Treasure Island Resort & Casino Review

Lots of fun, would of liked it if the non-smoking section was a litter more segregated as smokers were right next to us. Awesome food, and great staff!

It is a smaller casino which is nice not feeling like you are lost all the time. They allow smoking and so it is pretty bad with 2-hand smoke. They have a small non-smoking area but itis packed with people trying to escape the larger casino. It was hard to found a slot machine available. Staff are very friendly!

Great time. Good food. Buffalo Tower rooms need USB ports.

Great time has lots of fun although they shutdown bars a bit before which normally wouldn t be a problem but at that point there is nowhere do get a drink of water I asked an employee and they told me either a vending machine which would charge me $2 or mongo bay which had a line which looked about 30 minutes long. I understand why you can t have self service beverages right now but there s got to be a better way

Easy to follow layout, love cosmic bowl, their weekend free entertainment is wonderful. Better than mystic!!

The concerts here are amazing! I ve been to see Foreigner and Joan Jett/Eddie Money and they were both wonderful! There is not a bad seat in the venue! My one complaint would be the security. In this day and age, the venues need to be thorough to make sure no one sneaks anything in. Both times that I went, they had those metal detector wands sitting on the table, but they didn t use them on me or my friend. I could have had something taped to my back and I would have gotten in without a hitch. Not that I ever would, but you never know what could happen. I don t intend to stop going to concerts here, but I wish they would improve their security. I d rather them be over secure, than under secure.

Fun place to stay but the water slides close to early.

Had the brunch buffet while my wife did a little gambling, everything very good.

Lost all my money left angry,no drink servers no greeting just took money and left...no fun.

Overall nice place. Went to see a comedy stand-up act and was a nice venue. Will comeback again for sure!

RV park is a parking lot. Not worth the money. No internet or cable. They charge a tax??? Its an Indian reservation. Charge extra for event. When Hinckley doesn t charge extra!!!

They were really rude to us because we didn't want to buy time share or vacation group..

Always good times at the casino when you leave ahead! Also saw the Nelly concert that night. It was awesome except for the people blocking the isles and security and casino staff weren't too good at getting them back to their seats.

The hotel prices suck on concert and event nights, but otherwise I give the hotel and gaming experience 4stars overall ... For the travel distance though, you'd likely expect more perks, but yeah 4stars...

Was going to the buffet with the family. Qe just missed the brunch buffet. We were pretty hungry, so we went to the other restaurant there. Must say, it was good, and the server was pleasant.

Long lines for the buffet, which is to be expected.

Spent some time in the pool area with my daughter. The hot tub was colder then the pool was. There was a lot of chlorine too.

The rooms were comfy.

Plenty of options in the casino part! Won some money every time I've gone there.

This casino has drastically changed in the past year. Machines are tight and you never see personnel paying a winner anymore. Constant senseless remodeling; food prices soaring; higher paying bingo games removed from program; lack of all personnel, as well as "knowledgeable" personnel. It once was a silk purse that is on it's way to becoming a sow's ear.

I went to a concert in the new outdoor amphitheatre everything was great except for the seats. They were so small and tight together that a normal to large adult does NOT fit in them they are too narrow and close together there is no room between your shoulders and the person next to you. And to sit down the armrests hit you on both sides of your hips and legs. Very uncomfortable.

My first time there. I like how they have a place for your children to chill while the adults go and do their thing. Very nice place.

The event was well planned and the setting was clean. The food was amazing, would definitely come back.

Our family likes the brunch! Now there is no more. There was nothing for kids! Please bring it back brunch on Sunday. It was way better before.

I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was spacious and had a mini fridge. The casino was packed and the cigarette smoking was a deterrent. The blackjack dealers were a blast and were helpful to those of us who were new. I wsnt to a show in the amphitheater which was great. Spacious seating, great sound. They had food trucks set up, but needed more options and staff as drink lunches were outrageously long.

