Food is good, and a nice place to gather if you have a big group.
Food is good, and a nice place to gather if you have a big group.
Attended a retirement dinner. Food and service we're excellent!
My yearly treat is at the spa. A little costly, salt caves are eh but they provide a really calm, clean and kind atmosphere
Beautiful holiday Decor convenient breakfast in the morning. Sitting room by the fire to read the paper is priceless. The traditional feel is very home-like. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Some rooms smell a little musty, but it goes away. We usually have 2 adjoining rooms. It feels like home and I would not stay anywhere else.
Beautiful place. Beautiful atmosphere. Great venue.
I m giving the spa a 2 star because I loved the massage and the girl. She was very good. As for the rest. I was embarrassed for our area! 1 shower was working out of 3 and the only one working had no water pressure and if you tried to turn it up it was scalding. Thank goodness a lady warned me about it before I got in. There is absolutely no privacy and the products that were left for the customers to use were less than good. There was 1 comb left that was wrapped to use , obviously no one is checking on the bathroom. Also I asked for a product that was on the shelf and they were out of the one I wanted. The girl at the desk said all they had was on the shelf. Not very interested in that either. Someone should keep track of what they need, in this case it was a large coconut body lotion. You could have made a sale. I hate to think what people who are from out of town and want a great spa day to have to get this shabby spa.
Couples massage was amazing! Too bad they dont serve lunch.
We had a lovely time celebrating my sister's wedding. The food was amazing the staff so accommodating, just a perfect afternoon.
Have some issue at the hotel and spa but things got resolved
Attended the BBQ competition, the event was very well put together and the live music was awesome!
Always a pleasant time getting the buffet on a random Sunday. Everyone us a joy to visit with and all the employees make an effort to remember names and faces. When we walk in we feel as if we're part of their family.
We had a company picnic out back and they had the Binghamton zoo come by for the kids, it was fantastic. There was a waitress that stopped me and complemented me on my shirt, she also loves plaid, she was extremely nice and helpful a fee times throughout the day. There was another female staff who was older and was very friendly and we talked for a moment. I love their employees, they are all just so nice!
Here for a charity event. The provided tent was beautiful
The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating, I'll be back on Friday :)
Very elegant setting and the food is always excellent.
First time at Traditions. Food was fantastic along with the staff. I will return. Great job people!! Thank you !!
Staff was excellent - very kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was lovely. The food was good. We booked the 'sweet and salty' package and our hour in the salt cave was super relaxing. We will definitely be back for another Traditions adventure.
The salt spa was super cool. I didn't even know about it until my aunt happened across a Groupon thing advertising for it.
Very clean, and staff very attentive. Best massage my wife and I ever got.
Our extended family had Father's Day brunch at Traditions. The omelets were great, the bacon crisp but otherwise it was disappointing. The pastries were not fresh, waffles were cold, hard to get the waitresses attention for coffee and drink refills and tables were very close together so it made walking from buffet to table difficult especially since we had a blind person with a guide dog. This was our first time there and probably won't be back.
The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We were attenting a frundraising gold tournament anf there was a dunner to follow in the hotel ballroom. The decor was tasteful and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend for any type of event.
Cozy rooms, good service. The location is pretty good, close to the highway.
I had a great experience at the spa getting a pedicure with my mom and sister.
Amazing experience. The staff and atmosphere are wonderful.
Came here for an anniversary party. It is a lovely, older(albeit only a bit dated) hotel. The rooms were as expected, and the gas fireplace was the winner(as the temperature only reached the mid 20s).The staff went out of their way to guide us toward hiking activities before our massages. The young man at the front desk(sorry can't remember his name)was exceptional and went out...
Great accommodations. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would go there again.
awesome , my husband and I had a couples massage so relaxing. enjoyed dinner too. we are going to stay over next time to extend our enjoyment, A big thank you to all
I was there for my honey moon and by being out of state it was a nice place to stay.
Good variety, food good quality, staff attentive, brunch at $19 per kinda stiff
Went for Sunday brunch and had an excellent experience. Food and service were good and kids eat free.
I had a lovely brunch here with my family and friends after my nephew's baptism. The atmosphere was friendly, the food was good, and the staff was attentive.
You will need to make a reservation before you go though.
I really wanted to love this place, but.... I couldn't. The site is wonderful as it overlooks the valley and certainly has a good deal of local history (why we chose it) but the service is not up to standards. I held a small reception there and was not impressed with the sales staff beforehand- as it took multiple, rather confusing emails to finalize arrangements nor the staff on the event day. The servers acted like they had never served a luncheon before, took forever to get initial beverages poured, and most disturbing was that one guest had a special meal for medical reasons and I specifically asked to have this handled discreetly- but the server announced it loudly at the table; both embarrassing the guest and making public an otherwise undisclosed condition. Granted our event was quite small, I wasn't dropping $$$ on a wedding, but the overall impression I got was that the establishment is resting on the laurels of the site rather than operating as a first class, full service resort.
