Ordered a product from them. After that I read a bunch of reviews saying this site was a scam. I have emailed them 3 times with no response. I still don't know when or if my product will come. Many reviews said they never got their product.
I did end up canceling my item. They told me it would take a few days to process. After a couple days I received the item in the mail. I returned it a d got my money returned to me. Site may be legit, but horrible customer service. It takes approximately a week for them to respond to you. The response is typically short and ends with you having more questions. You then have to wait a week to get another response. The information they give you about the product is also very limited.
Horrible customer service! They lead you on thinking they are giving you this wonderful resolution, it was a slap in the face, so disrespectful. What a waste of my time. I can get a 10% off coupon anywhere! Other vendors warned me about this type of scam where you buy at a low price and then they tell you months later that's it's unavailable and they of course have nothing comparable in that price range, just to get you to buy something much more expensive. Terrible disgusting business practice, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
SCAM - Conned me out of almost $25 dollars in cancelling a small order but refusing to communicate a refund. Based on many other reviews here along with no working phone numbers or any kind of customer service, its clear this is a fraudulent company scamming people at such a sensitive time when we're online shopping now more than ever. DO NOT ORDER FROM FILENE S BASEMENT!! This outfit appears to be a scam. I placed an order 7 april and my account was charged for my order on 8 april. The website shows no item has been shipped as of this writing on 22 may. I have made repeated attempts to contact both the listed numbers for Filene s Basement and Torrey Commerce. In both instances, there is no way to actually make proper contact. There is a non-existent directory list and messages, both voice mail and email, are not returned other than an auto response. Torrey Commerce doesn t even appear to exist though they list and address. Scam!
