Was very pleased with the service. I had an issue with the sliding door that wasn't scheduled in the appointment but they went ahead and took the time to look into it and fixed it. The rep was friendly and even gave a great recommendation for a restaurant to try since we were leaving for lunch after the service.

Unprofessional sales techniques of undisclosed fees. I specifically asked if the price included any other fees, and was told "No", only tax, title, and license. Shame on me for not reading every single line, but I trusted the sales rep. My surprise when I pulled my paperwork for taxes and realized they stuck on a 489.00 "processing fee", of which was never disclosed verbally. At least Rick McGill Toyota had the professional and moral sales team to quote tax, title, license, and processing fee EACH time price was discussed. Wrote to the GM at Toyota Knoxville twice with no response to date. I would never pay a "processing fee" and would never have purchased my car at Toyota Knoxville had I been advised of the fee during the sales process. Check around before you purchase at Toyota Knoxville.

My experience with Toyota of Knoxville is limited so I am hoping this is not the usual experience. I dropped my 2017 highlander off with them right when they opened. The vehicle would periodically have an issue where the rpm's would become erratic and on occasion die at stop lights. They kept it all day. They finally called and asked if I had been over filling the gas tank. I insisted that I never do that because I know that can damage the charcoal canister. We hung up. They called back and said the fuel trims seem to be coming back to normal and it may have been a program issue. That weekend the car started acting up again. Took it back in and this time they seemed pretty confident that I had been overfilling the tank and that I would need to pay around $800 for a new charcoal canister. I insisted that I did not do that and it must be something else. They came back and said well if it's not that it must be a valve in the gas tank and that I would need a whole new gas tank at a tune of around $2800. So if it's not one thing it's the other... Sounds like they are stabbing in the dark here... This all seemed crazy to me. The car was still under the 60k warranty but since it was emission related it was not covered. It seemed like they were guessing at what was wrong so I declined having it fixed. That turned out good because after a little internet searching and testing the purge valve solenoid (taking all of 15 minutes to remove and test with a battery). I found that it was sticking open. The longer it was engaged the longer it would stick. So what Toyota of Knoxville could not do in 2 days I, a non-mechanic, did in no time at all. That is insane. What would have happened if I spent the $800 just to find that they were wrong. Worse yet what if I spent the $2800 for no reason whatsoever. The actual faulty part cost me $60 OEM and can be replaced in less time than it takes to change windshield wipers. How can two of their mechanics both come to the same faulty diagnoses. My guess is the 2nd one just read the notes from the previous visit and did not take a 2nd look. There are only a handful of components on the EVAP system. Why not check each one before assuming that it must be the most expensive components that are failing. This is unacceptable. I really hope that this is not the normal experience. At a time like this with so many people out of work the last thing anyone should be doing is shelling out big bucks for guesses on what is wrong.

Very disappointed in my service today. I called to make an appointment a week ago because I was told Toyota could handle what I need addressed with my Jeep that I bought from them 8 months ago. I asked specifically if there would be an issue reading information because it's a Jeep. I was told it would not be a problem. I drove an hour and rearranged other commitments just to be told there is an issue reading codes because it's a Jeep after I was kept waiting over an hour.

I dropped my car off and was driven back to my job. I had a text about an hour later saying my car was ready. I texted back asking if the taxi service could pick me up at 11:30. The driver got there about 11:40 to take me back to Toyota. I signed my papers and was on my way!! Very friendly staff.

A little over a month ago, I bought my third vehicle from Toyota Knoxville. They are without a doubt the best dealership I have dealt with. I didn't plan on buying from them this go around simply because I was looking for a Jeep, but after the headache and run around that I got at a couple other dealerships I was thrilled when I saw they had a "used" Wrangler on their website. As always, the sales staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and cooperative and I couldn't be more thrilled. Eric was great and answered any questions I had before and after the sale. It's wonderful to go to buy a car without the salesman directing every question at my husband instead of me and not being made to feel like by my trying to make a deal that I was being "difficult." Thank you to everyone there for making it a great experience every time.

