Navigating their websiteS (plural because why not make things needlessly and exceedingly confusing for their clientele?) is an absolute nightmare. Wound up locked out of my own account. Called the Help Desk only to receive an automated prompt telling me to leave a message and that they would "call me back". Still haven't heard from anyone. Ridiculous. Zero effort put into customer care, efficiency, or ease of use. If I could have rated zero stars I would have. Private insurance like this is a racket. Even with a Gold Plan this is how they deal with their customer base. This is why we need Medicare for All.

Inept customer service! Called 3 days in a row just to get proof of insurance for my car insurance company. I do this every 6 months, usually no problem until now! Only one person actually put forth the effort. The first time I called the woman didn't even request the letter which now has to be sent to your address and takes 7-10business days. Wasn't told that on the first call. I found this out in the second call about the timing and she didn't look to see of the request was made. Third call, the guy told me the request wasn't made and he couldn't because my account was open (more than likely by the first woman who clearly doesn't know what she is doing). He had to request to close it from another department. I called again this morning just to get told by this woman that they don't accept these kinds of requests...WHAT? This is my insurance company and I can't request proof? She then asks me "what exactly do you need so I can ask another coworker'. MY GOODNESS! So she comes back to the phone to say NOBODY has responded to the last request. Next open enrollment, I'm changing insurance companies.

If I could give less than one star I would. Paid more for their insurance than what I pay for private BCN insurance. Spent 12k last year with them, they won't cover 1200 in medical expenses from last year. Nothing like spending money on a company that provides you with maybe 8 choices of doctors hours away from where would be convenient. Should have read the reviews...

I have had the privilege to work with the kindest, most thought leader, C.E.O., in the world! Please be KIND to them! They serve the world's largest african american population in Detroit, Michigan, and Asthma and Diabetes Type 2 is the greatest healthcare challenge Detroit has.

This is the worst insurance company ever they refuse to cover any medical expenses, they ask for prior letters of authorization for everything, plus they never answer the phone and when they do there very unhelpful (DONT GET THIS INSURANCE)!!

Customer service is "horrible". I had contacted the total health care building that is located on Grand Blvd Detroit Michigan. The woman "Jami" who picked up the phone was so rude and unprofessional. This lady really was screaming and trying to argue with me on the phone. Just because she got irritated that I was asking her questions about my daughter health care plan. I never experienced customer service like that before. I understand people be having they own personal problems going on in life but there is no way a employee should ever be rude/disrespectful to a customer especially if I am not disrespecting you. I will be changing my daughter healthcare insurance ASAP. The insurance is not good and the customer service and Detroit Michigan at the Fisher building is horrible please bring people in that know how to communicate.

Took them 3 tries and 2 months to get me my insurance card, which meant i ran out of my medication and had to go several weeks without.My job offers this insurance...they must have very little regard or concern for their own employees...VERY sad at both ends
