Used restaurant, hot chocolate wasn't hot but was replaced without fuss but had very long wait for sandwich, in fact we are sure it was forgotten from order, there was no apology for this either when we raised the issue or when it arrived within 5 mins When paying we raised this and only then did we get apology and they tried to recover the situation. Too late

A lovely unusual venue for a concert. Have visited here a few times for great gigs. Sometimes they put on a BBQ and warmup act out on the lawns, which is a lovely civilised way to start the evening. Food is nice, though not top notch and catering for vegans isn't great. Can be a little slow between acts.
Quite a strange place...always appears to be closing down and I can't really understand how it pays it's way. Didn't visit the cafe, which may be great. Has a nice outlook.
The last four weekends have seen us at Trading Boundaries enjoying great music in a great location and feeling completely safe, knowing what careful preparation has taken place to look after all of the guests. We will be back soon, perhaps next weekend!
Music night. Another successful evening of entertainment. Great food, great atmosphere and the fabulous 'no Jacket required' tribute band to Phil Colins. Ab fab!!
Trading Boundaries is always worth a visit. Whether you go for the food, the decor or the eclectic collection of interesting furniture, there is something for everyone. Ample parking out back (don't be put off if the car park out front is full), play area for kids, little boutique shop things. Family friendly.
Great shop with unique furniture you won t find any where else. But the real highlight is the food. The lunches are really good quality and a great quirky environment.
Trading Boundaries is one of our favorite places and have been going there for many years! Roger Dean has paintings on display all uear round, fantastic!!
Unusual but interesting place for lunch or other times but surprisingly gets very busy at lunch even at this time of year. However, good varied menus and food very good quality.
Lovely furniture and homewares. Quirky variety of courtyard shops and good cafe with great decor. Occasional music events which are good fun. Showcase for artist Roger Dean's work which is awesome. Lovely place to visit.
We enjoyed our visit to Trading Boundaries. A couple of friends mentioned it to us pre covid. Our visit was last week, if you are looking for interesting furniture for your home, then it's definitely worth checking out. A Roger Dean exhibition was on at the time of our visit, amazing.
Lovely setting for Steve Hackett concert. Food delicious, staff polite and friendly , very atmospheric surroundings with twinkly lights and mood lighting. A relaxed and enjoyable evening.
A shout to Trading Boundaries for organising a fabulous outdoor concert. Social distance pitches on their lawn with BUTLR service. A splendid Fleetwood Mac tribute to salute Peter Green. Feeling safe and welcome.
Lovely place to visit. Nice coffee and various options for food. Awesome Indian art, figurines, clothes, furniture etc. Be lovely day out with kids in Summer.
A lovely place to spend time browsing with a view to a future purchase, drinking great coffee and enjoying fresh food, inside or out. I can thoroughly recommend a visit.
Great brunch and lunch menu, plenty of variety, simple food served by very polite waitresses every time. Great cakes, good coffee reasonable prices. Outdoor seating with simple and safe children play space and indoor seats that are cool even on the hottest days. Several small boutique shops and the trading boundaries shop to browse.
We returned for a night at the Opera... ...La Boheme with Opera d'Amore. On a boiling hot evening , about 100+ people sat down to dinner. This was Ok but the side-vegetables were a bit ordinary. It was extremely hot inside the venue even with all doors and windows open. The performance was staged among the diners; a great idea which bought the performers right to the table and maintained attention as they moved from one area to another. It also meant that the acting skill had to be less obvious than at a stage opera and more believable. This was achieved very well with Mimi and Rodolfo being the most natural whilst Musetta was a little exaggerated but this fitted well with her persona. The singing was superb and at both intervals [everyone poured outside for a breather] the general opinion from regular opera buffs and others, was that the performance was exceptional. It was one of those occasions in life where you had to be there to witness something unusual and special. As an opera experience it deserves 5 stars, dining 4.0 and due to the lack of air conditioning of some sort, 3.0, so an overall of 4.0
A beautiful shop full of gorgeous products, more like waking into a cave full of unique, handmade and upcycled products than your average mass produced stuff. The only issue is because everything is so unique it takes ages to walk around the shop!
Went there for lunch and to look for furniture sales. Real nice old furniture there. I bought few for us. Lunch was okay but they only do burgers, salads and chips. If you don't like any of those then it is not a place to go for lunch. Otherwise go have fun, it is situated in a very beautiful location and they have children play space and you can also take you dog with you.
We love to stop in here , as it s the main gallery in the UK for Roger Deans art work. I ve been a fan since I was about 10 (40 years ago ! ) But there is more to this place with good musical events in the very intimate restaurant , and great food and drinks too . Furniture from around the world , and a great courtyard of small independents make this a lovely place to explore . It inspired a spilt coffee drawing on the table by my son !
Beautiful place and food is amazing. Tandoori chicken is sooo nice. But unfortunately the kitchen doesnt seem to cope well when busy. Nearly 1.5 hours to get a burger was a bit long when you have a small child wih you whose not as patient as we are. Lovely place thoigh and interesting shops to look around.
Enjoyed a lunch here yesterday short but interesting menu with generous portions. Staff as friendly as we remembered and despite being busy were keen to ensure we enjoyed our meal. After took a stroll around the adjacent shops where again everybody was welcoming and not at all pushy;well worth the 45 min journey and all in all a very pleasant outing. We'll return for at least one of the forthcoming live music events which appear programmed to appeal to those of us that can remember the 1960's
A magical venue, wonderful music, food and ambiance, and presented and hosted by people who love the music like we do, but genuinely care for and welcome everyone who comes. A genuine find in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
Second time we've visited to have an evening meal with band playing afterwards..This was a dire straits tribute band and they were great. The food was simple, ample, hot and promptly served by friendly staff and we had a really great evening. We will be booking again soon.
A great cafe/restaurant to go to. Food is nice and the decor is very original. Nice garden to sit in and have been multiple times now. Service can be a bit slow but well worth a visit.
Eclectic mix of Eastern furniture showroom/shop (expensive), craft shops, cafe, artist's gallery (the wonderful works of the brilliant Roger Dean) and, in the evening, a music venue with fine dining.
Love this place but thought at last sat event service was not quite so good, but still magical and wonderful, and music was surberb as usual, highly recommended
