They denied me a dog. Since I had a dog in the past they want records which are in storage. And they require a Fence which my property can't be fenced because there is no way to close it off, and it is an additional expense. This forces me to buy from the breeder. Also the governor's closure preventing me from adopting a dog especially a sheltie. I like this breed, Since I had a sheltie recently which just passed away in May of 2020, I would like to get another one.
At Triangle Sheltie Rescue we want the best of the best homes for the dogs that come into our program. We require a vet. check to ensure your previous pets received proper medical care. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the state we are performing a yard check instead of a home check. Please note a fence is required to adopt, ****Automatic Gate Closures are required*** to adopt (no exceptions),.