Terrible experience. Don't rent a car from this disorganized mess. Mine had a crack in the windshield from a rock chip that I didn't notice until driving off the lot, so now my "free rental" is going to cost me $500. Go somewhere else if you want customer service!

Update: HAHA sorry $1200 to replace the windshield. Please don't go to this dealer.

Multiple attempts to scam me into not receiving pr...

Multiple attempts to scam me into not receiving prorate credit on tires that did not make it to their mileage warranty. Details below.

Several months ago - I went in for a oil change and rotation. Received a call while the car was being serviced to let me know that the tires were due to be replaced. When I asked about a mileage prorate (there were about 20k miles on 55k mile warranty tires), they said "oh nevermind, the tires are still good". It is important to note that since I didn't buy new tires, they elected not to rotate the tires.

Two weeks ago - went in for another oil change, asked about the tires, and they said they are still fine.

Two days ago - I went and bought a tire gauge on my own to see what was going on with these tires that were due to be replaced ~7.5k miles ago but are now just fine. They were all at 2/32", a critical level. I went back to the shop and asked to replace them, and to provide some prorate credit. They said they would check.
I waited about 10min and Chris C. came out and let me know that they checked the tires and they were at 4/32" and 5/32". After discussing this several times, I had to ask Chris to follow me into the shop and show him with my own tire gauge that they were in fact at 2/32". He said that my gauge might be faulty (haha). He went and got his own gauge and saw it was not faulty. It wasn't until this happened, that they were going to give me any prorate credit, and even at this point, they were trying to pull one over on me by saying they couldn't give credit because my car was out of alignment (I only have my car serviced here, if it was out of alignment why didn't you recommend we fix it?), or that the tires hadn't been rotated enough (see above where they elected not to rotate the tires).

In the end I received 38% credit for tires that had been driven for about 50%. I don't normally leave reviews, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows to not trust this service center.

The man who assisted me even came in on his day off to close the deal and helped me every step along the way. I highly recommend buying a car from here. He gave my some suggestion to follow through on. He was most helpful. Also the place was backup for service that morning but I still got out of there w/i two hours.

We experienced terrible service. It seemed very disorganized in all departments. We had to go back 3 times to sign papers that they kept forgetting to have us sign. They did not send payoff for our trade in for over 2 weeks after we bought a car because they needed more paper work signed and never called to let us know. We had to call them after getting a call from the old bank saying we were 10 days past due because Toyota Knoxville never sent the check. I tried to call only get transferred around to 4 different people to find out why, and then I had to come back in a final time to sign more paperwork and pay an additional $14.50 fee. I asked why we had to pay even though we just bought a car from them, and they said it's a state requirement that they could not waive. Seriously? Terrible management and customer service.

This was my 1st visit to Toyota Knoxville. When I entered the service area, several of the service writers were singing. It created an upbeat feeling and was quite entertaining. In less than 2 minutes, I felt like I had known these guys for a long time (so the rapport building was excellent). I felt trust, confidence and pride for choosing this dealer. Work completed in half of the time I was quoted. I left a very happy customer.

Was a 7.5 year customer, but finally had enough of the nickel and dime, and lack of loyalty service. The van driver treated me better than any service agent. Every oil change or service was treated like I d never been there before. Such long term poor loyalty service is symptom of substandard management. I won t be back. Overpriced and under-delivered.

The lack of communication between departments, to their customers and the unwillingness to help their customers at this dealership makes me wonder how they have stayed in business as long as they have. The one star is for the salesman, Todd, who was the only one who would return phone calls when he said he would. The service writer, Shannon, tried to lie to me regarding another Toyota dealer. I left Joe multiple voicemails for a return call after I was told he would call me back that evening only to never receive any return calls period. The 30 day used car warranty is useless when it comes to major issues. Their techs claim the issues can t be found but another Toyota dealer found them and documented them. Andy s solution to my vehicle problem was to buy their extended car warranty. What good is that since you don t even honor your 30 day warranty? Everyone I spoke with tried to pass me off to someone else. I will tell anyone and everyone never to do business with this dealer.

