Went during the pandemic and they were great, following the guidelines well spacing people much further than the required amount which made us feel safer. Staff were lovely and so was the food. Even the fussy 7 year old liked the food.

Food is delicious, we have now become regular visitors every week. Great place for great deals on food, they have 2 for 1 on food through the week (cheapest free), they also have the same deal on Sunday dinners. They have seating area at the front of the building and at the back - I think it's also a dog friendly pub aswell (not sure if it's certain areas in the pub though)

Service was fast and efficient, the staff are excellent. I ordered the fish and chips and I'm not sure what happened but I was missing the other half of my fish !! Use the chips for size reference.. one chip is nearly the length of the fish!

What a absolute joke! Rang up 40 minutes prior to arrival to Book a table to be told that we didn't need to book a table as they're not that busy and if they were when we turned up the wait would be around 10 minutes max, happy days! So we thought, we then drove 30 minutes to the trigger pond, walked through the front door to be told that there is no space for us and we explained we had called but was told we didn't need to book, even though this was explained we were point blank refused, and refused rudely by staff, absolute shambles of a pub, up yours the trigger pond

We had a family birthday party at the Trigger Pond. We ordered nacho as starters and it's worst one I've ever had. I had an halloumi vegetarian burger that was advertised as golden holloumi which I would expect to be grilled but it was raw. We ordered a kids cheese pizza that my son wouldn't eat as the base tasted rubbery. A big disapointment and would definitely not return and recommend.

Prices have doubled but portions are smaller. Dirty tables and chairs (thought the lockdown would have been a great opportunity to clean through) and kids being allowed to run around and climb all over tables and chairs. Not acceptable when we're going through a pandemic. Used to love this place and was always great value for money. Wont ever visit again.

Absolutely appauling service, i had never been here before and thought i would try it as i have been informed it is a nice place to dine out, i called to make a reservation for a table at 5:45 to be booked for 6:30 was advised not to book a table as they are not busy and we can walk in, arrived at 6:20 after a 30 minute drive to get here to be point blank refused entry as they had no tables, terrible service added to the list of places to never be visted again.
