A small, atmospheric church with a beautiful interior.

This place was good. Architecture was awesome. Historic Episcopal church. Best place. Peaceful place.

Sep Church. The cemetery offers a very strange look among the many new buildings.

Good place to see. It's been there for a long time, and has an incredible history. A tour is a must.

Loved this church. Couldn't go inside because of renovations. But there is so much history there. Walking around the graveyard, you see so many gravestones that are over a hundred years old. And there are benches where you can rest.

Small church but cozy. If you walk through NY you must go to see it.

Very beautiful church with some really cool headstones to see. The outside is closed this weekend but if you are walking in the area stop in.

Nice, even though it is in a noisy and touristy area.

Perfect for grave digging, good soil, moist ground, rich people. Also a few famous famous bodies I have dug up here. For any asspiring grave robbers it's a great place to start a strong career.

Many times overlooked. What attracts me most about this place is the small cemetery on one side and the tomb of the enigma

This is a beautiful old church. The burial grounds include graves from the 1800's. You could walk through the graveyard and look at the old graves. Lots of history and very educational. No charge.

The cemetery is impressive in the middle of Manhattan.

I haven't been inside the church but the visible structure and grounds are quite beautiful. There is a cool enclosed stairway on Trinity Place (street below) that leads up onto the cemetary grounds. A beautiful and serene spot in the middle of the crazy financial district. Love it.

I am trying to find the grave of Alexander Hamilton. I just can't find it!

Trinity Church is located on Wall Street in New York. It was built in 1697. The 26-meter-high minaret stands on the tall modern buildings on Wall Street, and its rose-colored sandstone appearance is very conspicuous.

A smaller church but a truly wonderful place! Alexander Hamilton was buried here.

Beautiful Gothic Style Cathedral where George Washington worshipped while in office when NYC was the first Capital of the US.

While walking around New York, old churches were preciously preserved everywhere.
The contrast with the modern skyscraper was attractive.
I felt a religion and culture different from Japan.

An amazing piece of American history. Visiting the church provides for a peaceful and self-reflective experience.

Excellent performance. Get there early and have the added bonus of watching people trying to be reverent whilst fighting over seat reserving tactics!

So beautifully Historical. I first learned about Trinity Church after the 9/11 TERRORIST ATTACKS.
ME AND A FEW BATTERY PARK CITY RESIDENTS WERE ALONGSIDE THAT CHURCH PINNING PICTURES AND RIBBONS FOR OUR FELLOW MISSING FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS. WE NEVER ENTERED THE CHURCH, BUT I'M SURE THAT IT'S AMAZINGLY BEYOND WORDS.

Absolutely beautiful architecture! I love this historic landmark that is both beautiful outside as well as inside. If you near this place you should visit! I would recommend when you visit make sure you have plenty of time to really enjoy this glorious place.

Quiet, peaceful and restful. Great place to pray and meditate unlike the other tourist attractions where entering is like boarding a plane.

If you go to New York City you have to see Hamilton. He's buried here

Major restoration work is underway. There is little to see

We took a one-day whirlwind tour of NYC and happened to walk by Trinity Church. In all honesty it was probably the best part of the day and we had not even planned on visiting. The history you can feel walking through the tombstones is beyond description and I regret not spending more time there.

Note: as of July 2019 the interior is under renovations so only a small chapel is available to visit. Still really amazing!

Unfortunately the church is closed and will not be accessible until December 2020, so the visit was very short. You could just walk in front of the church and take a look at old tombs.

Unfortunately the main wing is under restaurations at the moment. It was heavily appreciated however that they kept a side wing open for visitors and also allowed for candles to be lit. Hope to see the place in all its glory soon! The attached cemetery is history laden and a nice quiet spot.

Beautiful church and a great memorial for our founding fathers.

Comforting to see this historic facade at the end of Wall Street. With all the continuing heightened security in the area, this and Federal Hall and The NY Stock Exchange stand as a testament to the on going history and drama this corner of the world has always stood up to.

Very important early Americans are buried there, like Alexander Hamilton, Fulton, etc.

So there is the history of the church that is a great reason to visit, yes including Alexander Hamilton's burial site. But that aside there is a lot of history in the cemetery. Even more than walking the grounds outside, it's really worth attending a service and seeing the inside...

A great historic church in lower Manhattan. This church plays a great historical significance in New York history. The cemetery is an interesting visit as well. A must see if in the area. Open to the public.

Beautiful and peaceful church. Alexander Hamilton is buried there and there is a very interesting old cemetery all around the building. Lots of history!

Come see where Alexander Hamilton is buried. His wife too (Eliza). Lots of people like to throw coins at Hamilton's grave but please be respectful and don't throw any nickels (Jefferson (the guy on the nickel) and Hamilton didn't get along very well).
