This is the worst place and a total waste of both time and money. We went for daffodil festival, only to realize hardly any daffodils there, a hefty amount to pay and on top of it place is unsafe as daffodils had poisonous Ivy which was never mentioned on the site. Never go to this place.

The line just getting in whilst sitting in you car was aweful. The people taking the cash ($15.00 btw) didn't seem to understand the concept of hurry. At all!!! After that over half hour treat our family of five were told the only place to eat closed at 2:30! You absolutely must have more than just restrooms when family bring their children! Sorry, it wasn't worth 15.00 to walk around hungry.

I love Tower Hill! It's beautiful, the gardens are amazing, the trails are great. There are a few reasons I can't give 5 stars. 1 - parking. The lot is small and not that close, and there are almost no disabled spots. For events, they frequently turn people away, or you have to wait in a long line just to park. 2 - membership. I'm a member and I don't feel like you get enough for the price. No priority parking and it's still a pain to get into their Christmas lights show - members should get much more priority. 3 - sometimes their events are not as great as advertised, like the recent "Winter in Bloom." when I went, it was just some mediocre flower arrangements that were sort of inspired by paintings. Not worth it. 4- the shop is ridiculously overpriced and so are their plant sales. You can get better quality and more variety at Lowe's. Otherwise, though, I love to just got and spend time there! It's so soothing. Highly recommended.

This place is super cool. Unelievable landscaping and gardens here, and so much to explore. With a six year old, we were able to keep her entertained for over an hour (that's alot!) and still had patience for some lunch from the yummy Cafe inside. Not sure what it's like in other seasons, but more-July was full of life and blooms. I highly recommend this place.

Nice place to wander through and see some nice specimen plants. $15 admission is awfully steep though. I've been to nicer botanical gardens for free. We go on free Thursdays over the summer. The local libraries often have free passes to check out as well. The sculpture walk through the woods is nice and very Instagram-able. Some plantings are very lush and healthy, others seemed to be struggling this year. Overall, it's a nice place to check out, just look for ways to save on admission if you can.

It's a magical place! ... But of course, that depends on your eyes, yet every time I go, I have a hard time leaving...
Peacefully quiet, secluded little spot, that gives you a little taste of heaven, be it that you go it alone, with a special friend, or with a group; & it's forever changing ... Just wish it had lots more berries to eat along pathways ... but beautiful indeed!

Absolutely wonderful place to spend a day. The special events are especially worth witnessing and you can see some truly special botanical items. Even if there is no event and the flowers are out of season(which is rare as they plant to constant blooms) these gardens are worth visiting. The tree garden at the top of the hill is worth seeing year round.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it has become my go to escape. If you are a local getting a membership is worth ever dime. They have great events, exhibits, and in non-covid times they had a wonderful Cafe. Members also have access to their seed library which gives you a no risk opportunity to try growing new flowers or vegetables.

Their orangerie and solarium also house their tropical plants during the bleak winter months which I always find as an enjoyable place for some dose of color during the grey months

Superb! Most Massachusetts folk are steered to the likes of La Salette Shrine or Edaville Railroad for their Christmas light viewing. But I must say, Tower Hill Botanical Garden has leapfrogged the genre with a very artistically inspired display - and a copious one at that. Everywhere you go within the gardens, you are bathed in colorful light, cleverly arranged in line, direction and hue. It really does put the typical expression of light strings draped carelessly over random trees to shame.

As you explore the garden paths and light displays, you will encounter a couple of large metal cauldrons. These that have been turned into fire pits, a great and welcome chance to warm your hands as you explore outdoors in the night. Each is tended to by a staff member, there to answer questions and give directions.

Inside, the main building is abuzz with people visiting the gift shop, grabbing a snack at the farm-to-table eatery, imbibing at one of the beverage stands, or just enjoying the temperate flora displays.

On the negative side, while the food on offer from the farm-to-table is healthy and fresh, it is not for those on a budget. Two muffins and two hot chocolates (one with schnapps) topped the $25 mark; we opted to keep it to just a snack. Not worth docking a star for, as the cost is rather subjective. All in all, however, an excellent experience.

Went for the christmas lights. It was absolutely beautiful and the entire family enjoyed it. While it was busy, it was very spread out and the only crowd on this Wed. night was in the hallway between wings and near the concession stand around 6pm. Even my 8yo son with autism coped well and loved the rainbow tunnel, life size beehive and model train. My 10yo daughter loved the scavenger hunt, firefly forest, and really just all the lights. Staff was also helpful and friendly.

The staff are extremely rude. I needed help with my service dog and they wouldn t let me into the event. Service dogs are allowed everywhere! Worst part is that I saw a small Yorkie dog in the event and they told me I cannot bring my service dog! I will never be back or support this kind of behavior!!!

I often enjoy the garden. however, they are repairing and fixing many areas. viewing many areas was very disappointing. When they were transitioning the garden should be free!
Also, the cafe closed earlier than posted. It was a bit late and slow that day.
I was with friends from California had to head down to the other place pub.

If you are thinking about getting married at Tower Hill BG - DO IT! Brittni reached out to me on how they can make Tower Hill Botanical Gardens more LGBTQ+ Friendly but also just more inclusive to individuals in general. Brittni is just a really good human being who wants everyone to feel safe, welcomed, and have the best time imaginable. I can tell you from a previous bride and wedding vendor, this is SO rare to see with venues. I am so thankful to see a wedding pro who just truly loves what they do!
