Don't ever use this company. They steal your money and then tell you that they mailed it to the IRS. The IRS doesn't go through this service company to collect funds. The IRS directly drains from your bank account to collect any owed money! Don't let this company fool you, they are sneaky

I I could Give these Total Merchant Services A Minus 5 I would . they are thieves they keep taking money out of my account after I closed it . They Took me for $400
And do not answer the phone when I call. Stay Away!!!!!!

Always frustrating being forced to give 1 star because these guys just don't deserve it. We opened an account through a friend who was selling processing for someone else. He placed us with TMS. We fully disclosed who we were and what we did - web design.

Everything went well for a first 7-10 days and we began processing some recurring billing transactions. The first few payments accepted and ere funded to our bank account.

Suddenly, every payment started getting suspended. I'd unsuspend and they'd get suspended again. Turns out TMS didn't like web designers (or SEO people, not sure which as the rude girl on the phone couldn't or wouldn't tell me). "We closed your account and we can't reopen it no matter what you tell us." Really? This all without conveying any information to us - obviously they haven't received the email about email!! :-)

Now I know that merchant processors haven't got their "stellar" reputation by being good, but these guys have to be the poster child for lousy service.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

After just over 2 years of being with Total Merchant Services we were charged for a termination fee and a software fee (Quickbooks was offered in the beginning free of charge if we signed on for at least 2 years). We have called them MANY times to get this resolved but they just take a message and never return our calls. We closed our account with them because they could never do what they said they could do with our fees.

Don't use these CROOKS! First of all WE had an account for over 7 years we never had a problem until 2016 and 2017. This company charged us for 2 machines for over a year 1/2 PLUS some other fake fee's then we try to get OUR money back and response from them is only a 3 month refund can be issued we spoke to many supervisors finally we reached out to Better Business Bureau wrote a complaint also wrote to the feds reporting Wells Fargo, Total Merchants, and Money Tree. Next they turned our machines off without notice so we didn't have a new merchant in place yet cost us money for a few days until we could run cards again with a new merchant.. We still never got the $1400.00 reimbursed to us. They must of got n
ew management or they changed hands because never before did they ever rip us off like this. RUN BEWARE DON'T DO IT FIND A MERCHANT WHO PUTS THE CUSTOMER FIRST AND WON'T RIP YOU OFF!

I would give TMS negative star if I can. When you sign up with them they get you by advertising lower prices and free terminal. Once you sign up, they get you by charging you additional processing and account fees that's not mentioned when you sign up. When I discontinued their service and returned terminal as asked, 1 year later I got a notice from a collection agency that TMS has put my business in collection as they received terminal 2 days late and they dont want it anymore. They are trying to collect $300 through collection agency now. I will need to go through the hassle of fighting this dispute when they have already received the terminal. Beware of this business and stay away from them if you can.

I have been with this company for many years. After a couple of years the fees kept increasing. I finally closed the account due to high fees. Their last gift to me was to charge me even higher fees. I recommend not going with this company, unless you like to through your money away.

These reviews are all correct. This company is a scam, they charge for equipment that you don't have and then try to sneak charges for insurance on the equipment that you don't have. When you try to get a supervisor on the phone, no one is EVER available since this is part of their scam. They are indeed total CROOKS and know exactly what they are doing.

Took out the middle man and then upped charges. Help setting things up properly, good luck. Go elsewhere.

I closed my account 5 month ago but till now every month they take my money from my account. Be aware everyone. Every time I called some time they don t have answer why they take my money, some time they said system error. I really really hate this company.
