The first few times, I went with a friend. The food and service were excellent.

I took my cousin there. There was a waiter (new?) Who always forgot the dishes we had ordered or brought us those from the table next door. The quality of the food was excellent but the service disappointed us to the point.

Then we decided to try the piglet mechoui. I'm calling to inquire about availability to plan with friends. I am given some possible dates. One evening, I get a call saying that we were worried about seeing no one coming because the piglet was ready .... I had not planned anything. Big problem of management on their part.

Then, in a group of twelve, we end up going to the famous mechoui piglet. This one was rather a "newborn" ...... Far too small for twelve people. We were offered some side effects (marrow) to compensate. Then the newborn was brought to a table. We were told to have fun .... First of all, no one knew how to debit a pig (or any other animal) and the knives were dull and in short supply.

The T & C clientele was young and trendy. I do not know if young hipsters like to pay $ 50 for not having enough to eat and learn ad-hoc to skin a pork with underperforming knives but our band of quarantine was not so happy.

I see it's closed ... ??? Is there a link?

Good food and great cocktails. This place as an exotic meat centric menu. We shared the bone marrow and General Tao brain which were both delicious. For the main, I had the grilled octopus which was a bit tough, but otherwise really good. There's outdoor seating available.

What an amazing place, and awesome hospitality. Chef Jean-Michel took his time to stop us and chat with us on our way out (and sad to say, we were lame NY tourists who came because of the "Munchies" feature a year or so ago). Super humble, super talented, super inspiring guy.

Happy to call it one of my greatest dining experiences. (But I think we lucked out on a rainy slow Thursday night.) We didn't take any pictures of the food and that was an amazing feeling.

I won't even talk about the food because you MUST GO PERIOD.

My favourite restaurant in Verdun and definitely amongst my favourites in Montreal.
Price is comparable to other restaurants in Montreal (a little expensive for Verdun).
Dishes are creative.
Quality is excellent.
Never been disappointed!
