The food and drinks here are delicious and the ambiance is very comforting. My favorite is the potato soup on a cold day.

The Rainbow Trout was extraordinary. Everything else was delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Very authentic.

This is the real deal! Old-school Polish food down to the details (like the combinations of pierogi fillings; bacon-potato-cheese, another meat combo, mushroom-cabbage and cherry) - but with a modern twist (like pasta twirled with a soft Polish cheese). Also housemade soups and sausages. (Note to Tradycja: please create a veggie sausage option!) We went with my (Polish-American) in-laws and everyone gave this cozy place a thumbs-up. Highly recommend!

I LOVE Polish food and this place did it right. The inside was very nice and decorated. I am polish myself and I LOVE this restaurant. I highly recommend if this is your first time trying polish food.

The cuisine is delicious, presented artistically and a nice blend of authentic dishes and American. The salmon was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Nice flavor. Great cocktails too. They had live entertainment- a duet that we enjoyed.

Tradycja was absolutely fantastic!! We came in on a busy Saturday night, but had a seat at the bar. I m so glad we did; Adriana took such good care of us. It felt like being back in Poland with my cousins. The food was delicious (obviously the best kind of family recipes) as was the lemon vodka. I will be back as soon as I can!!

Small elegant place, excellent food and i can eat. Filling. The pierogies are amazing and they will sell them to go. If you blink you will pass the entrance of the parking lot. A must try for anyone in the area. Not the same old same old if you get what i mean.

No Covid Etiquette
Visited at approximately 5:20 on May 10th. Of the 10 patrons in the building, I was only one with a face covering. Of the staff I observed, none were wearing any face coverings. For those of you looking to have a drink at the bar area, stop on by, apparently the bar is open based on observation of people drinking at said bar. I love the food here. It is truly some of the best in Orland. This negligence toward basic public health safety has me wondering what other negligence to public and food health is taking place behind the kitchen doors. I will never come here again. I hate to say it, as I stated before, the food here is fantastic.

Order catering for Christmas Day dinner. Due to being closed they had us pick up day before Eve. Have had the restaurants food couple times before and it s delicious reasons for catering for an event. Christmas Day noticed order was wrong, the restaurant forgot to give us one side (potatoes). Wasn t able to go to grocery store since everything was closed. Called and left restaurant a voicemail. Today 12/29/20 they called back, gave us refund for the mistake , and apologized. I was very happy with the customer service due to the situation and will def order from them again!

I had the Highlander Potato Pancake with beef goulash and it was outstanding. My husband had the Pork Rib and meat melted off of the bone and the sauce was very tasty. Will return.

Mostly traditional polish dishes are served here with a modern twist. The food is good and the decor is pleasant. There is a bar here but I did not try any drinks. I would like to offer a suggestion for the oscypek appetizer: cut a big oscypek into slices and serve that rather than very small cubes of oscypek. Also add more zurawina on top of the oscypek.

One downside was that they were understaffed for a Friday night ( there was only one waiter for an almost full restaurant), so when it got busier we had to wait a while for the waiter to come back to our table.
Would go back when in the mood for Polish food.

Absolutely amazing experience. I was born in Poland and I'm proud of places like that. This is the way our heritage should be preserved. We've had several of their dishes, like beef tartar and oscypek but my hands-down favorite was RACK OF LAMB. Try it - you'll love it. Thank you!

We ordered food for four : salad over all good, soup watery thin tasteless, main dish very salty and disproportional, too much meat, not enough vegetarian fusion options.
Server said he can't help me with balancing my meal with more vegies due to reputation of restaurant...not sure what that meant...think he said it was neccessary for us to eat what on menu, and not be able to substitute.
our appetizer served with bread not authentic "moscol" and lard.
It was sunday busy evening.
Overall i would go there if menu had more options not same fatty food served in polish kitchen from post war era.

Went 1/16/21. Great food! We were seated right away, but it took longer than usual for our waitress to greet us at out table, other than that, great service and well-seasoned food. Staff wore masks and the place was clean!