We went for a social event and the food provided was delicious and the meeting room was very nice.
Nice classic hotel on a golf course. Beautiful scenery and top notch food too.
Went to play golf, they over booked and we waited 20 minutes.
Top notch spa and salon. Most relaxing place in the Southern Tier area.
It was great!! Friendly people in a welcoming atmosphere!!
I was treated by my boss to the best massage ever! A plush, relaxing, serene environment and professional helpful assistants. I can't wait to go back!
Had a dinner there with a large crowd of over 200. It was very classy, the food and service were great as well! Even with the tons of rain we got the night of our get together, this outdoor tent-style venue stayed dry! It was beautifully decorated and had a wonderful atmosphere.
The Spa is excellent. I have not stayed at the hotel.
Well, I didn't actually stay at the hotel, however I did visit the spa. And let me tell you all that this is the place to go when you need some pampering. I try to get here at least once a month but my life is very busy. Best place ever .
The rooms and hotel are beautiful. The spa is, a must for the weary traveler or just a weekend getaway.
The golf course was in some of the worst shape I have ever seen it in, on some of the holes you couldn't see the yardage placards at the tee boxes, burnt fairways, and rocks in the sand traps
The bed and bath were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed both. The room is a bit on the older side/small but the Hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly.
Very interesting spot located on a mountain.pkeqdant walk on the morning and decent breakfast
Looks very nice, has a great golf course. The only issue is that there's no pool.
Spent time in the salt sanctuary and got a couples massage at the spa, then stayed overnight at the hotel. Services were great, only complaint was our room was next to an exit so we could hear people coming and going all night
Golf clubhouse bar is reasonable, nice atmosphere, good friendly discussions
My family and I attended our niece's wedding reception in the tent at Traditions on 10/19/19. What a disappointment! Our waiter (when we could find him) had on a filthy uniform and was clearly unhappy. We had to ask for water, coffee, cake --we were a lucky table in that we got a piece of the cake. A staff member threw the cookie favors onto our table, and dinner took over 2 hours. Definitely an understaffed event. Unfortunately, there was not enough heat on that chilly night as the sides of the tent were open and there were insufficient heaters. For a venue that bills itself as premiere we expected much better. It is truly heartbreaking to hear my niece and her husband voice their disappointments over what should have been a flawless evening.
We were not impressed and truthfully, will not recommend Traditions to anyone we know.
Nice view. Rooms were well maintained and clean. A bit smaller than expected. Staff very friendly.
Had a great haircut with Maggie! Can't wait to go back for color!!
A place with wonderful local history - always a pleasure to visit and enjoy meals and amenities!
It's a joy to see how much the owners and staff were able to maintain the feeling of the building, as they were opening it up to the public - well worth a visit!
Very nice, comfortable accommodations. Beautiful property, friendly staff. Only stayed one night. Maybe more next time.
Lots of history (used to be the IBM Homestead). The food was good but the service was slow and kind of disorganized.
Our company Christmas party was at Traditions. Everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, the wait staff & bartenders were attentive and courteous. Highly recommend Traditions for any event.
Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. There is a gorgeous hiking trail near by that I really enjoyed.
Massage was wonderful. Very serene, peaceful experience. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.
Played golf, but the course is in very rough shape. Poor sand bunkers with standing water, soft/muddy spots in the fairways. 55$ is not worth it
Went for a tour for a possible wedding venue with my sister. Can't say much for the food or golfing yet, but they do offer a lot for weddings, will review after the wedding!
Went for the Sunday Breakfat Buffet... food was good and plentiful, Omelets, Eggs, ham, bacon ,Eggs Benedict... service was good without being intrusive. Price was good.
Very clean, and staff very attentive. Best massage my wife and I ever got.
Can't say much past brunch is amazing, and soccer golf is great outting. Carl Spackler recommends getting a good Jock to schlep around your brews!
Very nice night. It's the off season, so rather quiet. Breakfast was nice. Several conference rooms. Starting to show its age a bit. Still very nice
Overall, my stay was very good. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. The rooms themselves were very well kept. However, our temperature control appeared to be dysfunctional and the ventilation was loud. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers.
My daughter and I went to the Salt sanctuary. It was very nice.
We visited the Spa at this place some time ago. We had a very positive experience. The staff was very friendly and outgoing - a def 5-star service... it's very clean and well maintained, the lockers and the shower/steam-rooms look like new. The salt cave is a must do!
