I m currently a student attending trident technical college and I must say it s an ok college for 2 years. I will say be aware you may get a professor that will not assist you on much of anything. I am in the IT program and I will say I do not suggest it. You obtain little to no help when it is requested, the exercises you are given to work do not help you whatsoever. If you plan on doing IT I suggest a different college.

It's an amazing experience to be able to come to the school's campus and explore the area where you'll be taking college courses. It's also wonderful to know that there are many people there who are willing to aid you with any classwork.
The Trident Technical College main Thornley campus on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is a well maintained college campus that has everything . They have really good programs and classes that get students ready for careers and the next step. I have enjoyed being a part of programs and events on this campus and have been impressed.
Great staff. They were very helpful and eager to make a plan toward my goals. Any questions or concerns were addressed and they helped me feel secure in my decision making.
Awful place, was verbally bullied by other students for wearing my veteran attire. One guy kept calling me POG but I don't even know what that means. The school does not offer any safe spaces.
If you want your time wasted apply here. Been driving back and forth to this school to speak with staff cause no one seems to be productive. Advisors don t advise just recommend you use the online portal great job taking care of others future.
If I could I wouldn t even give them a one star. Staff are not very helpful you ask them a question they send you to all over the place and none of these people seem to know the answer. Everyone here is always rude if you are lucky you will get someone nice. Also make sure to pay attention if you have someone register you for classes because it happened to me they told me I was set and registered for classes the day before classes I noticed I didn t have anything on D2 L so I went to the school on the first day of the semester and someone told me I was never registered for classes. I had to go register for classes and didn t even get some of the classes I was supposed to be in. After I was done I didn t get an apology or anything. I am the one paying for these people so they should have been very nice to me and apologize. Keep in mind I was very nice to them even though I probably should have been very rude So take my advice and be careful I don t recommend it s been a very big headache here for the last two years and I am so glad to be done.
