After researching where to get a COVID test, I read on the Milford Regional Physician Group website that they will provide free testing to symptomatic patients (fully covered by insurance). I went in, asked to get a COVID test, got my test, left. Weeks later i received a bill for almost $500!!!! After calling multiple different phone numbers, I found out that they charge you for office visits and they do NOT disclose it to patients when they request a test. I am unbelievably upset with this and will never be going back. Be advised.
My wife had a zoom call with the doctor that lasted no more than 10 minutes and was charged $138... That's AFTER insurance coverage! So they bill $320 per "office visit" even if it's done over Zoom for a fraction of the time an actual visit would take. This is ABSURD!!
This is a corporate office, not a shopping or travel destination. How do you rate that?
