I literally never do this but it's gotten out of hand.
Consistently bad customer service experience. I'm afraid to call the main line as the man I speak to is always combative and unwilling to help or provide necessary information, including email proof of order, invoice, or shipping info. I placed a large order on behalf of the author with her discount code which they wouldn't accept unless I emailed proof that our publishing contact provided it. They also wouldn't accept payment by PO from our school (which frequently works with them) because this was the first time that I, personally, was placing an order. They wanted me to purchase a small number of books and pay with credit card to "earn credit" with their company. Just now I requested an invoice but this confused them and instead they placed a second identical large order. I'm not sure if it's just the multiple individuals I've been in contact with or if it's the company as a whole but it feels like they have not updated their business processes to satisfy the needs of customers in the current digital age.
