So this is such a dope young adult experience. They have arcades on the bottom. 2nd floor is a honk bar. 3rd floor is a dance floor bar. Then you go to the fire exit and it is also a dance floor. which connects to another dance bar. it's just layers of funness

Cool place. Its 3 stories with arcade games. The place gets packed and is a tight fit. The cigarette smoke can be difficult to get away from.

A lot of fun. Love the pinball machines. The place has a nice mix of the new and of retro games from yesteryear.

It's a good time, kinda cramped but it works. The bars are good, the games are fun. This arcade runs on tokens that you need to pay with cash for, though...it's not modern at all.

Really packed little place and really not that fun of an arcade bar. Nothing to exciting here. Also 90% of the people who are trying to play these games dont even know where and how they came to be. Drinks are not the best but still kind of fun to wrap up the night at

Fine place to go play old-style Arcade Games and get a decent drink. The music on the 3rd Floor gets LOUD late-night though, so if you don't like the bass altering your heartbeat, stay downstairs or hang out early.

Pretty fun place to hang out and get a drink. Mostly a younger crowd. Can be crowded at times but it's definitely worth a visit.

Good bar in town to play some games and have some drinks. They usually have some nice microbrews available (typically bottled/canned). Sometimes the 3rd floor is so loud you can t hear yourself think. Good selection of games but not outstanding. No comparison to Player 1 Bar in Orlando but nice place in Gainesville to go on a weekend night.

Very small and limited bar, not as many games as I expected. But the games they did have were awesome and the bartender was great!

Great place with many video games, sometimes even too crowded, but you can be kicked off from it a few minutes before they close ... and employee even don't let you finish a game /: that's exactly what happened to us last time. Stop coming there, found place with much better attitude.

This is a full arcade with 3 levels of games and two bars.

Best games in town. They recently got a bee game where ten people can play, It is super fun! Drinks are great too. Sometimes the alley way is open between the Atlantic. Alley has a DJ as well when it is busier. Love to come here!

This is a gritty, younger-crowd (undergrads) place to come hang out with friends. Buy tokens at the bar downstairs and you can play a wide variety of arcade games - both new and old. I came here on a weekend and it was quite crowded and a bit loud for conversation.

Old school cabinets of retro video games a d good selection of beers and cocktails. This place also has a really rar, super fun, game called Killer Queen too.

I loved all the times I've been there! they have maaaany options of games, and the idea is great to have that in a bar.

Best bar in Gainesville in my opinion. Bubble Hockey is my favorite. DJ on the weekends on the third floor makes for a fun time.

What a great concept for a bar I am 58 and had the time of my life there

Kind of disappointed. Went around 5 p.m. on a Saturday, with my husband, and was NOT welcomed. Wanted to play ski ball, because it's my favorite, and was told that the particular floor was closed "every g** dam*** day" until 8 p.m., and several other snarky comments were made about how that staff member was the only one there and he couldn't take care of multiple floors. There was NO ONE else there... Extremely offensive, and rude. We'd made plans to spend several hours there, playing ski ball and drinking, but they definitely lost that dough

So sad to hear that barcade will kick out males because a lady said so. The lady was upset because her man was elbowing me and my friend and I asked him kindly to stop. He proceeded to keep interrupting our night and then the lady told barcade staff. Barcade staff aka Stephen decided to kick us out no questions asked. I am all for justice but this is not the way to conduct yourself. No one ever asked about the man that was elbowing us. If we are being fair then there would have been more done about this. Barcade is fun unless you upset a friend that is not following social norms. Very disappointed in the way your staff operates. Considered Gainesville citizen.

Very cool place!!! Had so much fun playing Skeeball and other 80's game. 3 floors of pure awesomeness!

Just an overall grate vibe. Perfect for dates looking to do something fun and different. I love when the 3rd floor is hopping and everyone is dancing. Great balance of fun. A must stop when jumping around downtown.

Love the atmosphere. This is the only good barcade in Gainesville. There are 3 floors with different vibes to each. They even have Skee ball! My and my friends usually come here if we don't know where to go.

Awesome. You can get $5 of tokens on debit / credit card or tie out of cash.

The arcade bar is a whimsical multi-story arcade game palace with cheap beer, a few nice drafts, and liquor if you like it.

Awesome environment. Great layout. Separation of bottom floors and the top lend to a good change of scenery/vibe as well as the dj in the outside alley creating a comfortable party experience.

Interesting place with old arcade games, good prices

Pretty sweet place and glad to have a local pinball arcade at all! My review comes as strictly a pinball player and not a bar Patron as I don't drink. Otherwise my review would be 5 stars but the bar atmosphere is actually a bit of an detraction for me as the music is quite loud and you can barely hear the pinball machines or conversation with your friends. I doubt this is going to be true for most people who come so that's mostly just a personal gripe.

My only other issues would be that I would like to see a bigger selection of tables and the token machines replaced with quarters. The machines they do have are cool though Addams Family, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Theater magic, Ghostbusters, Medieval Madness, and more. They were in good working order although Addams Family was down for maintenance like it is everywhere I've ever seen it and the Creature from the Black Lagoon figure light up display wasn't working correctly but again that seems to be ubiquitous to every pinball arcade I've ever been to. I think these particular machines are just very touchy.

As I mentioned their machines use tokens or they did the last time I was in a few months ago and not quarters. Not a fan of the token mechanic as I have to keep hitting up the machine or the bar tender for more.

Last time in was a few months ago so some of these issues may have been addressed by now. Overall a fun and laid-back place and I am glad they are around!

I go there almost every weekend for a beer or 2, and it's always great service and fun. Long haired skinny dude on the bottom floor is always super nice and fast, and has a good memory. Great music and games, fun for the whole family!

I love the idea of a place where adults can drink and play games, but it is INSANELY crowded and ridiculously hot. Nothing about all those heat-producing machines and just about zero ventilation seems like a good idea. I wish there were better games as well. But despite these downfalls, I know I'll still be going back to visit, for whatever that's worth.

Bars on 2 different floors, and a bunch of cool 80s style arcade games. Could you ask for anything better?

Cool little space with lots of neat arcade games. It's 3 stories but pretty small so it can be very cramped when it's crowded.

Its okay very crowded little room. hard to play games cause its that crowded. Drinks taste and price are both average compared to other bars. Not much of selection of games I'd say maybe 15-20 games (not free)

cool idea, coin machine steals money, put in $10 didn't get any tokens, put another dollar in and got 3. Played my $11 game of pinball and the ball got stuck in the top area on launch every time.

One of a kind with old arcade games, awesome dj's, an outdoor alley, and connects to the club, the Atlantic, which is hot for live music and dancing! Awesome crowd. I always see friends here!

Super trendy, and styled after the best of 80s pop culture, this place is a haven for the hip and geeky alike! They even support local breweries. Prices can be steep though, and games are not free, so bring a lot of cash.
