BEWARE... Trappe Pediatrics allows the administrat...

BEWARE... Trappe Pediatrics allows the administrative staff (those that book appointments) to do the initial triage (the initial assessment and decision about the priority level of care to provide) to your child. 'IF' you can get an appointment with the pediatricians, they are wonderful (Dr. Brogan specifically). However, the administrative desk is not to be trusted with the health of anyone's child.

I have been with this pediatrician practices for the past 5yrs. Since 2020, the capabilities of the administrative staff have declined. I highly recommend to other mothers, find another practice.

Doctors are great. Only issue i have is that they can t keep my children straight and after doing bloodwork on one child I got a call as if it was another child. Bloodwork ordered does not seem a priority and I m still awaiting information for blood work from a week ago. The front desk staff is rude and The wait time when calling in is crazy. I moved here for the Doctors and i ll stay for that. But clearly going to have to get used to the drawbacks as that s clearly not changing, obviously based on how many reviews say the same thing.

All of the Doctors and Nurses are WONDERFUL!! A busy office which is understandable for Doctors that are as good as theirs however a select few of their administrative staff are not friendly and cannot handle the volume of calls and patients they receive. It is often very hard to get through to schedule an appointment with hold times often upwards of ten minutes or more to often be placed on hold again. This practice is amazing where it really counts--the doctors and their bedside manner!

Like others here, I like the doctors very much, the nurses are pretty good, but the administrative side of working with Trappe Pediatric is quite challenging. 15-30 minute wait on the phone is common, and I expect it. Calling to make an appointment is challenging, and trying to get the nurse on call is as challenging. It's frustrating feeling that the doctors are good but that the office doesn't support you . It may be an Einstein thing, but either way, we are considering changing doctors due to this inconvenience. I hope it can be addressed so we don't have to leave our doctor :/

Dr. Warsi is our pediatrician and I absolutely love him. He is the best Doctor I have ever interacted with. When I bought my daughter home he took so much time explaining everything to me, he has never rushed me, dismissed a concern or been anything less than amazing. Dr. Warsi understands mothers and kids on a deep level, he just gets it. I could not recommend him more.

Love the doctors. Nurses are great too. However, the receptionists are rude and for about 85-90% of my visits there has been a problem - for example: several times they have not been able to locate my sons medical records (this happened at our first 4 or 5 visits after we moved to the area 2 years ago) other times they did not schedule my appointment correctly and I had to wait longer because I was not in their books. One time here or there is ok to make a mistake, we all make them but this many times? I'm a working mom, I don't have time for this practice to not have it together.

Everyone is super friendly and extremely nice. We never have to wait to get in and if I call with a question, all the employees are helpful and respond in a timely manner. I love going here and so glad they treat my baby girl with such care!

I am happy with Trappe Pediatrics. Dr Vitalli, Dr Brogan, and all the nurses are great. The front staff always acknowledges me, even if they can t help me right away. Not giving the 5th star because of Dr Warsi. He s dismissive and makes me feel like I m crazy for any concerns I have as a first time mom. Another first time mom in the area was asking for pediatrician recommendations, and I said Trappe pediatrics. It turns out, that s where she goes and wanted to leave after her experiences with Dr Warsi. It s not that he s a bad pediatrician, but part of working with kids is working with parents. He s bad at that part, in my opinion.

Giving two star for ONLY ONE good doc there (who is never available and cancels sooo many appointments on you). But you mostly deal with rude nurces and extremely rude front reception staff.

They refused to see us when my kid had 105 fever and we needed a prescription for a better med (over the counter did not work) so we ended up going to ER and sat in line for nearly 4 hours (not the best experience with sick two year old). The registered nurce on duty will never pick up the phone and rarely calls back.

Not what I expect from the office we have been going to since the baby was born.

Last strike was: the office to reschedule same appointment 3 (!) Times (the initial appointment was made 6 months prior). If you a working parent like I am good luck getting off of work within 24 hour notice because your doc decided to take a day off. And then another one and then he is sick and after he is on vacation for two weeks...

Customer Service. I have actually been on hold for 40 minutes and then drove to the facility while on the phone. Always hard to get an appointment. I think this is an Einstein issue because other Einstein office I have called I have gone through the same issue. Just called the doc told them my son has lost 13 lbs in 7 weeks and their answer was well we dont know when we can get him in. I said I just need a referral for a GI and I have taken him to the ER already and they told me to see you ."well we need to see him first and we don't know when that will be." If you are that backed up then you need to hire more doctors. American Greed......love it. I bet they have tons of people to make sure they are collecting the payments.

It takes a long time to get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment. For example, my last call was a wait of over 30 minutes, and my son has been sick for awhile. I'm just trying to follow the Dr.s instructions from last visit. Plus, every visit seems to be "a wait and see" approach. So I pay for them to tell me let's wait 2 days, and if the next time the same symptoms occur, I wait 2 days, they say let's wait 3 days, then 4 days.

Rude front desk. It always feels like an inconvenience when I call or show up. The doctors are great but I cannot continue to go to a place where I feel unwelcomed. My patience is thin after this last call. On hold for a long time, not listening, and rude. Is this how customer service is now? No, thanks. The front desk is the face of the business. Finding another doctor's office.

Our son has seen almost every doctor at Trappe Pediatric and while we have our preferences, we were happy with every one of them. They are good with scheduling and we haven't had any paperwork or insurance issues.

We love Trappe Peds! We have not had a bad experience yet. I've never once felt rushed or passed over. Each provider has taken the time to answer all of my questions. We even had an issue with a pharmacy and the doctor called be himself. I wish the phone service was opened early or there was an hour in the morning for nurse-line phone calls. But over all we have no complaints. I know how much time is spent with our family and so when they are running a little behind I can understand, plus they all (assistants and providers) are always apologetic.

I lost count for how many times our appointment times have gotten screwed up here for my toddler. And then it's always my fault according to the receptionists here. But no in my calendar, never schedule the times we are told they scheduled each time. Switching doctors.