Usually it s a wonderful experience. I was truly looking forward to the riverboat excursion and all you can eat prime rib dinner. The staff on board the boat absolutely fantastic!, however they ran out of Prime Rib. As per the room It was a horrible especially the last night ( of 4) all kinds of problems with the room, pool area was unkept, changing area cold & floor slimy. Incorrect information by staff members adding to the chaos on top of that spoke with a male general manager he didn t seem to care at all or offer anything other than a weak apology & excuses, maybe if I was a high-stakes gambler they would ve cared more, I was only there as a reward for working so hard, I was absolutely exhausted by time I left not relaxed or refreshed. Valet & Bellhop we re always on point.

Really big place, not impressed by hotel policy on checking in!

I lost my phone here and they did nothing to help. They didnt look at the cameras, didnt help me look, and didn't even let me use a phone behind the desk. This happened to me at mystic and they found where I left it right away. I'll definitely be traveling the extra few miles to mystic from now on.

We went to the Earth, Wind and Fire concert. Our tickets cost $80 then they tacked a $12 fee. So our floor tickets cost $92 each. The tickets were a birthday gift for me. My daughter and I both were very disappointed in the seats. We were seated at the far left of the stage and could barley see the stage. Our seats were damm near sitting under the projector scearn. Needless to say we didn't see anything. Very disappointing!

Went there for Rodney Carrington concert. Everything was easy to find and well marked. Check in was wuick and painless as well, plus there is a free shuttle that runs through the parking lot. I ate at the Currents restaurant that is on site after the show and staff were friendly and service was fast. Food was very tasty, but not as warm as I would have liked. Would go again.

Nice hotel but the food sucks.
We stayed here for a long weekend and chose the suite with a hot tub. The room was great and came with two bathrooms, a living room area and a separate room with a king sized bed.
The pool area was kind of small but it was nice to have a separate side for adults. There was a swim up bar area, but they could use a drink menu.
The casino itself? Well, it s a typical smokers paradise. One moment your in the non-smoking section and the next moment you have someone lighting a cigarette next to you. There wasn t much to keep the smoke away from you.
That brings me to the food... All of it was very disappointing. The buffet had a good selection but all of it was bland. The other restaurants where nothing special. Check out the photos from other people on the steak house.
Overall an ok trip away.

Loved it! Had a great time by the pool and bar, won a few hundred at the casino, ate at the steakhouse in which the rib eye is fantastic medium rare.. definitely coming back!

It is great place and fun. A little smoky but what else should I expect? The buffet is delicious.

We went for the all u can eat seafood buffet and haven't been there since the remodel. The place looks great the only thing is having to wait to get seated then having to wait to get food. The lines were not properly formed.

Constant disrespect and disregard from all of the employees. Food was so/so, and it smelled like smoke INSIDE of the restaurants. We got a nice view of the power plant next door, and there were BUGS all over the room, not to mention no microwave or cooler. I couldn't find myself but complaining the entire time.

Food wasgood at the buffet but the restaurant still was full of cigarette smoke very poor quality in the building

The visit was ok but the so called jacuzzi suite was a huge disappointment. For starters it was very small. The hide a bed couldn't even be pulled out without the couch being right up against the bedroom doors and TV stand at the foot of it. Popcorn was on top of every picture in the room. Dust everyplace.. Woodwork carving on everything. Missing drawer. And all for just an EXTRA $80.00 on top of reg room rates..so for just over $200 a night we got crap.. If they try to give you suite 345 ask for a different room!!!

Dont say in the wolf tower! Ceiling was peeling, drain to the shower was broken and water was dripping. Wall paper peeling off. Only good thing was it was child friendly when it came to the water park.

I enjoy the casino. The restaurant was really good. The casino has a great birthday permotion.

The worst experience ever. Robert S. Is the worst! He is the most rude person ! No respect to the guests at all. The pool for kids was close for 2 hours and slides since 11:00 am it is 3:30pm the lacy river is packed , no body else can go there. He kick out us from the outside spa! He said we are short, if you don't like it don't bring your kids, you know where is the door and remember no money back! That is RUDE! He did it to another two families! Think about it before you waist your money. There is better places and casinos around.

All in all, it's probably the best casino in Minnesota (machines, decore, etc.). However, some nights when you go you will be treated like absolute dirt by the staff, and treated like a total moron. The dealers will make fun of you for not understanding something and will berate you in front of other guests. My experiences here are typically not terrible, but when I went tonight I was surrounded by the nastiest staff I've ever met. It was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had, and I highly doubt I will ever come back.

