pair of sweat pants missing. I went back to tell the guy what was missing, and he said that everything was in the bag, he even implied that I stole the pants and came back for another pair. It's my mistake for not checking my bag before leaving the store, but still, he doesn't have to be so RUDE. Thanks God, I don't have the need to steal from no one. Like another person said, probably it's because of my etnicity (I'm hispanic) because I noticed that the rest of the customers were treated in a kindly way...
Rude guy behind the front desk. Just because I am being particular about what I want my scrub embroidery to look like doesn t make it to give me nasty looks and tell me because I m being particular I have to pay more than the last quoted me on the phone. For something I m going to wear five days a week I m not sorry I want to communicate clearly what I want. It s a shocker that people can treat customers like this so would never do this in my business. I took my scrub tops back and didn t have any work done there. Do us a favor and take care of your personal issues so you don t have to take it out on potential customers.
My school class and I needed our white coats embroidered on 2 days for our ceremony.with such short notice Triple Play Sports took the challenge were able to return our jackets in less than 24 hours. All the names were embroidered correctly and the service was amazing. Thank you Triple Play Sports!

They guys (And Gal) at Triple Play Sports do the best embroidery work I have seen.. They make my logo POP right off the shirts and jackets they do! Would recommend them to anyone.. AND, their pricing is right there with their competitors . Andy @ Bel Air Automotive
I haven't even shopped here yet but its clear from the reviews that this estblishment is prejudice. If you look objectively you see that all the ethnic women are dissatisfied . Also all of there orders are incorrect. This is to much of a coincidence. I'm to afraid 2 even shop here.
Triple Play is a Bella Vista institution and continues to provide great service and value for Philadelphians. I ordered custom embroidery and within a few days had artwork on my computer for approval. After that I received a confirming email that the project was ready. In short great service; exactly as promised and at a fair price. I can highly recommend Triple Play for all your sporting and custom uniform needs!
A fantastic process from start to finish. Frank made it easy for me to choose the best shirts, gave me a few options to make my logo really pop on a few of the colors, and the turnaround time was lightning fast. Definitely the best experience I've had obtaining custom shirts.
Triple play sports really helped out my physician assistant class and rush order 60 white coats to be embroidered with less than 24 hours notice and had them all complete in 24 hours. They really saved us a headache and did such a great job! Would recommend and really appreciate their time and hard work to get our coats done quickly and do high quality work!
My PA class needed our 50+ jackets embroidered with very short notice. They had it done in a day for a very reasonable price and the embroidery looked amazing, they even did a second batch of jackets in less than a day. Definitely recommend!
I dropped off my children's uniform shirts to be embroidered on August 21, 2015. I was told they would be ready on August 28, 2015. I came in around 8:40am on August 29, 2015 with my receipt, and after waiting about 10 minutes, I was told they couldn't locate my order. They said the girls who work in the back would come in @9am and they'd be able to find it. I was a little agitated because I had to be to work @9:30am. The guy behind the desk didn't seem to care that I was upset. He remarked that they'd opened at 8:30am out of convenience and they needed more time to locate it. I explained that I needed to be to work @9:30am and that I wouldn't be able to pick the shirts up any other time because my work schedule conflicts with the hours the store is open and my children need the shirts on Monday. The guy behind the desk just ignored me. Without any other choice, I decided to wait for the girls to come in. When they came in, one of them told me my order wasn't finished. I was extremely upset because I was told the order takes a week to be finished. They had an extra day and still didn't finish it. I asked why didn't they call me and tell me that the order wasn't going to be ready. The guy behind the desk ignored me again. An older gentleman came over to me and spoke to me like I was a person, unlike the other jerk who acted like I had done something wrong. The older gentleman explained that they would finish the order immediately and he even issued me a refund for my purchase. I wasn't looking for a refund; I was looking for professionalism and even an apology from the guy behind the desk. The store didn't hold up their end of the bargain, yet he treated me as if I was beneath him. The order was finished around 9:20am and I was a couple minutes late for work. I've been going to this store for the last 5 years for my children's uniform shirts. After this experience, I will NEVER set foot in this place again. I will take my business to a place that employs people with decent attitudes who don't act like you owe them something. I sort of feel bad for the older gentleman because he was nice and he tried to make up for the jerk behind the desk, but it just wasn't enough. The rude jerk should have apologized and tried to remedy the situation instead of ignoring me for no reason. His poor attitude just lost the store a customer.
