Nice spot. A little expensive for a day visit but free days or a pass from a library is nice. Walking trails through wooded paths with sculptures surround the botanical gardens which make it even more interesting. Nice afternoon on cooler days and during flower season. Fall brings lights to the garden. Good for kids too, though no playground.

We've never been this far East (from Oklahoma) and accidentally ran across your gardens as we were traveling to our destination of Maine. We stopped for a very short while, and I throughly enjoyed the gardens and lunch at the Twig. Didn't have time to stroll through all of the features but what we saw was very nice, very well kept and maintained. I personally loved the remoteness of the area. I'm glad we made the stop.

This is my local sanctuary. So close to my home. A place where I come to wander. If I'm feeling a lot of people, I'll go and share space with the art inside or the big gardens. But my favorite thing to do is go on the forest paths which are much more secluded. My daughter and I spend hours here sitting amongst the flowers and trees. A perfect place to teach plant recognition and connection to the earth.

The garden has a few trails and little detours filled with plants, statues, & bees to keep you entertained. There is one restaurant in the garden property, just in case you're hungry (there are also vending machines and some snacks in the gift shoppe)

Very beautiful! They do a great job taking care of the plants. Very cool structures and some nice art. If you like nature or, more specifically, plants you should definitely check it out. If you live locally, a lot of libraries have passes for discounts. The price seems fair, though.

Wonderful place with many events throughout the year.
Make sure to get a membership, however to keep the cost low.
Nice place to cure the winter blues, go snowshoeing, and see the gardens and trails during the summer months

Tower Hill is much more than a botanic garden. Best to describe it as an experience, bound to bring joy to the visitor, rooted in the appreciation of nature, conjugation of nature with the human soul. While the programs offered at Tower Hill, and the gardens themselves are spectacular, I find my greatest passion in the trails and open fields spanning 176 acres. The more I experience Tower Hill, the more joy it brings me. I recommend that all not only visit it at least once, but also return again and again. Each visit will bring you to a higher level of appreciation for what Tower Hill has to offer.

The gardens are beautiful. The food in the cafe is delicious. My only concern is that the cafe staff are using latex gloves when dealing with the food. There are far too many people allergic to latex for this to be acceptable. I suggest that someone does something about it.

I've been to Tower Hill twice now. Once for the winter lights event in 2019, and once this November for Gnomevember. I had a great time both times. The gnome scavenger hunt was especially enjoyable, we found 200 of the gnomes including the sacred golden gnome!

Beautiful place to come with the kids and have a picnic. Some lovely and quite easy to manage trails for the younger kids and plenty to see. Food options that they offer looked good but seemed a little bit pricey. Plenty of parking. Really lovely place.

Tower Hill is a great place to learn, or just take in the beauty. Indoors, outdoors, they have it covered.

The seasonal changes in the solarium as well as the outdoor gardens makes it seem like a new place every time I go there. The trails are easy and great for kids and grandkids.

What a great way to wrap up fall with a nice date day out at Tower Hill botanical gardens! The grounds as always look beautiful even with the change in seasons and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed trying to find the best color left on the trees!

Went for the orchid show, which while beautiful was a little underwhelming for the advertisement put into it. Still enjoyed our visit though and my mother got to pick out a new orchid. And I know she enjoyed the show.

My daughter Sharon and I attended a New England Daylily Society meeting at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden! It was wonderful to visit with friends and to hear Bob Sobek's interesting presentation on his daylily hybridizing program. We got to visit with Bob after the meeting, which was a real plus! Next time, I hope we get to look around the gardens and the Orangerie and the Limonaia. The halls and Limonaia were full of gorgeous plants and trees, plus an Orchid Show was going on. This is a lovely place to visit :-) Excellent day!

This is a quiet and peaceful place. It is not like the botanical gardens in London or Bronx, NY, but it is a perfect place to get away from the noise of the city. There are a variety of plants are indigenous to NE. I would highly recommend it to everyone who battles the city life during the week.

Just an incredible place, a very beautiful property. Great for a hike, their winter light show is stunning (you have to buy tickets online in advance). For summer hikes, I like that there's a cafe on site: go for a walk through the woods, have a sandwich on the patio. Beautiful place. Check prices online before going.

It was super warm today but luckily we found some nice nature paths with plenty of shade. Great socially distancing measures in place. Had a nice boxed lunch from the cafe and got some fun items in the gift shop. All in all a great Saturday excursion.