The restaurant has a very nice ambience, the food was delicious. We had steak tartare, grilled oscypek, rack of lamb and pork loin and all was superb, delicious and nicely plated.they serve beer, wine and mixed drinks as well. Restaurant is located on a small strip mall, with free parking. They do have highchairs, good place for family dinner. Service was excellent.

It's a gem. I enjoyed the authentic polish dishes served on beautiful plates and wonderful interior. I went on a Wednesday night, so it was very quiet.

Great food but too pricey! Lamb chops phenomenal but would suggest a non meat appetizer and options for side dishes. Also perhaps some nice soft music in background!! Otherwise a hidden gem!!!

The place is on a smaller side and at the time of the visit the set up of tables wasn't the best it could be, decor is a mix bag, with some nice features that makes up for some shortcomings.
Now to the important aspect of a restaurant, is food any good? To me and 3 other people without doubt one of the best we had in Chicagoland area, gentleman who was serving us was polite and professional, drinks were delicious, it was very good experience to me and friends of mine.
My mom owns a higher class restaurant so I have a decent baseline as how to rate such establishment, I would recommend to anyone to stop in and order a dish or two.

Cozy atmosphere. We had the Artichpke, Sheep Cheese & Spinach for an appetizer & Scallops for the entree. Quite yummy!! All went well with a glass of Malbec...

Polish cuisine with a fresh twist. I really enjoyed the potato soup with swiss cheese. I had potato pancakes (oh, bliss!) Smothered with gravy and -- I think, beef. I ate too fast to remember what the name of the dish was.
Better than what grandma made because you can tell it's all fresh food.

Omg for what you pay for it's so worth it. The portions are HUGE & best of all, they're DELICIOUS! Hidden Polish gem in the area. Definitely coming back! An their pierogis... game over. That's going to be my go to snack food that I'm going to keep ordering. Absolutely delicious. Oh! And the people were SO nice! Great service, very friendly people & the aesthetic is adorable. Super rustic Polish vibes.

I had the duck confit, delicious. This wad my second time here, it had definitely been too long, the chef is very talented and the staff is very friendly. There is a great selection of dishes both traditional polish and polish fusion, which I like, and something for everyone.

They have the best polish food on earth and the food there is marvelous and people who are new to the restaurant should rate the restaurant a 5 And thank the cooks who make the food you should go there once in a while

The place is nice and comfortable, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent the prices are reasonable, definitely will come back when I'm in the neighborhood.

I am afraid to rank this restaurant as a 5 for fear that it will become too popular. The restaurant is quite small and the food very good. Our table had the polish plate and the pork roast. Both were excellent. Polish beers on tap and bottled. I will be returning.

This place is amazing, absolutely delicious food! We come here many times and are never disappointed. Of course we reserve seating because its usually always packed. The atmosphere is very comfy and everyone is very kind. I hope in the near future they will expand or maybe move to a bigger place. It's nice to finally have a Polish restaurant close to home

It was just ok, the stuffed cabbage was a let down, the soup was cold. There were only two other customers seated, took 45 minutes for my food to arrive. Ice tea tasted old. Won't go back

The food here is authentic and delicious. The portions are absolutely massive. The restaurant is nicely decorated . I loved everything I ate there. I recommending Highlander potato pancake and the Beef boneless rib . Waitress was very friendly.

I highly recommend this place to everyone. A little pricey but worth it.Had lunch there. Tasteful rustic interior. Our smoked cheese and bacon appetizer was yummy. Do try the complimentary bread and spread. It is to die for. My Polish fix was satiated with their absolutely delicious Polish Platter. My husband had the Rack of lamb with roasted potatoes,artichokes and carrots. It was simply devine. We will be going back for more.

The food is great, however, restaurant owners who understaff their dining room detract from the experience. Also, I've never paid a higher price for a glass of wine (except downtown Chicago in a place with a superb view of the city) and a rather small "pour" on top of the high price. Overall, good food but expensive, with hit/miss service due to understaffing during busy times.

The food here is amazing , a fresh take on traditional polish food. This is my favorite place when I'm in the mood for a taste of the motherland.

My husband and I came here for a date night and had an excellent meal. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was great.