Wonderful dinner at Tado's as usual. This steakhouse is a must for all who are looking for a great dining experience.

Rooms are dated, but comfortable. Staff is friendly. We enjoyed the waterpark with our 2 and 6 year old children. Only complaint is that there aren't clear walkways between the hotel and restaurants. You have to weave through slot machines and card tables -- annoying players if you happen to have a toddler screaming that she wants to "play with the toys" (slot machines).

If you're looking to have fun gambling here, don't bother. Over the past two years the machines have gotten worse and worse to the point where they've lost many many regulars. They have a nice hotel which they recently added on to and added a nice water park. Alcohol isn't too expensive either.

Always great service, both in the hotel and the casino. The rooms are nice and clean. The employees are friendly and fun. The location is secluded but not too far from the cities. We go to Treasure Island many times a month.

The food is excellent the the staff is friendly and look after all your needs

The lagoon pool was amazing. Wish they could of had one big pool tho. Everything else was cool though.

Went there to play Bingo. The announcer was horrible. She started off by saying this is a professional bingo hall, and the I couldn't understand another word she said the whole time. Good thing they has TVs that show what balls come up.

The renovation looks great. Love the new machines. And the food is great as always

Absolutely one of the worst casino and their Blackjack dealer name Katrina had really poor customer service which made my first experience at TI the most horrible memory ever. Katrina made rude comments to all the players at the table where I was at and when we made a complaint to the floor Supervisor, nothing was resolved. If I can give this casino no star I would.

Attended a Gary Allan concert on a Saturday night. We also attended the same concert 2 years ago, and noticed that the place is extremely packed. Parking is an interesting situation with having to park at the rarest spots on a cold night. Other than night we have no complaints. The event center is a nice place and provides a great view of the stage no matter where the tickets are. Floor seats are banquet style dining chairs and somewhat uncomfortable.

Had a blast listening and fancying tip the 80s metal cover band!

Horrible from beginning to end. The buffet would be the only thing I could recommend, even that you'd have to search to find.

Got the Jacuzzi suite. In the older part of the resort. It was a Sunday night, not sure why we didn't get a newer one. The updated ones are amazing.

Staff were outstanding and went above and beyond in service! 10/10 lived the lady that helped me get my pearl card!

Had a fantastic time here. Really only stayed in the adult pool area. Didnt see much of the property.

They needed more bartenders in the swim up bar. Also they seemed crabby. Anyways still had a good time.

Worst casino to ever gamble at. Just sucks your money soooooo fast you can't even get a chance to get checked into your room. No play time at all.

They lie when they say they are cleaning a lot. Piles of empty bottles,glasses,ashtrays overflowing everywhere, ashes all over. The place obviously hadnt been touched in hours and hours.

Super smokey and you could see smoke stains on the ceiling. The buffet was no well maintained alot of the food was sitting so long it was dried up.

I didnt stay at the hotel. I attended an outdoor concert. The venue was great, lots of options for drinks and food, They had a corona preparty which we really enjoyed. The staff and security were veey nice and helpful. We had seating but they also offer grass seats. We parked in the casino parking lot and we were out within minutes, no waiting. I would definately go back for another show.

TI is a nice resort and casino. There are a lot of amenities. Arcade, bowling, lagoon pool area, Kids Quest, buffets, gambling, etc. Nice place to visit! Hotel rooms could use some maintenance and upgrades.

Not enough staff for guests. Never got service at pool bar so just left. Hotel room was maybe on star quality. I'll find another casino to go to in MN.

This was my first time at Treasure Island and I enjoyed everything except for the overwhelming smell of smoke and the terribly designed parking lot. I thought the venue was great; not a bad seat in the place.

The venue was good, although I would have loved to stay at the hotel afterwards. The hotel didn't have availability even though I booked for the event as soon it was announced.

I love going here, whether as an overnight stay or for just a few hours of slot play. The buffet is always good with hot, tasty food choices and the staff is exceptional.

Tight slots, ran through all my money very quickly.

All you can eat crab legs Thursday night. Bowling too. Great combo.

Nice casino but really smokey, wish they had a bigger non smoking room or rooms with more slots in it, very nice hotel and swimming pool
