My native language is Dutch so please forgive me for any grammatical mistakes. What I like about Mark (and TMG in general) is that I feel like a valid member of the family. Mark checks up on me and the other authors very regularly: he treats everyone as equally as another. What I most appreciate about Mark is he always seems to have time for his authors, he checks details that others would never bother with, explores avenues others would never have thought of - AND he genuinely enjoys reading your books. It s really a great, a rare combination and I d recommend him to anyone. I started writing books in the last century! If I knew then, what I know now, I think I would have done many things very differently, because what I discovered over the years was that really, publishing is a jungle and you need not so much a khaki sunhat and sunglasses as a very, very good pathfinder. One you can trust implicitly and who won t run off and abandon you at the first sound of growling from the depths.
