An amazing rock climbing/bouldering gym. Tons of space for both rock climbing and bouldering. Lots of variety between climbs and an absolutely awesome community. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone interested, beginners and veterans alike!
The best indoor Climbing gym in the touchstone chain of gyms and probably the best indoor Climbing gym in California. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This gym is not just for climbers, but anyone wanting to get fit. There is a full weight and cardio area with many machines and free weights. This place offers classes and allows you to diversify your work out, providing a change from the normal routine. If you haven't been, check it out. Great for day passed, punch cards, month to month, or year memberships.
The staff is really friendly, the facility is clean, and the patrons are friendly. The staff changes up the routes frequently enough that I don't get bored.
Good fitness facilities, and very many well-set bouldering problems at all skill levels. The place is currently surrounded by homeless tents lining several streets in the area, but the gated parking lot seems somewhat safe. I parked in a neighborhood a few blocks south and walked over.
Well the girl at the front desk had an attitude and acted like it was a real inconvenience that my six year old son and I were there. Her tone was very condescending the entire time as we were trying to figure out exactly how things worked.
The other girl there was very sweet and polite.
Not much for a six year old to do. I was under the impression that I could belay for him so he could enjoy himself and climb. Apparently you have to take an hour class to belay someone. I asked if someone could show me real fast but that was not an option. I have a background in ropes and have all the qualifications to be on a California Task Force Team that gets deployed all over the world to perform rope rescues, but since I haven t had someone there tell me how to do it for $40 my son could basically do nothing. Wasted $50.
