Tortilla Flats Bar & Grill Reviews

The chili burger is generous and delicious! The fajita salad with carne asada was huge and very tasty. And, as always, friendly and attentive service.

The drive alone to Tortilla Flat is worth the trip!

This is a great place to take anyone of town. The food is priced right and tasty. Staff is nice. It gets a little crowded sometimes but I never waited more than 10 min. And the dollar bills on all the wals and horse saddles as seats by the bar make this place very interesting. And make sure to go check out the restrooms they are fun as well :-)

It was a nice slow ride thru the mountains with beautiful scenery.

Tortilla Flats restaurant had a very limited menu, slim pickings for choices, high prices and all our waitress did was complain that it was quite for five hours and now it's loud. No duh lady, it was a little after five and you close at 7. More

Great get away destination. We drove up just to grab ice cream and then to hang out at Canyon Lake. Ice cream was great, buildings were cool, restaurant smelled good. Lots of people, so parking was scarse.

An enjoyable drive on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and a cold drink. Busy and had a small wait, which could be outside in the shade.

Quaint little hole in the wall. Only beer and wine for alcohol choices.

The view on drive there is amazing. It was off season so most of it was still closed. The stores that were open were your typical tourist traps with high prices.

Always a decent place to stop and grab a bite to eat. It really is a small town, believe it or not. The food at he saloon is mighty tasty, especially after a morning on the lake. The only downside is parking can get pretty bad since it s become a bit of a tourist destination. Even with a full parking lot though, there s plenty of room and plenty of seats for a meal.

this is a place that everybody has to go to at least once in their life I love the scenery and it's so picturesque and the food at the a tortilla flats with outstanding I would recommend that to anyone for a good bite to eat and a fun atmosphere

a quirky restaurant/bar, old west style...we enjoyed chatting with the waitress and bartender...decent food...the ladies' room has a cute decor

Great atmosphere to check out and take a break while going down the Apache Trail. Line for the tavern was to long to wait but was able to enjoy some ice cream at the general store.

OK to take visiting guests to. Prices in line with other out of town guests.

Great place to be in the winter, especially for hiking, but the people here are nice and everyone we saw seemed to be old and happy!

We love taking a drive here and we always get the prickly pear and banana gelato!

Fun place and the food was delicious. Only issue are the roads we took to get there OH MY! We were on a Motorcycle and was nearly beat to death with pot holes. If they put some money into the road we would definitely be going again and bringing friends.

Little 'old west' type tourist town. Great for a 'last' stop before entering the wilderness. They have a restaurant, tourist trinket shop, and ice cream/gelato. There is a small one - room museum showing old photos of how the roadway was first used.

Drive up today from the east valley for the first time. Great drive! Enjoyed seeing Canyon Lake. We were looking forward to seeing this cool little historic place and eating at the saloon. That s when it went downhill. The hostess set our menus on the table with the silverware and disappeared. We weren t even at the table yet and about 10 steps behind her. Turns out she was our server too. Oh boy! Service started out fine. My bf ordered and assumed he was getting chicken (server didn t ask) and she just chose a burger for him. Burger was dry and overdone. She never refilled our waters and our beer glasses sat empty as she walked past us twice. Food was marginal at best.

Food was so so, not hot. I'll give it another shot at some point.

We had a fantastic lunch at the tortilla flat saloon. Gourmet burgers on pretzel buns, a great waiter that definitely earned his tip. Word of advice, don't buy ice cream from the little fink in the ice cream store that won't let you taste it before you buy it... It's not even that good.

Excellent green chile cheeseburger!...but still not as good as New Mexico's.

Seemed like a nice place but they close at 5p on the weekdays... :( we got there a little after 5 and it was another ghost town. Keep driving past it for a real adventure!

Not great food but fun and friendly service. Plus, wallpaper is worth about 400k.

We had really good BLT's with plenty of bacon. Service is always good and very friendly. The road trip to get there is beautiful and well worth it.

So much fun. The scenery surrounding it is beautiful. The gift shop is a little bit high priced, but great items. The restaurant has very good food. Worth the short trip to get there.

Love this place, we go often for a quick get away. It's beautiful and they have a nostalgic restaurant with great hamburgers! Definitely worth adding to your "to do" list
