Went to see Daffodil day today. Really disappointing. Nothing to see. And u know u need yo pay $ 15 per adult for seeing nothing as such.

Really don t know why this place is hyped so much.
I travelled from Hartford to see beautiful flowers and there I see nothing.

Frustrating visit

We went to Tower Hill Botanic Garden for their Daffodil Day. Entry fee was $15 per person to the grounds which includes the Daffodil Days. Unfortunately due to the cold weather this year many of the daffodils had yet to bloom. It was early in the season so not much was in bloom but we enjoyed walking around the grounds and seeing the indoor exhibits. The gift shop is well curated with many interesting items. Seems to be a great place to spend a sunny summer day when things are in bloom. Will definitely revisit later in the season.

Really disappointed. The entire Garden was very lackluster. It wasn't even very quiet since you could hear the highway that's less than a mile away. Some might assume that nothing was in bloom, but it more seemed like nothing was being taken care of. The garden was small, and the majority of it was just overgrown ferns and grass. The water displays were very dirty, and everything looked to be in need of cleaning up. This is especially concerning since there was a wedding party being set up as we left, meaning they made no effort to clean the place up for someones wedding. I wouldn't come back here if it was free, never mind for the 16$ a head they ask for.

I went here a couple of years ago or so, on a bus trip. I have been there twice, both in the spring and the late summer. Spring was very nice!!! The flowering trees and other bushes were quite lovely!!! (And I really enjoyed their turtle fountain too!!!) Sometime I plan to go back there, probably next year or so??? I will either be taking another bus trip, or possibly drive there??? We shall see...

Medium sized garden located on top of hill. Great view and nice sculptures. Love the vegetable garden there. Most part of garden is well maintained and clearly labelled. Will come back in fall and spring to check out other plants.

It's a beautiful place to visit with a wide array of flowers, plants, trees and cool deco garden art. They have many scenic paths to venture along, including trails in the woods. They also have a cafe that serves unique farm-to-table salads, sandwiches, soups and frittatas and pastries (although very pricey - $10.50 for a salad, $5.00 more to add salmon or chicken to salads with no meat and $4.00 for a drink). There is a gift shop too, with a lot of cool items. The workers work hard and diligently to maintain and flourish the garden, and one gardener that I spoke with really loved her work and her job. It was awesome to see this passion and to see her heart and devotion being poured out into what she loves! She planted beautiful Snapdragons for the cute little hummingbirds, which you'll see fluttering around, along with all sorts of birds and butterflies. I've visited during the Summer season, which was beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and such a joy. I've also gone to the Christmas event, which is a MUST see with a beautiful array or Christmas lights all throughout the property, inside and outside, and tons of beautifully decorated Christmas trees in a variety of arrangements and splendor! You can also buy 3D glasses at the gift shop, which adds an extra Christmas touch to the lights that you view, such as seeing them as snowmen, Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. The cafe also has a variety of Christmas treats and hot cocoa! This place is wonderful and I can't wait to check out the other seasons too!

Sadly, it was just "okay". We felt it was nothing more than an expensive hike in the woods. Nothing especially pretty to see as far as flowers or plants. We had wraps in Farmer and the Fork. Our wraps were okay, but the person who made them forgot to put Feta cheese in them. They ran out of pickles and he said he would bring us one, but never did.
We will never need to visit there again.

This place is unbelievable. There is no season that we don't love coming to Tower Hill to see all the plants, exhibits, and walk the trails. The winter reimagined lights are magical, and the summer walks here are relaxing and educational.

This place is super cool. Unelievable landscaping and gardens here, and so much to explore. With a six year old, we were able to keep her entertained for over an hour (that's alot!) and still had patience for some lunch from the yummy Cafe inside. Not sure what it's like in other seasons, but more-July was full of life and blooms. I highly recommend this place.

We went here for the winter lights in the gardens. They did a great job with the lights and the grounds a beautiful. Strolled through the gardens stopped at one of the fire pits and chatted with the very friendly attendants. Inside we enjoyed some hot chocolate and strolled through the indoor gardens. The gift shop was well decorated and had a variety of items to choose from. I will come back next year for the light displays, great time with the family.

Been a member for almost 20 years. Beautiful grounds all year long. The two huge indoor greenhouses are filled with exotic and many flowering plants. Also, the food is delicious and very healthy.

This was my second visit to THBG, my first in autumn. I was surprised to see how many flowers are still blooming. There are various flowers from different parts of the world. The indoor exhibits are of a tropical nature. There is a gorgeous pathway with well labeled trees of their variety and where they are from in the world. Flora isn't their only specialty. Peppered throughout the garden are several beautiful statues both indoors and out. My first visit was the beginning of summer, and I found both seasons to be equally beautiful. I'd love to see this place in the winter.