We came here with the type of car we wanted in mind. We were promptly greeted by a wonderful man named Nitin. He was so kind and patient with us. Made sure we saw every option available and knew everything about the car we wanted before purchasing. He was never pushy or acted superior to us like we had the experience of 6 months ago when we first came here looking to buy. (that rude salesman, younger preppy looking white kid, is no longer there that we saw) Nitin answered all of our questions and was so gracious the entire time we were there. He made us feel like we were family and the most important people there. I do not know if we would have purchased here without his help. Best car salesman we have ever dealt with! We ended up purchasing a new 2019 Corolla SE with Nitin's help! We are extremely pleased with this experience at Toyota Knoxville and particularly with Nitin. He has made us Toyota Knoxville loyal customers!

Waited for 30 mins just to be acknowledged. Apt time was 1:20. It's 4 pm and I am still here and have not even received any updates......... Also, this is for an issue that was supposed to have been fixed last time I was here and wasn't. I will not buy a Toyota again unless I move to an area where the service dept is not so horrendous. The ratings are mostly 5's or 1's by other people. I highly doubt the 5's are from actual customers, but instead Toyota people trying to raise their average rating of 1.

Lee Townsend what can i say he is a GREAT SALESMAN!!! he was never pushy or tried to rush me and my wife showed me car after car in the RAIN!! Took the time to help me find what i was looking for. I have purchased many cars from many dealerships over the years and absolutely hate the experience until Toyota of Knoxville. Riley greated me right away and was low key and allowed me to just look, he was with someone so Jared was given the difficult task of helping me decide on a vehicle. He is a friendly young manwho worked hard to not only sell a car but forge a relationship. He was professional, kind, and interested in making sure I got the car I liked, not just the one he wanted to sell. There was no tough negotiation tactics, finance was simple, no pushing of unnecessary warranty products, etc. And the lifetime warranty is no bullcrap, it is really what is advertised. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesmen.

Yes the salesmen are always busy on Sundays. You are foreign and probably don t speak English very well. The receptionist was nothing but nice to you. Too many issues to name on the used Jeep we purchased! Supposedly, EVERY vehicle that comes in for trade is not placed on the lot until a "thorough 150 point inspection" is given. Issues began within an hour of driving it off the lot and haven't stopped since. These are ALL problems that should not have been missed in a 150 point inspection. VERY disappointed! oh, and now completely broke from all of the repair costs!

I was late for my appointment but the service dept. worked me in. I purchased new tires and was thrilled to find out that you were running a special- buy 3 and pay $1 for the fourth tire. My Camry runs beautifully - very smooth. I'm so pleased with the tires and alignment. The service technician did a wonderful job!

I had to argue with them for hours that it wasn t my fault they messed up the service the first time. Promised me they take care of it no one ever reached out or called me. My husband and I bought truck from the dealership about 6 weeks ago and the service was top notch! John Roark was exceptional at keeping his eyes open for what we were looking for, even with this second purchase. The process was seamless and I love my (new) used Toyota Rav4. First time in 32 years I have not bought myself a GM product. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOYOTA OF KNOXVILLE!!

I will always drive a Toyota, and maybe even purchase my next Toyota from ToK, but I will NEVER use their service center. Lied about what was broken on my vehicle, or are incompetent. Either way, took the vehicle to Dennis Hall's Auto Service and they fixed what was actually broken for half the price.

Very disappointed! I had an 11:15 appointment for oil change, tire rotation, fixing a mirror, and troubleshooting a noise in the engine. I arrived and was told that they go to lunch at 11:30 so they would change the oil and I would have to wait until 12:30 for them to come back to do the rest. Why would they make that appointment???????

Wasted an hour of my time driving there and back plus gas... Will not be back.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the guy was friendly and not rude. Maybe it should be 1 star.

About what you would expect from a dealership. They were more costly for the service provided than other locations, but they did their best to be efficient, they obviously had the right tools for the job (working on a Toyota), and seemingly did their best to make the process as painless as could be. Only recommendation would be to walk through the results/findings/worked performed more thoroughly both before and after. They seemed light on the details and I would have to press them to get more information.
