DO NOT ORDER FROM FILENE S BASEMENT!! This outfit appears to be a scam. I placed an order 7 april and my account was charged for my order on 8 april. The website shows no item has been shipped as of this writing on 22 may. I have made repeated attempts to contact both the listed numbers for Filene s Basement and Torrey Commerce. In both instances, there is no way to actually make proper contact. There is a non-existent directory list and messages, both voice mail and email, are not returned other than an auto response. Torrey Commerce doesn t even appear to exist though they list and address. Scam!
