"No One Trains You At trinalge tech" should be the saying. Attented the school, got my degree 2008 pittsburgh. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy, all lies. It was horrible please do more research on reviews before going here. I would if i could go back and do it all over again just go to college. This place is a joke, any question or detail email me.
My instructors were wonderful instructors and very knowledgeable. The school itself is another story. It is very chaotic and unprofessional. My program, along with I m sure other programs, were way understaffed. They switched to all online class in my program to compensate for their lack of staff. In my opinion, if you don t have enough instructors to run a school, you have no business running a school. The switch to online completely diminished all quality of education. I did not enroll in Triangle Tech to do solely online classes. They might as well be writing their diplomas in crayon. I would not recommend this school to anyone! The response by Triangle Tech is a complete lie. We are online every other day to limit capacity for Covid-19 and in-person every other day. But the every other day we are supposed to be in-person, we were told to bring our laptops to the in-person days so we can do classes online on the in-person days. I have physical proof of this.
My company recruits students from Triangle tech every year. They are good students with positive attitudes who know the basic skills.
The administrative staff & teachers are wonderful to work with. They truly want the best for students who enter their program. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a career change or any construction business looking for workers.
Went there for 3 quarters and dropped a quarter because of corona virus and they wouldn't let me back in (unless I waited a full year) because it wouldn't be "profitable" for them. i had a 4.0 GPA. really just upsetting

I made a quick choice to go to school here thought it would be a great idea to use my education benefits.shortly after signing papers and attending and a few days of botched classes wasted class time .This school made us feel like it was money wasted by unprofessional instructors.
Administration continuously covering for them when valid complaints was rather brushed off and quickly reminded we don t have to attend this school simply told to go elsewhere. Knowing they had my money anyways. Don t send your high school graduates here don t come to this place. Triangle Tech does not care what kind of quality of training you receive while attending.
Ghetto trade school in a ghetto location. Not a college and most instructors are not teachers. Who needs technical mathematics or writing class? I could have done great things and travelled to beautiful places. Instead I wasted my time and money. Now I am struggling to pay off my student loan. Most students I assume are good people. Some students are on hard drugs or are felon convict jail birds. Any good school would not let criminals attend. There were students who came to class strapped with a house arrest unit. Am up to date on my loan but still got $15000 of student debt after 2 years of making payments. Half of the payments is for interest. I graduated only half of my class did. If a students attendance is below required level they should be expelled. It is not likely they will have perfect attendance third and fourth semester. I did not want to buy the overpriced tools. You can buy tools as a kit for way below retail. Triangle Tech will charge you retail per piece. Already had boxes of tools.They want money almost every semester.Triangle Tech is a vampire sucking money out of the students. Get 1000 student aid every semester but that only puts you in more debt. One mouthy student was expelled for saying no one trains you at Triangle Tech when a tour group was in the class. 2 carpentry students were expelled for drinking beer in the parking lot. One student was expelled for having a rifle in his car in the parking lot. And one student was expelled for buying and selling pills. Ain't no cure for being stupid, lol. Compare the price per year to a real college with real teachers before wasting your time and money. Had one lazy old instructor who I will not name who was late for class every day. If this review gets removed I will just make another one!
They cannot keep teachers, most "teachers" aren't qualified to teach. They know their trade, great, but they can't run a class. Also, the campus is located in a bad neighborhood. Pittsburgh's North Side.
