Theatre was actually closed when we were there but they have the most lovely courtyard in the rear of building - great place to relax and meet with our local neighborly cat "Vaska".

The theater is good, the actors are laid out and this is noticeable and felt. The repertoire is controversial, for three strong plays, one passage, half the room. Heard and seen - fine, the atmosphere is cozy, but without gloss, as many like.

Wonderful place with wonderful productions. It was a total of 5 different productions and each left an extremely positive impression.

One of the favorite places in St. Petersburg! A beautiful old theater with a good cast. The last time we went to "Transformation", I liked it in general, the young Actors pleased, well done! I often go to this theater. There are more successful performances, there are less. I personally liked the play Fathers and Sons after Turgenev. Although a little tight at the end.

I went to the play "Young Lady-Peasant" and liked it very much. The only drawbacks are chairs in the hall, prices in the buffet and cracks in the ceiling and walls. It betrays a special atmosphere, but still, cosmetic repairs would not hurt. The theater leaves pleasant impressions and one would like to return there again and again.

We watched "Not accepted call", not expected turn, everything seemed to be quite simple ... just for one evening all phone calls and SMS become the property of the company that jointly conducts the evening .... the situation unfolds .... It is penetrating. Recommend.

So do not rush to the queue after the performance. Decent buffet. About 20 rows. Forth tenth to sit is not the best solution. Optimum 3-6 row. The troupe, in my opinion, is assembled from a completely different level of actors. Several times became the winner of the Golden Mask Award. What you can find out by visiting the museum corner.
