Great salon! The staff can be so friendly and helpful.

I frequent Total Stan in West Hollywood a few times a year for about a month at a time, usually before a trip. Not only are their pieces reasonable, but their customer service is 5 star. Carol, the owner, is always willing to work with me (within reason) as I am not an easy client, and is always very kind to me. One of the main reasons I come back though, is Natalie. She s very sweet, always smiling and puts up with a lot. I ve seen other clients be rude to her and be quite demanding and she s as professional as they come. I hope Natalie never leaves (selfishly) only because she is truly part of what makes the experience so lovely. To the drunk woman below who wrote the ill grammared review about her (have a few more glasses of Chardonnay lol). It s a great place with friendly people, new state of the art beds and in a prime location. Thanks TT.

i GOT THREATING AT 9:15 PM TONIGHT BY BRITTANY AND NATALIE TO GET OUT OR THEY WOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE AT 9:15 PM .....AND THIS
BECAUSE ???? I HAVE NOT IDEA.... I WAS ASKING FOR WHAT IS OVERDUE TO ME

love this spot! staff makes me feel welcome and like I m back home in Michigan. they also give really good advice about what level to do / accessories. Big ups!! The girl at the front is cool and on the ball.

Love love this place. Theyr illegal in Australia which is a shame as the quality & fact it tans without harmful rays makes this awesome. Top tanning beds & super nice & helpful staff

I got a great tan in one visit on the new tanning bed. In only 10 minutes!

1 star is a compliment. Outdated building and even worse equipment. Don't WASTE your time going here, only disappointment will follow. Prices are always different and the quality has gone DOWN hill. Hopefully this saves you from falling victim.

Horrific customer service -- their front counter staff lack proper training, knowledge, and basic commitment to their jobs to adequately service customers' needs. The owners "manage" their business remotely by watching security camera feeds linked to their cell phones.

Total Tan remains in business largely due to their practice of aggressively pursuing customers and BRIBING them with free products and services for posting positive reviews on Facebook, Google, Yelp!, etc-- in violation of the platforms' policies.

Their menu of services beyond tanning include various weight-loss and other money grab "treatments" marketed with outrageous claims that have been debunked by the medical community, and dismissed as deceptive and misleading forms of snake oil peddling.

It is unbelievable that the City of West Hollywood and Better Business Bureau are complicit to "Sid and Nancy's" business practices.

Love this place. Initially bought a Groupon to use, but ended up buying more services directly. Parking is a little tricky, but plenty. Very good customer service. And they have good competitive tan beds. Good location also.

Total Tan is the BEST Tanning Salon in LA !
The owner Phil, Ali and Alex are always professional and knowledgeable, as well as the rest of the staff, who are friendly, cool and provide excellent customer service.

They have high-performance tanning beds, that are comfortable, private and easy to use. The equipment is always updated w/ new bulbs, fans, ventilation and music to chill.

I also highly recommend the spray tan as well. They provide several shades of spray tanning that is convenient and affordable w/ your lifestyle.

I'm a Figure Competitor who needs to be abnormally dark for a competition. And Alex totally understood my needs and made me feel totally comfortable. And she did shading and contouring to make my muscle definition pop! Score! She also explains everything in detail, and gave me instructions on how to keep my tan and golden glow. I'm pleased w/ the results. And Ali is awesome too!

Total Tan has great affordable deals, whether you want a one-time tan or continuously come in as a regular, compared to the over-priced tanning salons here in Hollywood. And don't listen to the bad reviews here. I've been coming here for years, and everyone rocks!

I highly recommend Total Tan and had a great experience.....Convenient location, awesome beds.....definitely be back soon.

Nice pricing, wonderful results! I lost a couple inches around my thighs and my bloated belly disappeared. I used a Groupon coupon and got an awesome deal for an infrared body wrap.
BRING EXTRA CLOTHES or a swimsuit or dont wear yoyr undergarmets because they will be DRENCHED. They don't have extra clothes, showers, wipes, or special garmets. They only provide you with a body bag for your sweat, but it doesn't do much to stifle the wet onslaught.
They have tvs but I just watched some asian dramas on my phone and propped it on my chest.
The assistance buzzer was broken according to one associate, yet the other got annoyed when I shouted for her instead of using the buzzer because she said it was not broken. Either way, you don't need much assistance beside a couple towels, turning the machine in and off, and water
Drinking water is $1.25 so either bring your own or be prepared to pay extra because you will want water. Not much instruction or assistance, but it is pretty straightforward. Attendants kind of just leave you there to steam for a bit and time melts away.....I ended up sitting there without realizing the machine had turned off for 30 extra minutes.

Great place, awesome staff and one time the guy gave me a free upgrade which was nice! The beds are off the chart. If you want to get dark it s definitely the place to be!

Love the beds and spray tans but the customer service isn't the best.

It does what it says on the tin. Friendly staff, super service and spotlessly clean. Love it.
