What a beautiful place to hold events for loved ones, get lost in nature and get back to our roots as an animal species. I went there once for an end of life celebration and as sad as it is to think of loved ones lost, I don t think there could have been a more perfect place to accompany friends and family, while giving those the freedom to catch their breath, slow down, and literally smell the roses. They are nice once you let yourself enjoy the beauty of nature

Nothing in bloom to see really.... Three rhodies. I was told that the cafe closes at 3 and they closed at 2:30 after the person in front of me and with plenty of food on display still.
Crazy expensive for 2 people and 2 dogs...$40 ...for what?!?
Located in central Massachusetts, Tower Hill is a botanical garden, with some fields & forest to hike through, and a nice visitor's center that would be good for a wedding reception or other function. There was a carnivorous plant showing when we visited, and the shows rotate. The space is truly beautiful.
We decided to head there for an early September afternoon; it was beautiful out, and visiting had been on our to-do list for a while. It was one of those late summer early September New England days; the sun golden to match the fields, in that warm & dry stretch of time that goes from around Labor Day through the actual beginning of autumn. The fields & forests have monuments, statues, and points of interest along them, and it's an enjoyable time to just soak up the sun or enjoy the dappled shade as you come upon them.
The fields are what got me though, overgrown, wild, and gone fallow with wild flowers and grasses, I couldn't think of anything more quintessentially New England. It was one of those places that makes you feel more connected to the people you're with, but also to life in general; no distractions, no noise. Just the sun, someone you love, the wind rustling the lengthening shadows as it blows through the grass, and the buzzing of late summer bugs and the occasional bird. I get the feeling this is the way life was in centuries past, and I wonder if it should have remained that way.
Take a trip here in the winter for a plant/flower fix during the grey months, or go in the spring/summer and soak up the beauty that surrounds you.
Miss "Twigs" cafe. Stopped by today for a coffee and dessert on the veranda, but the new place was closed. Miss the fun wait staff and food.. Don't much care for cafeteria style fare.
Tower Hill Botanical Garden is simply beautiful. I had a work conference there. It was a great place to listen to the latest work training and engage with colleagues. The staff is wonderful and outdoor spaces are gorgeous. I highly recommend this place.
Enjoyed the night lights display pretty well - cheaper to go on weekday (not primetime) nights. Probably about an hour, hour and a half walk around. Each year gets a little bigger. Rainbow tunnel was a really fun little spot. Have to pre-pay online for tickets! Just a little disappointed each time I come here with the admission price for what you get - the grounds aren't as large as it seems they would be.
It's a beautiful and serene place. Meeting room was great, temperature well controlled and the gardens are amazing. The food was simple, fresh and tasty.
Kids had a blast during the Christmas decoration period. The lights were incredibly well done and the little igloo for the kids was awesome. The grilled cheese food truck they had was to die for.
What a lovely place this is. There are amazing sculptures to enjoy, beautiful gardens, lovely trails and amazing views. The main building is a work of art and comes complete with a restaurant and library. The trail we followed had all kinds of stone sculptures to enjoy around every bend. I was there is early May and loved the fields of tulips. I highly recommend these lovely gardens.
Amazing gardens in central MA. In the spring/summer/fall there are lots of long trails and well-tended gardens. In the winter many plants are brought into the greenhouses, which is a nice reminder that the New England winter isn't permanent. Lots of family friendly activities throughout the year.
The Festival of Light's was SO beautiful!!! Each area had something to see!!! I joined!!! Can't wait to see Spring, Summer & Fall!!! My Cup runth over!!!
A very nice place if you like Greco-roman art and beautiful gardens. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return for another day trip. Admission is a bit pricey and so is the food court considering they serve mostly salads.
Beautiful location with trails I want to explore in warmer weather. The indoor space has nice display areas of varying sizes. The cafe has a nice view of the property. The salad I had was delicious. My rating will likely increase when I have explored the grounds.
Beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and a beautiful indoor display (this time of orchids). The seed library in the library is a great resource and we can't wait to return later in spring/summer.
A nice place to walk around. It wasn't as nice as I was hoping for. Allot of walking trails there as a restaurant but it is only open at certain time. It wasn't open when we were there. Not allot outdoor gardens or ponds. It was nice anyway.
Tremendous way to start the Christmas season. First visit and won't be last. The firefly display was the highlight and would love to have it on our trees by the river in our community.
This was such a lovely botanical garden. There are some amazing art sculptures and beautiful flowers. We did some walking on the trails but forgot the bug spray. Take bug spray! #FineART #studiosmithson
I had a very unpleasant experience here. It is true that they do have some unique gardens with nice specimens. Their designs were very nice. However, every employee who worked there was VERY rude to me. I felt like they just sniffed the middle-class in me and turned their nose up. I didn't feel welcomed as a plantsman and a horticulturalist. I felt that this place was intended for the rich and snobby. I had heard good things about the gardens from my friends, but I was certainly appalled by the employees working there. Just asking for simple directions and suggestions, I felt like I was a nuisance. Of course, I know everyone has their bad days, but I left here with a very bitter taste in my mouth.
Beautiful! Great place to roam around. Happened to catch the dahlia festival which was awesome, but crowded. Great place to meditate or just sit. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Such a gem. I ve been going here since I was little and I took my husband for his first time for the winter lights festival. It was wonderful. Highly recommended event! Any time of year is wonderful at Tower Hill.
Went for the Night Lights event. Despite being very crowded, it was super pretty and I enjoyed the experience. It seems like the sort of place I might go back to outside the event.
Wonderful gardens. Lovely sculptures. Great place to wander and walk. Trails were in excellant shape. Cafe had excellant views on the outdoor terrace but menu lacked variety.