Horrible experience at this establishment. I will NEVER spend another penny in this store. I placed an order a few weeks back for school shirts. There is a sample of the school logo next to the counter, so i assumed i would be getting this design on the finished product. When i picked my shirts up the logo do not match what i saw. I called the store and was told if there was a problem i could bring the shirts back with the receipt. When i arrived at the store and told the person at the counter( who said he was the owner) that i was not happy with the final product, he told me the store did not say i would get a certain logo design and the logo used was the one they used on thousands of items for the school. I was also told that the sample item is not displayed in the store even though it is next to the counter. It is only for the embroidery people as a reference. If that is the case, why is it not in the back of the store or in a location only accessible to employees and vendors. If a reasonable person sees something hanging up or in plain view why would they not think this is being displayed as a sample of what you will get.
When i asked for a refund, in so many words i was told i was stuck with product and couldn t get a refund even though the receipt says returns accepted with 7 days with the receipts, not to mention what i was told over the phone. In my opinion the owner is very short tempered and condescending almost defensive that a customer would dare be unhappy with their product. If you value customer service beware. i left feeling more like a dollar sign than a patron
I had a custom logo I wanted to embroider on a jacket. They digitized it and made me a proof. The proof looked fantastic and I was very pleased, so I went ahead and had them embroider a jacket. Sadly, the final product looked very different from the proof - the colors seemed to change.
One of the guys that works there, an older gentleman, is very rude and short-tempered. The other employees are very friendly and helpful.
The total process only took a couple of days, but I'm very displeased with how different my proof and my final product looked. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you care a lot about how your logo ends up looking.
When a friend and I stepped into the store. We were ignored and pushed off into the side even though we were customers. After someone who came in later got attention and we didn't, we tried to get the attention of someone behind the desk who cut us off mid-sentence and then practically dismissed us. We finally got help from another worker. However the whole experience was very demeaning and rude and I think could be attributed to my black ethnicity since other people were helped immediately and more nicely. . I will never buy shirts from there again, and I advise you not to as well if you have any self worth.
A monopoly unaffected by bad reviews. Great prices, cluttered ambiance, inconsistent service, quality products. Tips: avoid Saturday visits and be extremely patient.
Outstanding service and quality from high school lacrosse thru college skiing and lacrosse to banners and magnets for a the best bread business I the world. Triple oaky has helped advertise and support all of these effots-jackets, tshirts, banners, hats,signs and magnets.
Well they did a great job with putting the school logo on my kids uniform! I sent a picture of the school logo and showed them other pictures of how the uniforms are suppose to look And they did an amazing job! I called before I went and They explained to me that July, August and September are there busiest months with school starting, that it would be 2 weeks before my stuff would be ready. I dropped my things of and received a call in a week telling me my stuff was ready.
they are even lucky to be getting one star from me. i explained in detail in person what i wanted done to my baseball jersey. i was told it would be done exactly how i wanted it. i payed 75 dollars to get 4 letters and 2 numbers done and thats not how it was supposed to be. what a rip off. had i have known i could have got it done elsewhere for half the price the correct way i would have never came here. do yourself a favor and do your homework before you go here. they dont even call when your product is ready like they promised. very very bad overall experience.
The ONLY place to go for your custom clothing orders. Couldn t be more pleased with the service and help from Frank, Jeremy, Mike and the gang. Typical South Philly vibe, you treat them like family and that s what you get back, tenfold. Yeah it s small, tight and always busy...like any great local bar, diner or cheese shop. For those reviews that state otherwise, I ve never witnessed anything bordering on rude, condescending or otherwise so I m calling bull$&!? or maybe, just maybe the typical city attitude doesn t fly in the Italian Market. My 2 cents is you ll save hundreds shopping TPS.
GREAT pricing, great service, and very very friendly. You cannot ask for more than that. They worked with me a did my items overnight so my children were able to have them the next afternoon. Their faces lit up when we came back to pick them up the next day. This is the only place I go to and tell my friends and family to use. I currently have a closet full of items I am going to get done this weekend. Very much recommended.

Triple Play Sports has absolutely amazing staff. They are super nice to work with and were kind and helpful through all of the twists and turns we had thrown at them. They embroidered our white coats for our PA class in the VERY limited time span we had and were pleasant with us the whole time. I couldn't recommend this place more, they're great!

I've been dealing with them for at least 7 years. Never had a bad experience with my order or pick ups. My only concern is that it's very crowded in there. Other than that everyone is nice and cordial to me. The owner(Frank) is very cool.
Great service, excellent pricing and a perfect product. I had a small custom embroidery job done for some Polo's and they came out great. They sent a text with a preview and the colors were slightly off, I sent a reply with what they should be and a few minutes later got a response with the updated proof that was spot on what I wanted. Black on Black with a Gold accent. Can't recommend them more highly!!
