Historic church right at the door step of Manhattan. Centuries old but still has it's charm.
Suggest to read about its history before visiting, which would make it even more special.

Charging bull and NYSE are right next door.

The heart of Wall Street. Amazon place. Definitely visit once.

This charming Church was built in 1846 and was for a while the tallest structure in NY. Nowadays it is dwarfed by its neighbours but is still a lovely respite from the Wall Street rat race. A historic site and the attached cemetery is good for a stroll as well. Right in the center of Wall Street, the Trinity Church has been significant to New York City's history for over 300 years. It is beautiful and has an absolutely sublime cemetery adjacent to the church building. Worth the detour!

Very beautiful New York church charged with history. It is surrounded by the last cemetery still used on the island of Manathan. It is an extraordinary sight to see this church planted in the midst of gigantic bulding. See if you are in the Wall Street area.

Beautiful, even if it is small, that makes it more welcoming. It also has a small cemetery. I recommend your visit. It is in the financial district. And it is not too long a visit. It transmits peace amid so much bustle.

Trinity Church contain the oldest graveyard in the United States, with at least one of the grave getting back before 1700. In addition, Alexander Hamilton is buried here, along with at least one of his relatives.

Such history! Currently undergoing asbestos abatement so nave is closed. Small chapel open. Cemetery is lovely and some graves are marked for significant historical figures. I love the toll of the clock tower bells!

Right across the street from the New York Stock Exchange, the Trinity Church cemetery is home to some of the oldest tombstones in the city. The gorgeous architecture and historic value make it well worth the downtown trip.

A New York City sanctuary! This is sacred ground. It is still under careful renovations but go access what you may. Trinity Church in downtown Manhattan is an absolute must see, once the renovations are finished. It is rich in architectural history. This is historic New York at its best. The grave sites here go back to the 1700s, which in itself is amazing. Located on Broadway right near Wall Street, behind Liberty Park, this church somehow was saved from the tragedy of 911 and it was right next to it. It was as if God would not let anything happen to the church and the people buried there. I've been to this church several times and the inside of it is absolutely beautiful. It is a small cathedral that basically explains how important religion was at that time in NYC. I've even had the chance to light a candle there. It is very peaceful and tranquil and a reminder to all that visit, that regardless of the noise of the buildings around it, and the tragedy that once loomed, there is still a sanctuary that was untouched during the 911 mishap. Make sure you visit this Church, sometime soon. Cherish it. Very peaceful place.
